I had the pleasure of staying at this mountain resort during the summer season, and it was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by incredibly warm and welcoming staff — always attentive, kind, and ready to assist with a smile. The resort’s spa was a true highlight. After a long day of exploring the beautiful nature trails, relaxing in the sauna and enjoying a professional massage felt like heaven. The outdoor jacuzzi with panoramic mountain views was unforgettable. Another major bonus was the food. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But the real culinary gem on the property is UFO Burgers — hands down the best burgers I’ve ever tasted! Juicy, creative, and bursting with flavor — a must-try for anyone staying here. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. Your care and attention to detail made all the difference. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The best bed and pillow on our travel, VERY comfortable to our liking! Wide range of complimentary amenities in the room (e.g. a sewing kit, shaving, etc.) with a fridge and a kettle also. Breakfast was excellent and a lots of choices, and our booking included a SPA to the Shahdag mountain resort, where you catch a bus up (about once an hour) and can enjoy the pool, sauna, etc (although private couple saunas need extra cost and booking). The windows can be opened, and faces the carpark side (away from the ski slopes) but you can still see the mountains! For those staying more than 15 days, they will also assist you with the registration with the government. Lots of food stand choices outside during busy times like the weekend, otherwise can either eat at the restaurant, or catch the bus to Shahdag mountain resort for options.

A number of the receptionists seemed quite rude and dismissive to us when we politely asked about a few questions. One of the receptionist was very helpful and fantastic otherwise.

The hotel is the Centre of all activities at Shahdag. Clean and comfortable hotel. In every room, toilet and bath rooms are separately built, which is a very nice design, especially for families. You may purchase all activities from within this hotel. The hotel has exceeded my expectations being a 3 star hotel and the service is not less than any 4 or some 5 star hotels even. Hotel rooms were spacious with excellent view from every room. Good housekeeping service, Complimentary Coffee/Tea bar in the room. The room decoration/furniture and room facilities exceeded my expectations.

There is no lobby at the hotel as such, but this is acceptable being a 3 star hotel. All the restaurants at the location usually close at around 6.30 pm and afterwards there is just one restaurant (Lezzet Restaurant) within the hotel working till 10:30PM, but unfortunately the food taste here is not up to the mark. You may opt for fast food (burgers, pizza, sandwiches) which is good, but other main courses are not recommended at all. We requested for Chicken Biryani at Lezzat but it was terrible. After sunset, the entire vicinity goes into dark, and there are no lights even outside the hotel entrance, which seems little creepy. You can not even go out for a walk in such an environment if you want

The property is literally at the bottom of the slopes, about 10 meters walk to the ski lift. The slopes can be admired from the restaurant and it makes for an amazing ski holiday location. The staff were friendly and prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that all of our needs were met. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The wifi is reliable and strong. The breakfast has a good variety of food, which was all tasty. There was an opportunity to attend a spa at Zirve's sister hotel Shahdag for free, which was much appreciated. I only wish I knew about it before arriving as swimming costume is required.

The breakfast did not cater for vegans, there was no alternative milk or anything other than fruits and veg. I am not sure they are familiar with the concept of veganism. I would not recommend dinner at the hotel itself, much better to take a short free bus ride to its sister hotel Shahdag where dinner is tastier and service is much better.

The hotel is located on the mountain where all activities are accessible. (Coaster, chair lift, horse riding, paragliding, quad bike, kids play area and many more). All are paid but reasonable price. Rooms were clean and tidy like any good hotel. Coffee and water provided in the room. Hotel staff were so supportive and they fulfilled our requirements. Breakfast was 10/10 with mountain views. Free parking for hotel guests. Very quiet and peaceful in the night.

The single bed width was a little shorter compared to any hotel in Dubai.

It was worth every penny and I believe it's rating should be 3+, maybe 4.5 stars. Everything was super clean. When booking, I was thinking about booking those 5 star resorts there but when I reached there, I was glad that I did not and instead Zirve hotel. It's the central location of Shahdag and even if you stay in those 5 star resorts, you would still have to come here for the activities. Ski resort, roller coaster, everything is just in front of this hotel. Also, the breakfast was awesome too.

Bed and Linen quality can be improved but still it was good though

The resort was located at these spot for conducting winter activities. Property was kept near and clear as well and had numerous 3rd party restaurants providing options to guests

What I did not like is that the property delayed our check in by atleast 3 hours without providing any sort of compensation. Further, the staff is not well equipped to handle a large customer base. One other thing is that we had to move a lot of places just to gather information about one activity. For example for ski we had to move to 3 places just to understand the entire thing

Only for the child buggy as an activity you need to wait for a longer time when it is crowded because they only have two buggies

We were offered to stay in Shahdag hotel instead of Zirve. Our room had beautiful Mountain View and balcony. The room was spotless, with all amenities in perfect working order. The bathroom was spacious, and the hotel provided all the necessary toiletries. All the workers of the hotel were nice, and helpful, always willing to assist with any request. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I highly recommend their room service, as the prices were reasonable and the meals were tasty. For those traveling by car, the hotel offers a large and easily accessible parking area, which was a great convenience. The spa services were another highlight of our stay, particularly the sauna, which was exceptional and well worth trying. Overall, our stay was delightful and memorable, largely due to the excellent facilities and service at the Shahdag Hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future!

The Wi-Fi connection was occasionally weak. I would recommend ordering room service instead of dining at Menzere.
