It was a great location just a short car ride from Suluban Beach, Uluwatu Temple, and the main area with all the restaurants. It also was a short ride to Padang Padang Beach. The general hotel area was reasonably sized with plenty of sunbathing loungers and a petite pool. There weren’t a huge number of rooms like a hotel resort so the grounds served the number of guests sufficiently. Rooms were a decent size and tidy. The locals managing the front desk covered the basic needs and were polite. And overall the hotel felt safe as it was our first time visiting Bali and we didn’t know anything. We were traveling with two children who stayed in their own separate room and we had peace of mind.

On checking in we did happen to get the room (#8) mentioned in previous posts where the smell from bathroom was not pleasant. When we informed the staff, they obligingly helped us change rooms and there was no smell. Our children’s room thankfully did not have any smell. In the late evenings there is not much food and drink options nearby, but this may be the case for most hotels around Uluwatu, Pecatu unless you are on the main restaurant strip which may also mean noise.

I stayed here for just one night and had a really great experience. The breakfast was absolutely amazing — and only 4 euros! It included freshly brewed coffee, a glass of fresh juice, three pancakes (you could choose banana-based or plain), and a plate with four types of fresh fruit. It was honestly unforgettable. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful. There’s a hammock, a lounging area, and it’s just a very relaxed and welcoming space. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and cozy. I think it’s an excellent value for money, and I had no complaints at all. I’d definitely recommend staying here, especially for the breakfast!

Well, just one small thing: sometimes there was a bit of a sewage smell in the bathroom when water was being drained somewhere in the building. But apart from that, everything was great.

The location was very quiet and peaceful, close to walk to a few restaurants & only a few minutes on scooter to so many restaurants and shops!

Uluwatu Jungle Villa Great location if you want serenity , on the edge of town . Quiet and serene boutique accommodation , with lovely and well kept tropical gardens, loved the swimming pool area , with enough sunbeds for the small amount of Villas . The kitchen and bar were right by the pool , also there were 2 massage beds . Really enjoyed the breakfasts , a choice of western or Balinese , nice coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juice . There were one or two restaurants within a short walk , with Ulu Resto being the best one . If you want to just relax or see Uluwatu Temple , or other things , you will need transportation, whether it’s your own hired or hire a local driver to show you around, or grab a scooter ride with the GRAB app .

The only negative comment I have is the shower wasn’t very good , it was more of a hand held shower fixing .

The location was really secluded and beautiful, but also really easy to get to shops, restaurants and beaches. The staff were incredible, really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, really big portions. We were working remote while travelling and it was a great spot for us to work by the pool and then still go out in the evening / for day trips.

The internet was a bit spotty, and there was some construction going on next door but it didn’t bother us.

Everything else was just spot on. The staff were the kindest souls, the room was big with plenty of outside space to relax, the greenery/ gardens and pool made my stay really enjoyable. I made use of the fridge and kettle which I appreciated having. Hot shower was great. Location is good also, near Land's end Cafe which is a delight for lunch and breakfast. Would highly recommend.

The walls felt a little thin in terms of insulation, I could hear my neighbours late at night.

We loved how quiet and relaxing the property is. The pool and gardens are well maintained, the rooms are clean and they serve a yummy breakfast. The fruit each morning was my highlight. It is a little away from the busy areas, but has lots of nice restaurants close by and is a short scooter ride to the local beaches. The staff were great, and were very helpful and let us check in early and wait around the pool area after checkout due to our flight times , which we really appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay!

Room was comfortable with mini fridge stocked with water, pop and beer for purchase. Pool area was lovely with lounge chairs and garden area. Breakfast was provided on site for purchase. Bar area also on site with drinks for purchase available. A few excellent local restaurants within easy walking distance. 15 minute walk to Uluwate Temple.

The wifi was very poor. Searching or downloading was almost impossible. The bed was also hard.

The garden and the pool area, well kept and super clean. Simple but Very good breakfast.

It’s a bit inconvenient that they only provide Breakfast since there are no options regarding lunch or dinner. There’s only one good cafe/bar nearby if not, you need a bike/car ride to go anywhere else or order food online. Toilets are ok but shower has no glass or curtain, so every time you shower the bathroom gets wet. Not a major problem but it’s good to know.
