I loved the staff they were welcoming and very helpful the room was clean and roomy. The views are amazing from the riverfront rooms and the location was awesome. So close to restaurants, bars and the New Year's Eve block party that we came for. We parked the car and never used it again until we left. Oh and the outdoor space is great for sitting and relaxing riverfront.

I didn't like that there was no complimentary coffee or breakfast included for the price of the room for the night.

The hotel facilities and room were very clean. The staff at reception were very friendly and always greeted me or any other guest whenever we walked by. The hostess at breakfast was also very helpful and attentive. The beds were really comfortable and spacious. The gym was also very spacious and the windows with shades were great!

Breakfast was decent and could’ve been better. The gym felt a little too warm even before working out.

The location is absolutely perfect for walking all around the area. Whether you are there for shopping, dining, or visiting the Tryon Palace, it is an easy walk from the hotel. In addition, the view of the harbor from the room is beautiful. Parking is FREE. This is typically unheard of in historic areas.

We really enjoyed the location. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Another bonus was that free parking was available. That doesn't happen at many hotels anymore especially in a downtown area.

There is nothing that we didn't like. The rooms were clean and comfortable plus the added bonus of the hotel being extremely dog friendly.

Great location! Beautiful view of the harbor. The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet. I didn’t hear any other guests. They had the best pillows! Downtown was an easy walk to restaurants and coffee cafes.

The rooms had wall units HVAC units controlled by thermostats, but it either got very cold or felt extremely stuffy.

I'd asked for a menu for a room service, I called the restaurant and the staff asked me to call the lobby staff and when I called the lobby staff they asked me to call the restaurant. I called them up twice and received same response. I ended up calling Uber Eats to deliver foods for us.

The waterfront view and overall property is amazing. I enjoyed my stay but for the price, I was expecting more to be provided. The rooms are nice but do appear to be outdated for the amount you are spending per night.

The ceilings when walking appears to be a little lower for someone on the tall side.

Front desk staff were very helpful in accommodating our group with rooms close to each other. Room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the marina. Location was perfect….just a short walk to downtown and convenient for a walk along the river and through the historic home area.

The food choices in the restaurant were limited and the dinners were not very good. Short ribs were very greasy and potatoes were cold. Chicken fingers were tiny. I realize hotel meals aren’t usually great, but these were really not very good, yet still pricey.

There is a lack of bell carts for guest use to ease the physical burden of luggage to and from room upon arrival and departure. I only saw one during our stay and was never able to use it. There are no ice machines on guest floors which is fine. The ice is pre-packaged and available near the check-in desk where the little snack shop is. It's perfectly fine but was not communicated at arrival and check-in. I think all of the rooms should have a small fridge and microwave rather than a selection of rooms. It would be a great perk for every guest rather than just some guests.

Minor inconveniences, our safe never worked despite asking twice for it to be fixed, room never was cleaned in 3 nights, just received a pile of towels once, despite requesting service.
