Orpheus studios and apartments are finished to a very high standard, so we tend to stay there for a few days at the end of our holiday for a little bit of luxury. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with good wifi, aircon, etc. If you have a seaview room, it overlooks the sea between Kos and Turkey, and you can see Kos ferry port to the left (we are ferry spotting nerds!). Orpheus is situated about 15 minutes walk from the harbour, and there are various bars and tavernas nearby. At the front of the property is the Yacht Cafe, and entrance to Orpheus is from the side street. There is a lift in the building, but note that it is very narrow, so you will not be able to get a wheelchair or mobility scooter into it. Otherwise, access is step free throughout. We would like to thank the woman on reception (Marina) for her recommendation regarding which fish restaurant to choose when we went to Mastichari - you were right, Makkis is a great place for sea bass!

Note that there are better self-catering facilities in the apartments. In the studios, you have a kettle, toaster, stovetop, etc, but there isn't much room on the worktop, so you can't use all of these things at the same time. That's fine for a couple of nights, but if you are staying longer and regularly want to make meals, choose an apartment. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the noise from the road in front of the apartment. The road gets quite busy, and the sound travels up, so the balcony has great views but isn't really peaceful.

Beautiful modern apartment, spotlessly clean. Bedding and towels changed regularly. Everything in kitchen you require, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, dishes cutlery, washing up liquid, tea towels etc.

We didn’t dislike anything as it was very well equipped but if we could have added anything it was some coasters for the coffee table as we didn’t want to mark it with hot cups (we used the cutting board and cork pot stand). And although there was a table and chair on each balcony there was plenty of space in the lounge area for a table and chairs there. We were on our last day when it occurred to us that we could have brought one of the tables inside rather than having breakfast on our lap.

Location of the studios is just perfect! It is located in the beautiful area next to the sea, with trees and vegetation offering shade. There is also bicycle track along the way. Shops and restaurants are everywhere around so you can choose among many options. Studios are short walk to all you need to see in Kos city and still in the more quiet area. Our flight was delayed therefore we arrived at the studios around 2am but owner made it very easy for us to pick up the keys. Lady Marina welcomed us next morning and she was so wonderful, gave us many usefull info about the island, where to go, places to visit, great restaurants etc. Don’t trust google, she knows best tips and tricks 😉 The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need during your stay.

We spent two weeks with my wife in this lovely studio accommodation , and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The studio itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which immediately gave us peace of mind. The attention to detail in cleanliness was evident throughout the space, from the spotless bathroom to the fresh linens. One of the highlights was the quality of service provided by the host. They were always friendly, responsive, and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their positive attitude truly enhanced the overall experience. Overall, this studio offered a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and hassle-free stay. We look forward to returning on our next visit!

The apartments are great. We had a room on the 2nd floor, it was clean, spacious with a large balcony. Good air conditioning, large wardrobe, safe, ironing board and iron. Small kitchen with everything you need. It has a cooker, fridge, cooking utensils and coffee machine. Very comfortable beds. Cleaning every day. The location is very convenient. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the centre and 20 minutes to the port. We went to Lambi beach. There are some good restaurants close by. We were greeted very well and given excellent recommendations about Kos. We had a wonderful time on Kos and I would recommend this hotel. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday, would love to come again.

There is no such thing

Disliked nothing, loved everything. Wish the lift was a bit bigger but we also had no problem walking up the stairs, it was a little slippery but again, not a massive problem. Okay onto the positives. What can I say???!!!! This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Kos Town. I did not know what we booked until we got here. It is run by a lovely mother and daughter who are the MOST hospitable hosts. I left some of my belongings in the hotel when we moved on to the next town, and she did not hesitate to suggest a drive down to drop off my things to me. I was beyond touched. Our room was cleaned very well, and I am quite fussy when it comes to cleanliness. The bathroom and the room was spacious. To our delight we had a mini kitchen space which we utilised a lot as we had children. The food recommendations given by the host were top tier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed at Orpheus Studious for 3 days with our family in a sea view room on the 2nd floor. First of all, I would like to mention that we were very well welcomed by friendly Marina at check-in (and also by Elina at check-out) and we received excellent recommendations about Kos from her. The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious, the furnishings are brand new. There is a large wardrobe with a safe, iron and ironing board. The beds are extremely comfortable. There is no breakfast service, but there is a small kitchen with kitchenware, electric stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, in short, everything you need. The location is very good, 10-15 minutes to the island center, about 20 minutes walking distance to the ferry port. Lambi beach, which is frequently preferred by tourists, is 8-10 minutes by bike. There are good restaurants such as Koako, Degli Amici, Yacht Cafe Inn right below the hotel and Olympia, Ali and Hirodion restaurants are very close. I definitely recommend this hotel. By the way, thank you very much for the kind Nespresso and wine offers and everything else, I would love to stay here again when we come back.

Everything was perfect 👌

Nicely modernised and designed rooms, great size and nice and bright with modern fixtures and bathrooms. We regularly stay here on our way to another Greek island as it’s an easy 15/20 mins walk to the port and the rooms are spotlessly clean and relaxing. The owners are lovely and offer to organise your transfer from the airport if desired.

The view from our room could have been nicer but we deliberately picked a standard room with out balcony as we’re there only there for a very short time..the rooms with balconies have nice views whether sea front or countryside.

Beautiful, spacious, clean and very comfortable flat in a similarly high quality building right next to the sea and beach. There was a room for us to wash and change when we left, well after the check-out time.

It was rather far from the centre of Kos town and too far to walk from the ferry to with cases. The room looked out onto the backs of other properties in neighbouring streets and was overlooked by many. The ergonomics of the shower room were poor and should be reconsidered. The lavatory paper holder was broken.
