Everything about this place is fantastic. The service, the food, the rooms, the pool and especially the sunset bar on the top floor. The breakfast is copious and fresh with everything you could desire. We rented bikes to go into town one day and that was very convenient. The beach is steps away and there is a nice boardwalk along the sea. The hotel is quite small so very relaxing. We also had massages which were wonderful. We will absolutely return.

The only issue we had was the construction in the area which at times was loud and dusty. They are building up that coastline now and there are a few buildings under construction near the hotel.

This was our second stay at Villa Chiquita and we love the hotel. Our room large, comfortable, spacious and very clean. Great shower and bathroom facility. The WiFi seemed to work fine but we did not try to stream video or watch on-line content. The team at the hotel are excellent, nothing is too much trouble and they are focussed on giving great customer service. Breakfast is a real treat with a wide selection of pretty much anything you could want and there is a hot food option that is freshly prepared by the chef. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the sea if you like a morning dip.

There is very little to not like about Villa Chiquita and we will return in the spring. There was some building work going on next to the hotel which did not really impact us because it is in the day time and we tended to be out and about. However, this is not the hotel's fault and I am sure is only temporary.

It was a very good stay. The hotel met our expectations; the rooms have sea views and are pleasant. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is extremely pleasant and attentive. Thank you again to them for making this stay even more enjoyable. If you're coming by car, you can easily park around the hotel. The hotel is next to a path leading to a beach and is generally well located. The two outdoor pools are good sizes, even if they are not heated. The spa is nice, although it can be a bit small during peak season and when there are more people.The rooftop is a real charmer and the view is incredible for the sunsets. We recommend that you take the dinner option, as it is of high quality and varied. It's not a buffet, but a truly elaborate menu.

There is nothing we fundamentally disliked, however, given that you are further away, we think it is imperative to have a car for sightseeing and not rely on public transport.

We absolutely loved the rooftop terrace with bar, food and pool! The sea views are stunning and watching the sunset was glorious. We actually spent all 3 evenings here as it was clearly the best place to be. The ground level pool was also very relaxing and a lovely calm place to swim and relax, as well as enjoy poolside cocktails. Our room was very clean and spacious with a sofa area, balcony with deck chairs and lovely sea views. Great to have coffee/ tea and kettle provided. Loved the bathroom also. Breakfast was very good with a vast choice of sweet, savoury and fresh fruits provided, as well as eggs of your choosing. A 5 minute walk to a tiny, cute beach and the larger popular beach. And the little local fun “ train” stops 100m away to take you into the town if you want to explore further. A big thank you to the staff, Martina and Lia, and Santiago in particular for his friendliness and enthusiasm.

We wanted the air conditioning to be a couple of degrees cooler a couple of times after returning from the heat outside, but as it is centrally controlled, could not change it ourselves. Other than that, all was perfect!

The staff at the reception was very good, very welcoming and friendly. The same for the housekeeping staff and dining. Amazing rooftop terrace with outdoor pool and just gorgeous sunsets. kettle in the room plus free mineral water. The room was very well equipped, with everything you need. Beautiful restaurant with seaview and nice space- tables not to close to each other, so you have your space. They invite great musicians so the dining experience was amazing. I feel they really look after you and want you to make feel comfortable. It's very clean and aesthetic. You can take nice beach, seafront walks from the hotel in both left and right directions, and the bus stop is very close to the hotel too. There was also very nice church in the town and enough restaurants and places to eat to make your stay nice. The area is rather quiet, and still developing, but it wasn't a bad thing for me. I had a nice stay and was able to recharge my batteries. Didn't need much more. So overall very great experience and would recommend the place. Beautiful smell everywhere 😍

There was no "do not disturb" sign to hang on the door when you don't want the cleaning personel to come into your room, and when you don't respond to their knocking quickly enough they just enter your room.

We have visited this hotel on numerous occasions - the staff welcome us like old friends, particularly Mabel on reception who goes out of her way to ensure that your visit is everything you would hope for, including providing a number of treats by way of recognition of our frequent trips. The rooms are immaculate, as is the rest of the hotel, both inside and out. Couldn't wish for more.

Parking in the area can be difficult - this is not a hotel issue but more of an issue with the resort in general.

Food was nice, views were great, top floor was great, breakfast could be improved if staff were more interactive and proactive, more hospitable and genuine at an important time of the day.

We arrived to an empty room terrace but we had very limited places to sit as towels had been left strewn across all the best seats and loungers. Please bring in a no person, no bed policy to stop abuse of this and caring customers being abused by the selfish.

The air-conditioning is not sufficient for the rooms My personal preference would be a nice cool room when I arrive back to it after spending time in the sun

The whole staff was very friendly. Our Junior Suite with the view to the sea was spacious and clean, looking down the hotel pool. We loved the atmosphere and the food of the rooftop bar so much that we dined there 3 times during our stay. Breakfast buffet has everything you wish with many extra dishes you can order for free. Nice short walk along the wood deck to the nearest beach with a beach restaurant and sun beds to rent.

Our toilet had a sliding door which didn't close completely and occasionally smelled of sewage. We had to regularly fight off some flies in the room. But no mosquitos, fortunately.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Villa Chiquita in September 2023. We were greeted with an extremely warm welcome by Matteo at the desk. The reception staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially if you need recommendations for excursions etc. The lobby area is modern, with an authentic Spanish feel. Our room was spacious and very clean. Others have said the beds are uncomfortable, but I'd disagree! One small problem was that the shower was not much more than a trickle - we left it a couple of days but it didn't improve, so we spoke to Mateu at reception - he immediately got the maintenance guy to have a look, and he found it to have a blockage! We were really impressed with how quickly they dealt with the problem. Air conditioning in the room isn't great, it doesn't feel really feel like air conditioning as the temperature stays the same, so perhaps some electric fans might be a good idea! Breakfast is very nice, the same each day but there are quite a few options. Plenty of fruit, pancakes, eggs, pastries etc. Also milk alternatives and a few options for vegans. The spa, pool and outside areas are very clean - unfortunately the main pool is in shade for much of the day, and so is too cold to swim, but the dipping pool on the roof is nice. The roof top area is perfect for sunbathing ,and the live sax & sunset are a really good weekend combination! Plus the food and drinks are reasonably priced. Parking is a little expensive at €20 a day so we just parked out on the road for free, no problem. Overall a lovely hotel, which we would highly recommend.
