The hotel is placed close to the Danube river, which one can admire from the restaurant or the beautiful terrace. The restaurant is nice, the breakfast is varied and good. They have a pancake machine, which was the kid's delight 😊. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the room temperature was perfect (without the use of AC). The bathroom was spotless and big. The staff was nice and polite but not exceedingly warm😅 hosts. We travel through Germany every year and we always stop at Ibis Styles Regensburg. It never disappointed😊

The hotel was very close to the centre and our room had a beautiful view. The room had what we required. Breakfast was good with a good variety. The bar area and outside area is exceptionally nice for an evening drink. The price for our stay was very good also. I would recommend this hotel

Would have like to have known there was a 24 hour water station available in the dining area. The room cooler didn’t really cool the room but opening the window worked. There is a fly screen do no mosquitoes.

There was a kids' activity room which had some fun stuff for children, and a small but nice playground outdoors. The kids got a free little gift on arrival too. The breakfast was amazing and made the room much better value. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite.

The car park costs 12 euros per day, which was not made very clear on the profile page, and seems excessively expensive. Most hotels we have been to have free parking, if they have a parking lot.

The location is fantastic, though for some people slightly outside the inner city, on the Danube banks, off the main road may not be optimal. The city centre is a few minutes drive away, by the way. By the hotel you can also find a bike trail heading for the city, resp. away from it. The terrace is wonderful (creative and modern), overlooking the Danube. It's very pleasant both in the evening and in the morning. One should watch out though that the rooms exactly above may not be as quiet in the evening, until the guests retire to their rooms. My mother was situated exactly above, but the sound coming in from the outside was still okay. Breakfast was great, with plenty of options. We totally enjoyed the pancake making machine. In general the hotel was very tidy and nice, and with a fresh modern appealing look. I signed up for membership upon leaving, was so delighted about it. We even got some drinks as a present.

This is not a complaint specific for this hotel, as we've encountered this with all others we've stayed at on our vacation, but I certainly didn't like paying for parking...

Beautiful location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Amazing staff. Everything was spot on. Great value for money.

The one thing that could be improved is the parking. If you made the spaces a bit bigger and took away a few spaces that would be fantastic. It’s too tight for the big cars people drive and there were so many empty spaces as you could not fit another car in the space. Just a small change would make a huge difference.

The hotel was extremely pleasant, modernly furnished, well-equipped, everything was neat and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. We were surprised by the bar and terrace within the hotel, and most of all by the children's playroom where our children could spend time (5 and 9 years old). The breakfast included in the price is outstanding, and the dinner we could order also met our expectations. The location is great for those who do not like city crowds, as it is on the outskirts of the city. It is particularly convenient for those taking a break during a journey, as it is close to the highway.

The only thing we didn't like was the large number of wasps/bees, which linger on the terrace and make the stay difficult. We noticed that this is a common occurrence in Germany, there are a lot of wasps and bees even in the cities.

That's the third time we stayed in this hotel, and as usual was very pleasant. The breakfast was great, very diverse and with the great pancake machine, the kids love it.

Unfortunately despite of asking to not have feather pillows in the room (my husband and kid are allergic) , 3 out of 4 were feathers. That's not really nice. I could have complained of course, but after 12 hours on the road and in the last day of the year, the only thing we wanted it was to rest. We just put away the feather pillows and that's all.

Everything. The location was awesome, along side the canal. During Breakfast we could sit outside and enjoy the delicious breakfast buffet. The chair arrangement in the courtyard was amazing. The rooms were very clean and big enough. The staff was so friendly, attentive and caring. Such amazing people are hard to find. From the hotel we could walk along side the canal and went to an Indian restaurant across the bridge. There was lots of parking too. For such an amazing stay, the price was good too. For a group of 4 people & a toddler, we paid about €230 for 2 rooms with breakfast per night.

Breakfast was great, beds confortable and hotel very clean. Staff was very friendly.

Upon arrival, we booked 30 mins before arriving, we were told that there is no hot water. Bearing in mind that we came there almost at midnight and this was presented as a given fact upon the check in (giving us the option to take the room or not) we didn't really have the chance to say "Hey no, we are leaving with a kid at midnight to search for another hotel". While I completely understand that those are unexpected situation, they could have informed us at the moment of booking or show a bit of sympathy while offering a small discount, not charging the parking, something...Otherwise we have no remarks, but this left a bitter aftertaste.

The breakfast was quite nice and rich. We took the bus from the railway station and got off at the stop close to the hotel in 15 minutes. From here we walked 8-10 minutes to reach the hotel. You can reach the touristic places by walking along the riverside. You can reach the historical bridge in 20-25 minutes.

The room could have been a little bigger. Since we had an extra baby cot, the space was a bit narrow.
