Great communication with staff via Whatsapp before my visit and other family members' visit the week before. The shuttle makes it so easy to safely get to the hotel and being attached to Mall del Sol, so many food and entertainment options without having to venture into the city in the evening. We frequently travel through Guayaquil to go to Galapagos and this is our first choice option for a hotel. So accessible and amazing breakfast as well.

Location, comfort, cleanliness, attentive service and style... the TRYP by Wyndham Guayaquil Airport has it all. Whether you're on a business trip or relaxing in the tropical weather, this hotel has what you need to make the stresses of your trip melt away. Despite the Canadian government issuing travel warnings to avoid all non-essential travel to Ecuador, at no point did I or my family notice or feel unsafe or uncomfortable, thanks to the professionalism and attentiveness of the hotel's staff. I would happily return anytime I found myself in Guayaquil.

Overall our stay was fantastic, although a few issues did come up: - Not being warned about the scheduled blackout and overnight police curfew for one night of our stay which caused most restaurants to close early - Eating at the hotel's Jaleo bar was poor value for the money - WiFi connection would randomly drop off for a few seconds several times a day - The bathroom only has a waterfall shower, but did not include a shower cap

Close to the airport. Airport transfer arrangement was excellent. Location next to the mall with skywalk connection.

The hotel send link to update guest infomation which is include picture of passport before check in. However they still need the guest's passport to be scan during check in process. And we think that if we already submit information in link, check in process should be faster than the other that did not submit information.

This was my third time staying at this hotel. Staff very nice and you can feel that they are doing their best to make you feel comfortable and to enjoy your stay. Connexion to the shopping mall is just perfect and makes many things so much easier, considering the external factors that may have a negative effect from the security point of view. Will definitely keep this hotel as one of my main options when visiting this city.

Nothing negative to mention from this hotel, its staff, nor the different services they provide. Everything was just right as needed and expected. The staff attention, lobby, restaurant, and mostly in the meeting rooms area was really outstanding.

Great location very close to airport for a stopover for 1 night. The free shuttle service was great we just had to give our flight details for pickup. On our way back to airport they arranged a taxi for free assume the shuttle wasn’t going then. Great service! Buffet breakfast was amazing so many choices. Room was big and comfortable and felt very safe in Guayaquil at this hotel. Also had security outside all hours and key access everywhere felt very safe. Connected to a mall as well so we didn’t even leave the mall/hotel for our 1 night stay. Great price for the place

The air con in the room is inducted so was only an issue when sleeping it would constantly turn on and off automatically but was fine for a night.

Carlos at the front desk was excellent! He was helpful, welcoming, enthusiastic and professional.

There was confusion about how to arrange for a shuttle ride to the Hotel from the airport. I did not see any mention that flight numbers and arrival time needed to be entered on the TRYP website in order to obtain a ride. Luckily, when we called. CARLOS was able to arrange a shuttle ride for us to the hotel and a taxi ride back to the airport for us at 6 am in the morning. In addition, he helped us with a shuttle ride to and from the airport the night we arrived so that I could pick up delayed baggage.

Fabulous facilities, excellent service and convenient location. Rooms are gorgeous and offer everything you need. Top quality!

There was a wedding or party of some sort on the floor below (conference centre area?) and, because of the design of the building (open through the centre between floors) we were subjected to loud music and voices late into the night. Not sure what to suggest, short of sound-proofing the doors to the rooms better but it made it very difficult to sleep. We were there to sleep before an early morning flight (checked out at 4am) so very little rest was had.

I loved that you had lemon flavored water and horchata water outside the rooms. It definitely took my attention.

They wanted to charge 275 usd for each room. 556 usd instead of what the Booking app showed. They said it was because Booking doesn't charge all the taxes in its app. In the end I told them I'm going to cancel my stay but I don't want to be charged anything on my credit card because it was obviously their fault. So the guy accepted the fact of helping me and I got charged what Booking said, except for a "Tourism" tax that costed me nearly 6 usd each and I accepted to pay it because I needed to settle in my room and work. I don't know if booking also charges that tourism tax, but if not you should do it so the price displayed is the one you're going yo pay. No more, no less.

The location. It is very central. Easy to go to anywhere you want to go, in addition to the mall access that the hotel has.

Maybe that at the beginning that we found the restroom of the room was not deep cleaned after usage but after reported they game me another room where the bathroom was in much better condition.

Proximity to airport is a 5 minute drive- excellent! Free shuttle is excellent! Breakfast is pretty good- lots of "continental" options on a large buffet. Room was clean, very comfortable and QUIET!! I paid a little extra for the "Business Floor" (5th floor) which includes a bigger room and apparently people who don't slam their doors in the morning, and don't have LOUD misbehaved KIDS! There was a 24 hour coffee/tea/iced tea, flavored water station on the floor near our room which is very nice. I really enjoyed the steam room which only took about 10 minutes to get going (although it should have been much hotter) and the sauna. The pool area was nice but...screaming kids again. Got terrible service at the bar at the "new" restaurant, so we chose not to eat there. We were going to but the bar service was terrible and to pay $10 for a well vodka soda is ridiculous. VERY good security at the hotel- needed a key card to access almost every space. Overall, a very nice stay in relative comfort for the end of a month-long trip in Ecuador. Were even able to check in early, which was greatly appreciated after a long drive to Guayaquil.
