This newly opened resort has really made an effort for the guests, and compared to other resorts in the area that claim to be 5 star this actually is. What set them apart are the service level and the staff that go the extra mile for you without even asking, and the food that is of consistently high quality. The resort is also beautifully designed, the rooms as well as the lobby and the main restaurant. It’s very quiet with very few families with kids, which is nice for the other guests visiting. If you’re into snorkeling, this is the place for you. From the hotel’s own jetty you have access to the most spectacular coral reef and you can swim far in either direction with the permission of the life guard. Besides the vast abundance of all kinds of fish, we even saw the Red Sea turtles.

Not a big thing, but the resort is very remote and you can’t really go anywhere besides the suggested tours and excursions you can book. The beach is nice but it’s a bit tricky to swim without swimming shoes on. Which is the downside of having a large house reef on your doorstep, but the reef definitely makes up for it and I would chose this again over a beach with just sand. The breakfast could use some improvement, perhaps depending on your taste. They really focus on pastries and white sugary bread, and I find it strange that a five star resort can’t cook anything containing eggs without making it so dry it’s almost impossible to eat. With all this said, this is for sure one of the top resorts in the area and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

We spent a wonderful week at this resort. The resort is brand new and features one buffet restaurant and two à la carte restaurants (one Italian and one Asian). There is a large selection and variety of food available at all meals throughout the day. The different bars are always open, serving delightful and refreshing cocktails and juices. All areas are cleaned regularly and thoroughly. There are three different swimming pools, and some rooms have a private pool in front of them. It is convenient that the distance from one end of the resort to the other is not too far, so you don't have to spend a lot of time walking to get to the restaurant or the beach. The beach is equipped with numerous beds and umbrellas. It has a dedicated bar with excellent service. The sand is very clean and is reset every evening by rolling for the next day. Access to the sea is via the beach until the jetty is completed. I think it will take a few more months to finish. The underwater scenery in front of the beach is very nice, but if you enjoy snorkeling, I would recommend arranging excursions with the diving center. They are well equipped and very experienced. We went on four excursions: one from the beach and three by boat. The hotel staff is very kind (a special thanks to the waiter Ahmed). We were always in contact with the receptionist via WhatsApp for any needs. If we take another trip to Marsa Alam, we will definitely return here!

This is an all-inclusive resort and absolutely brand new (opened in April 2024). The aesthetics of this resort is beyond beautiful - we took so many photos and uploaded them onto Instagram!! Every staff member was exceptionally nice (shoutout to 23 y/o kickboxer Mohamed and bartender Farouk at the first pool and hookah preparers Haithem, Ahmed and Hassan in their beachfront Bedouin tent). My friend and I loved the breakfast at Boscage (main restaurant) - it's a mix of local goodies (beans, eggs, breads, cheeses, yogurts). There were options to eat at other restaurants (Basilco Italian and some other Asian restaurant), but the main restaurant food/buffet was excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I loved the swim-up bar at the second pool because there was a DJ from the "animation team" that took our requests. The infinity pool is cool to lay out and enjoy the sun. The reception is absolutely accommodating (thanks for using WhatsApp for easy communication) - I love them all! The housekeepers and luggage folks were really helpful too. I would stay at this Resort again, and definitely recommending it to friends/family. Thank you for an experience that is one to remember!!

There definitely needs to be mosquito repellent candles at every table on the terrace. Every room should automatically come with mosquito repellent sprays versus spending $5 at the pharmacy to buy one. Also, I didn't like that no one from "animation" came to talk to us until the last few hours of our stay. It may have been because the entertainment was catered to a European demographic (we're Arabic Speaking Americans), but felt that was awkward when they passed our table just to talk to the European couple next to us or across from us. Aside from that though, I always felt very welcome at the resort! This would not deter me from booking here again!

The staff is so friendly and is always keen to make our stay a delightful one,, the whole resort (the room, pool, reception, bathrooms ..) is very clean. Special thanks to Abanoub and Mahmoud from the reception team who were very understanding of our special requirements which made our stay a remarkable experience that exceeded our expectations .. Sunrise anjum was a perfect summer holiday. We had such a great experience. We booked a junior pool suite which came with a private pool. It’s fantastic for couples who want a little extra privacy as the room is located on the corner. The Italian food is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten, i have to highly recommend to eat there! The international buffet always has a large variety of food to suite everyone’s taste, and is always top quality. This is the first resort we have seen who have a late night snack buffet option, 1am-5am. It’s a brilliant options for those who are staying up late. The beach is out of this world. You can snorkel at the hotel beach and enjoy the beautiful coral views. Literally our first time seeing such a beautiful blue lagoon. Would advise to bring swimming Shoes. The hotel vibes and decor is super chic, elegant and minimal with a relaxing feeling. The staff in this hotel are just exceptional. Literally from the moment we arrived we were looked after. They literally look after everything and anything you need. They are efficient in their customer service and I could not fault them. Mohamed Gaber the Quality Manager manager has made our stay enjoyable,he really made us feel home. Abdel Salem took care of everything before our arrival. I had WhatsApp communication with them all and they were very prompt in replying and meeting our requests for our stay. Bassem, Mohamed Jamal, Omar Ibrahim Mohsin, Saad and Samy in catering always went above and beyond to take care of us during breakfast lunch and dinner. We always had a great laugh with them. Samy was the kindest soul and we always loved seeing him around. Our house keeper Mahmoud was always helpful and attended to us everyday to see if we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday.

