Great villas with very attentive host and staff. Overall the villa was clean and any issues were addressed promptly. The villas are spacious and well appointed, the pool was clean and the outdoor(ish) shower was very nice! It's not too far from the main part of Kuta, but you would probably be better off with a scooter - but we liked this as the surrounding area was quiet.

The one suggestion I would have is to increase the hours of the pool pump operation. Morning and afternoon is good, but the water does get a little murky after the pump has been idle, meaning swimming in the middle part of the day, early morning or evening wasn't as pleasant. We had a little bit of bad luck on our stay, but nothing really attributable to the villa, rather things that can just happen when you travel through developing countries (such as a pipe issue and associated noise and water being cut off). The good thing was that every issue was very promptly handled by the staff. The TV did not work and because of other things we never brought this up with staff - all in all it was good to get a bit of digital detox.

great place to stay, we spent 10 days based here, it's very comfortable, staff are excellent and its well placed to set as a base for travels across the Kuta area and beyond. close enough to the main area (good walk or short scooter) and while the prayers can be heard all over the island, the was no obtrusiveness to them at this location. other friends had a mosque nearby and found sleeping through the early morning prayers difficult, but this was not an issue at Kalea.

Nothing that comes to mind, no complaints at all.

We loved the privacy and tranquility of the location - far enough away from the main centre, but not too far on a scooter. Staff were extremely helpful and happy to find solutions to any questions we had, whether it was transport or first aid or housekeeping. The villa gave me a fabulous birthday cake as a surpise, so felt really spoilt! The Villa had everything we needed and the AC was a treat Breakfast was awesome.. we all had different meals and all were tasty, with great coffee!

Everything was great.

The villa was beautiful and well kept. I loved the outdoor bathroom and the shower! It was a perfect space for 2 people, and of course we spent most of our time outside on the couch/sun loungers as the weather is so lovely. Location was great, about a 3 minute scooter ride from the centre of town, and close to so many restaurants and whatever you needed. Landscaping of the accommodation was beautiful, they have done a great job and ensured great upkeep of the place.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable. We would have appreciated more than a small bottle of water each day - we ended up buying our own which wasnt an issue, but for the quality of the place, more water would have been appreciated. More pool/beach towels would have been great. The mini-bar items were out of date. Be careful of this before you eat them! It was slightly annoying to pay such a large cash deposit for the room, especially since we were returning home directly after this, but we were able to use the cash on some of our expenses - scooter hire, laundry service, mini bar. Wifi was patchy.

We enjoyed staying at this Villa. The room was comfortable, the bathroom stylish, and we really enjoyed the private pool. The service deserves a callout - everyday they coordinated when would be the best time to make the room and they had an exceptional attention to detail. The staff is really excellent.

A couple details kept it from being perfectly relaxing for us. The nightly loud praying at a nearby mosque was distracting. I could hear it in our room, often until after midnight. And the 15 minute hike into town without any cabs available was mildly annoying. There are options to rent a scooter everywhere if you are comfortable with that. Breakfast is "included" but espresso and, salmon bagels are extra. Yogurt and eggs and bread were free.

This was my first visit to Lombok Island, and we stayed at Kaela Villa. Although close to the center of the Kuta area, the villa was located in a serene and tranquil area with a lovely atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience to stay in such an open and beautiful villa. The room was kept clean, and the air conditioning and facilities were excellent. The open shower was also very comfortable. The most impressive feature for us was the beautiful private pool; taking a dip in the pool first thing in the morning felt refreshing and was the perfect start to a great new day. Meals were healthy and delicious. The staff was very courteous, and despite our limited English, we were able to communicate our orders through WhatsApp, which made our stay smooth and free from language barriers. Thank you for a truly marvelous stay. We look forward to staying again when we return to Lombok Island!

The villa was beautiful. The garden and the pool were well maintained and private. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The outside bathroom was lovely. Would thoroughly recommend.

The only negative was that it felt a little dangerous walking along the main road part especially at night. The cars and bikes seem unaware of pedestrians and there is hardly any room to get off the road. It was only a short distance and then you could cut through a smaller side road to get into the town.

There was about a 5cm gap on top of the door so mosquitos and other insects frequently invaded our room Also the space could have been a bit more open. With the walls it felt a bit like in prison

Kalea Villas was the perfect escape after the chaos of Tokyo. So quiet and peaceful — exactly what I needed to unwind. The villa was super clean and had such a calming vibe. The host was really nice and easy to talk to, and breakfast showed up right on time every morning, which was a great touch. Honestly, it felt like the perfect little reset. Would totally go back!
