Fabulous accommodation well located to get into the centre of Rome- whilst also far enough away to escape the crowds and benefit from a pool. Get the 8 tram 5-8 minute walk away to get to Piazza Venezia (centre of Rome) in about 20 mins costing €1.50 each way for adults and children 10+ . Get the H bus to get to Termini in about 40 mins. Pool is small which was perfect for us to have a dip and a cool off after a busy half day sightseeing- also is proportionate to the property- never overcrowded. Staff always available to help and just a WhatsApp message away if you need anything.

We recently stayed at the Livia Valeria Palace for 5 nights during our trip to Rome. The room we had was spacious, clean, and modern. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially Manuel who provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. While the location is 30 min from the city center, it wasn't a major issue as the tram 8 stop was just a short walk away.

Very nice accomodation about 4km outside of Rome city center with tram no 8 stop and bus stops at about 400m walking distance. We stayed with 4 people (2 teenagers) for 1 week in the apartment under the roof, with 2 bedrooms. The rooms are new, well maintained, spacious, with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The air condition worked very well so even with 36 degrees outside the rooms were cool. A kettle, 4 glasses and 4 mugs were provided. We brought our own plates, forks, spoons etc. A supermarket (Carrefour express) is close by (ca 750m) as well as a few restaurants. Nice pool, quiet garden and good breakfast. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We definetely recommend this place.

Hidden Gem, fabulous place... owner very friendly and very helpful. Abigail very friendly and met us on arrival and very helpful with given us a map and directions to get to the best spots.. there is bus and trams just 5 minutes walk... place is absolutely gorgeous, lovely peaceful and quiet... will definitely be booking in with them again... my husband and boys loved the place... don't think about it just book it... it will exceed your expectations.. the staff go above and beyond to help you.. A few minor things that might be tweaked but that don't really affect the comfort of the stay: no ventilation in the bathroom, no towel racks, lots of light switches some of which don't work and/or seem redundant

The Livia Valeria Palace offers a very unique, boutique experience in Rome. The rooms are new, tasteful, clean and of good size, in a beautiful landscaped garden, that surrounds the classy mansion. Contactless check in went smoothly, following the clear instructions provided. The small swimming pool is an added bonus, if you want to avoid spending some of the heat hours in Rome and keep the kids busy. They charge a 20 eur deposit for each pool towel, which is kind of insulting, considering that you are paying more than 250 per night and you are most likely not into stealing used pool towels, but I guess it's policy. Breakfast was ok, good coffee, but not much selection, apparently due to the small number of guests. The hotel is far from the centre and you need to walk for 7-8 minutes to get to the tram stop. The ride to the centre is roughly 20 minutes, but often waiting time at the tram stop can exceed 15 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi ride to the Vatican costs around 19-20 eur. If you dont mind the distance from the centre, the Livia Valeria Palace is an overall very good choice.

New and very nice and quiet apartments in the hotel garden. Nice terrace to each apartment. We appreciated the quiet area outside city center. Very nice and helpful staff. Located in a residential area. Tram 8 nearby goes directly to Rome center. Bus 773 5min to very good supermarket Carrefour and bus 228 to restaurant area. Bus H nearby goes directly to Termini train station where the airport connections stop.

The only reason for not giving it a "10-rating" would be that the kitchen is not so well equipped. No wine glasses and only one "sharp knife". And main reason ... no coffea-machine ... only water-boiler.

The apartment we had was very nice and practical because I was with a baby. The basic stuff you need are already there and I really love how they keep the apartment clean and changed the towels everyday. The staff is exemplary good! Abigail was really accommodating and answered all our questions and requests so fast. If you would like to know tips and tricks in Rome, Andrea would be very nice to help you. He pointed us a bistro which the pasta and well, everything was deliciously made! I love our place because its outside the busy area. When you are in Rome, expect you will walk a lot. But the public transport stops are accessible in their area, especially the tram. Easy to remember where we need to go and how to go back at the place. So thankful for this experience and highly recommended for people who would like to explore Rome with a comfort place to stay. Oh especially for families!

The place is amazing and very quiet, so if you are looking for a relaxing holiday weekend this is your perfect spot. The apartments are very elegant as well and perfect for a couple. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You are 1 hour and 30 minutes walk away from the city centre(colosseum)/Vatican City. You can also get the bus/tram to these locations for a very cheap price and only 9 mins walk. Highly recommended!

The shower kept dripping and making an annoying sound but with the door shut you couldn’t hear it so it wasn’t a big deal.

Everything was perfect. I do not have one single thing that i can say was bad. 10/10. We vere very satisfied. The staff, especially at the reception, are extremely nice. We were shocked because it's not usual for us in our country. We had privacy in the accommodation, so that is a big plus. There is also a small kitchen in the apartments, so we could also cook. Another big plus. The huge comfortable bed was a real advantage since we were on our feet from morning to night in Rome. When we come back to Rome, we will definitely come here again.
