The room had a great view of the mountain. Ample parking during our stay. Very good and friendly staffs. Front desk was very helpful. The room was huge with a lot of storage spaces and wardrobes. The temperature of the room was warm and toasty. Because we booked through booking.com, we got to use Shahdaq hotel's moroccan bath, gym, pool and sauna, which was amazing. The building is quite close to main shahdaq skiing area (less than 5 minutes drive) and there is a bus that goes picks you up every hour.

The kitchen didn't have basic cooking ingredients like salt, pepper, oil. I had to bring my own to cook up some meals. The TV was not a smart TV so we couldn't use it to watch netflix / youtube. Also the in-house gym was closed when we were staying there.

This hotel is an excellent and economical choice in Shahdag. Before booking, I was unsure whether to stay here or opt for the Shahdag Resort and Spa Hotel. However, since the same group owns both properties, I decided to go ahead with this one, and it turned out to be a great choice. As an apartment hotel, it is ideal for large families, offering both comfort and convenience. The location is also a plus, just a 7-10 minute walk from Shahdag Resorts and the Coaster Ride. While the hotel's restaurant is on the pricier side, it offers a diverse selection of dishes with excellent taste. Additionally, the service was commendable. Sardak was very helpful in ensuring we got a first-floor apartment, as I had requested, the next day.

I was quite surprised that neither the hotel nor the resorts provide air conditioning during winter, even when needed. During my stay on March 29th, 2025, my room temperature reached around 30 degrees, making it uncomfortably warm. When I raised this issue with the receptionist, I was advised to keep the balcony door open to cool the room down. Unfortunately, the outside temperature was still 27 degrees, so it took a considerable amount of time to lower the room temperature. While this might be a temporary workaround, it is not an ideal solution. All rooms should be equipped with an automatic temperature control system, allowing guests to adjust the climate to their comfort.

I was amazed that hotel was constructed with the best amenities, I didn't quite like the bed and pillows, maybe I am used to my own bed, that's why.. Overall everything was great but these two points I mentioned. I would like to advise them to work harder on the service (but the reception was really great!)

The amenities were great, the room was good, but I'd like to ask the cleaning staff to be more neat for the accurate guests like me. There was a restaurant - Alov - was a full disappointment. The bread was old, they brought us tea after several reminders in the end (!!!) of the breakfast. If you want to have a breakfast, leave the hotel and have breakfast in the village or other place, but not Alov itself. Just advice for those who check out, be careful to pack everything with you, I have left my blouse there, and it was gone in minutes. Called to ask to take it, but no luck.

Only, real and huge problem of the property and the reason i am giving 7 is that it is very hard to sleep there. I think they fighting the damp and you know ventilation in bathroom which in most cases works for few minutes after you have a shower? It is quite loud and they made it contantly on. So both me and my friend had trouble sleeping. Then I asked at desk they told it is like this any room. So how good is the property where everything is amazing, but you have hard time to sleep?.. Addition: originally I put 7 because of this problem. yet, rep of the hotel called me and promised that problem will be fixed and asked very kindly to put at least 8, they also promised to fix the problem. I gave up, put them 8, please check if they fix it.

My stay at Gaya Residences was truly exceptional. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a relaxing stay. The location is ideal for those looking to enjoy Shahdag’s natural beauty, whether for skiing Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Shahdag Residence to anyone visiting the area!

The 2 bedroom suite aparment is really big and spacious. Love so many closet spaces and the balcony which oversee the shahdag coasted. Staff is also friendly n helpful. I forgotten the name of the staff who helped as checked in & out but he was very helpful.

Nothing much except it doesnt have a hair dryer but luckily I packed my own. Dishwashing soap u have to get your own as well. Need a bit of understanding on how to operate the microwave but not a major issue. A manual would have been nice on how to work the kitchen equipment.

Location is amazing. Very near the slopes. Shuttle bus runs every hour and takes you straight to slopes. Kitchen amenities are available so we cooked our own food. Very clean and all five-star facilities. Swimming pool and spa were included in the price which was a huge plus. Staff were very helpful and were able to communicate in english. We will definitely come again

If you are looking for a kitchen and studio for a stay, this is the perfect place in Shahdag. You get complimentary access to the hotel spa and swimming pool.

TV was not smart TV, not great concierge service. NO in-house play area or recreational space. For travel you are dependent on shuttle service which is on hourly basis. Restaurant does not serve breakfast in the morning.

The Gaya Hotel offers very good value for money — you get spacious rooms and even apartment-style accommodations for a reasonable price. However, the only downside during our stay was the lack of proper room service. The restaurant was not operational, and for breakfast, we were directed to a closed-down restaurant area, which was quite disappointing.
