There is a deck on the 13th floor (the same as the lobby floor and where meals are served) where you can have a drink and admire the views. Our room was well equipped with an air-conditioner and plenty of lotions, moisturisers, and other skin care products. This hotel is an eco hotel, only doing a full room makeover every 3rd day but changing towels and rubbish every day (assuming you use the correct door magnetic sign). The staff were friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage before checkin and after checkout as well as helping with arranging our taxi. We enjoyed the free drinks, including the different coffees, hojicha tea, and the daily tea recommendation, which was rooibos tea on one day and apple tea the other. They have a laundry room with two washing/drying machines that are on one floor and a vending drinks machine on another.

The room did not have its own telephone, so if you needed assistance, you would have to head towards the elevators where the only floor telephone is. The hotel is not serviced 24 hours so if something happens during the night, you would have to wait until 5 AM the next morning.

I stayed there for three nights. The hotel is conveniently located close to the station and it takes approximately 20-30 minutes by foot to Kenroku-en. A bus is going from the station as well. The room was very clean with all amenities and quiet. I very much liked the wall decoration in the style of washi paper, gave the room a cozy and a little luxury appearance. The breakfast with local specialities is awesome and you should definitely try it when staying there! But what I liked the most were the friendly and extremely helpful staff members. They helped me with every question I had and especially with timing and shipping a parcel to Haneda airport. Again, thank you very very much.

Very close to the kanazawa train station but a bit far off from the rest of the sites. But still, we had no problem walking. The room was quiet even though the tracks are just outside the window. Free coffee/hot cocoa etc. on the 13th floor. Overall we were happy with our 2 nights stay.

The food/7-11 options that are close by are in the train station. Otherwise there's not many choices but to head a bit into the city center It's a bit weird that the reception is on the 13th floor but not an issue at all.

The hotel is only 10 minute walk from the station. The room seems to be small at first but it is clean and has everything you need, even a coffee/ tea machine, very comfortable. It is very near the railway but for me the noise is acceptable. The staff is friendly and supportive. Although we checked out in the morning, our train schedule was late in the afternoon, we could leave our luggage there to go out and get back later, it's so helpful. I feel lucky to have booked this hotel, my family members felt also comfortable staying at this hotel.

Perfect hotel, location was ok, breakfast could be a little different. We stayed 2 nights, and perhaps they could have done breakfast 1day japanese, one day continental or have two choices... sometimes people can't eat anything (because some dislike fish), especially so early in the morning. The corridors were a little dirty, but the rooms were spotlessly clean.

Hotel was very close to the train and bus stations, and made it very easy to go on day trips. The facilities and amenities offered in the hotel room and public areas were fantastic. Comfortable bed and clean. Bathroom was larger than most in Japan. Stayed in a room facing away from the train tracks so barely heard any noise from the trains.

5 minutes walk to the station, it was super easy to get to and make my way around the city on the loop bus. The staff were very friendly and let me store my luggage both before and after my stay so I could explore before leaving. They’re also very eco friendly. The room itself was fantastic. I loved the decor and spacious bathroom.

Location is great, around a 5 to 7 minutes walk from the train station, and a 4-minute walk to nearby convenient store. Bedroom is very well cleaned and has no unpleasant smell. Staff is decent and helpful.

Due to its location, it's inevitable to hear a bit of the railway noice.

Great view from 13th floor where they have their reception as well. Free coffee and tea also available, so one can sit there and enjoy the view with their free drink. We sat there for an hour or so as we had nothing to do while waiting for the next shinkansen.

Staff is not that great, some are kind and professional but some are not. When I requested them to make a change to my booking, I straightaway got a very RUDE "dekimasen" which means cannot do in Japanese. I called again to say that I booked via Booking.com then the same person asked me to wait and he could change the dates. Also, on checkin I am guessing it was the same guy who looked in a rush for us to understand all the details, felt a little awkward. Location is a bit far from station. 8-10 mins if moving with a heavy luggage.

Great location.. easy walk to train station and two great shopping centres. Complimentary coffee machine on the 13th floor. Nice to sit and look at the sites with a hot cuppa. Staff were very helpful and nice .. though limited English.

The pillows were extremely hard (as are most in Japan)
