I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Chela and would recommend anyone visiting Kumbakonam. The hotel is centrally located making it extremely convenient for travellers. It is just a short distance from local temples, restaurants, shopping areas and popular restaurants. The rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained offering comfortable experience. The Hotel Manager Shahul Hameed was courteous and helpful. His assistance made a huge difference. I truly appreciate his hospitality. I will definitely stay there on my next visit

Good location, close to all major attractions. Good value for money, good rooms with functional AC and facilities. Cannot ask for more. Good service too.

Staff at reception desk is not friendly or smiling, which is odd, this is not to say anything wrong with service. The staff is just to-the-point. Can do a bit more in making the guests feel welcome just by a simple smile.

Wonderful hospitality. Beautiful location. Friendly front office staff and my grandson insists that we should never stay in another hotel while visiting Kumbakonam next time. If maintenance part of electrical and plumbing is paid little more attention, a heven to stay.
