I had a wonderful stay at The Harvey! I think I was one of the first people to stay at the hotel when it opened. Check in was seamless and I was able to go straight to my room upon arrival. Everything was luxuriously appointed and first class. Would definitely stay again!

This place is absolutely beautiful and convenient to all the downtown shops and restaurants! It was exceptionally clean and inviting! The decor is gorgeous! Loved the little touches like the candy, nuts and water when we arrived. Has a small drink fridge and coffee maker. They do have an ice machine on the second floor which also has water. There is a supply closet on the third floor that has all the extras you may need like tower fans, towels, blankets, and so much more. I love that there are only 10 rooms so you don’t get all the noise like you do when staying at a bigger hotel. So quiet. Communication is done by text messaging which I loved. They responded to my questions almost immediately. You are provided a code for the main entrance as well as your room before arrival. Check in time was 4pm however we were notified that our room was ready at 1pm and we were able to check in then. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again. There are just so many great things about the Harvey to list. If you’re looking for a place to stay, look no further. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

The accommodations were lovely. I was very comfortable in the room. The bathroom was well-appointed and spacious. I had plenty of pillows and the big bed to myself.

I have a problem with the coffee makers in hotel rooms. I am a tea drinker and have never drank coffee. Since I usually travel with my tea bags, I can get hot water to steep my tea. Having a Keurig in the room is not conducive to making a nice cup of tea. There's a coffee "shadow" that comes through even when you use the machine to make hot water. I would love for these boutique hotels to understand that there are many tea snobs who travel and do not want to make their morning tea through a machine that is used for coffee. I have left similar reviews for other boutiques. IMHO an electric kettle would be a great addition to your rooms. Elevate yourself and cater to the other hot beverage drinkers of the world. Also, Nespresso makes better coffee and you can recycle the pods.

This place is gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. My 81 year old mom stayed here for one night and wanted to stay forever. It is very elegant and you will feel like you are a celebrity! Everything we encountered was contactless and I'm not sure if there is a front desk or anything - and she had no need for anything so she didnt need to find out. She did leave an article of clothing behind and the staff promptly let us know and were quick to return it us. They were very helpful regarding making the reservation for the kind of room my mom would need and also when we weren't quite sure if she would be able to come after all - so glad she could. I was thrilled to be able to treat my mom to such an experience as that room!

No improvement that I know of! I wish I could clone the decor and move it to my home.... wow.

I loved the experience! The room was beautiful! It was easy check-in, I loved the balcony, the walkability, the fact that there was a good place to park and you never had to move again. Oh and the shower! It was fabulous and so were the toiletries that were provided. There were welcome gifts and a sound machine. I also appreciated the ice/water machine on the second floor.

Nothing to complain about here. I would tell other guests to be prepared for the steps though. Pack light if you aren't on the first floor.

Beautifully decorated and equipped room - recently completely refurbished and quite exceptional. Quiet. Ample free parking.

This is a room only guest house. It is not a B&B - nor a hotel. There is no bar and no restaurant. No breakfast. There were no staff present at any time during our one night stay. Check in and check out is supposed to be done by internet, but for us this just did not work. When things do not work you have to try to contact the hotel management by SMS. There is no phone number to call. In fairness to The Harvey, their website describes it as an e-boutique hotel, and some may say everything I have said above is obviously what an e-boutique hotel is. I think that they could be much clearer.

Superior accommodations plus proximity to restaurants and bistros.

It was easy to find, even at night Ease of arrival and access to room couldn’t have been smoother. I have never stayed in a hotel or boutique that was this clean and comfortable, and I have stayed at Ritz’s around the world.

I would like more counter space around the sink in the bathroom. I travel with face care, hair care, and styling products and more surface space to put belongings would make this over the top!

The building is full of so much history. Our room was large, with our own fireplace and beautifully decorated and maintained. The staff was very cheerful and helpful when they were on site. There’s no check-in desk so you simply use the code to enter the building and then your room. The location was also very convenient for walking into downtown for meals and shopping.

I hadn’t realized in advance that there would not be an elevator. Had I known, I would have requested a room that was not on the top, third, floor.

absolutely beautiful, 100% clean. speaking as a previous housekeeper, and a regular traveler, I have never once walked into a property and a room and been 100% satisfied with the cleanliness. There was not a single thing out of place. We will be back!

plug in bathroom did not work- we were only staying 1 night so I did not have the chance to report it. Did have to blow dry my hair at the desk in room.