Everything was 10/10, From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted with very good hospitality, the staff were nothing but welcoming, giving us chocolate and biscuits and fresh juices. After we were seated we quickly got put rooms and were escorted to the restaurant for lunch, the lunch was 10/10 with very high expectation there is a womderful restaurant on the beach italian with surf and turf and very tasty creme brulee. The buffet always has everything you need and if u need a soecial request they will accomodate your needs. The staff are all very friendly always catering to your needs and asking if yoy need anything. Everything was far from perfect and the staff were also so sweet

The staff are all super kind and helpful in everything. From accommodating last minute late checkout requests to the smallest details such as providing us with a special small bath for my 7 month old baby. The rooms are clean and spacious, we had a two bedroom family room and it was perfect for our family.

I cannot say anything negative about the resort and it’s hospitality, but would suggest not to make use of NLT Limousine service found in the hotel lobby, not only is the service limited, but Mr Mustafa is extremely rude in his approach with guests. Leaving us in a very difficult situation with a small baby risking to be late for our return flight home whilst he screams at us after mistaking our transfer. Luckily the resort management was very helpful in trying to help us solve the issue.

The food was brilliant, with a large selection we didn't get bored of the food even after 7 days. Great salads, breads, dips, hot/cold foods, desserts and drinks means you can eat as healthy as you want, or stuff yourself like a pig because it's holiday and why not. The staff go out of their way to make sure you're having a great stay and they are all super friendly and welcoming. They really try hard to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy. We took the honeymoon suite but found it a bit noisy by the pool bar, so they found us a new room with absolutely no hesitation which was great. They also went out of their way to make sure we were fed and had a lunchbox for our trip home on the last day. The facilities are all very nice and clean, the pools are heated which was great since we went at the end of winter, great drinks service around the pool and at the beach. Housekeeping was also excellent, keeping not just the room but also the paths and hallways very clean. We went as a couple but it's also good for people with kids. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it

It's a bit isolated and takes an hour from Marsa Alam airport to get there by taxi. There's nothing in the area within a short travel time from the hotel to visit (it's a 5 hour drive one way to Luxor for example). You can take day trips snorkelling or diving but otherwise you're pretty much just in the hotel, which is totally fine because it's great, but just be aware of that. We found the animators and loud music around the pool bar every couple hours a bit irritating and had to change rooms because of it. The other pools and the beach are much more relaxed though. There was also an unfortunate bit of construction work going on next door, but it wasn't noisy for the whole time and couldn't be heard everywhere.

I had a fantastic stay at Sunrise Anjum! The aesthetic of the hotel is stunning, with beautifully designed spaces that create a relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, offering a great variety of delicious dishes. The beach was perfect—clean, well-maintained, and ideal for unwinding. The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff making sure everything was just right. I also loved the massage experience—it was truly relaxing and professional.

The only small downside was the laundry service, which took longer than expected. It wasn’t same-day but rather delivered late the following night. While not a major issue, a quicker turnaround would be appreciated.

Expérience en famille – Test d’hôtel Our arrival at the hotel immediately set the tone: a quick, professional check-in with a warm welcome. A small but much-appreciated gesture: a welcome drink served with a delicate macaron that delighted the whole family. The staff kindly invited us to enjoy breakfast while our rooms were being prepared — a smooth early check-in that allowed us to start our stay on the right foot. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. The selection isn’t enormous, but it’s intentional: every product is fresh, high-quality, well presented, and frequently replenished. At a time when people value quality over quantity, this was exactly what we were looking for. Then, a wonderful surprise: we were upgraded to a swim-up room. Sheer joy on little Henri’s face (and on ours too, to be honest!). The room lived up to the great first impression: spotless, well laid-out, clean, and welcoming. Another lovely detail: the gentleman in charge of housekeeping personally introduced himself and assured us we could reach out to him for anything we needed. That kind of personal touch really makes a difference. Of course, we couldn’t resist a dip in the private pool. Henri jumped right in, and that first moment together in the water was simply perfect. Later on, we walked down a few steps to discover a peaceful little bar beside the adults-only pool — a quiet haven to relax for a while. There, Khalid prepared delicious cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). He even made a special effort for Henri, which truly touched us. Thank you, Khalid! For lunch, we headed to the à la carte Basilico restaurant. The beginning felt a bit off: the ambiance was cooler than the rest of the hotel, and the order taking was a bit confused (dishes before drinks?). We briefly wondered if staff roles were properly coordinated. But quickly, the service picked up pace and warmth. The team stepped in with more flow and friendliness.
