The rooms are very large, very comfortable beds. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Good book swap area.The choice of breakfast is vast dried fruit, fresh fruit, cheese meats, breads, pastry, salad, yogurt, nuts, smoothie, fresh juice. However limited on the hot food front scrambled egg with meat, fried eggs, potatoes , bacon.I am not vegan but very impressed with the vegan selection I thought I would mention almond and oat milk so a good place for a vegan to have breakfast. However I can't comment on the vegan options for lunch and dinner and I don't take note on that front. I did eat one night at the hotel -burger which was delicious. Lovely to eat Infront of the sea. Part is open for the public to dine and it's a keen spot for the locals too. Very clean hotel.I wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel the only thing I would say is it doesn't have a proper swimming pool which would put off those who prefer a pool over the sea.

I appreciate travelling out of season that some facilities like the pool would not be in use however I was disappointed to find out the sister spa facilities were not available which was not noted in the description this was the reason I paid more to stay here. Please update the description to when facilities are closed. I would not be able to use the pool to swim more like a water feature. I would appreciate some more hot breakfast choice like eggs, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes ect. Would be nice to have netflix just for an added bonus to relax out of season.

All the rooms have a balcony and a nice view. We've stayed here 3 or 4 times and opt for a junior suite. Don't get too excited, but they are a little bigger. The breakfast is good, plus you can eat in a light "verandah" room which also has nice views. The hotel is very well located and is about a 10-15 minute walk from the two ferry piers.

Maintenance could be improved. The electric blind on one side of our room didn't work and the container for the toilet brush was falling off the wall. It didn't bother us, but there is no swimming pool. The hotel is however right on the sea.

The hotel is ideally located between Kos port and Kos marina just a few minutes walk in either direction. This provides easy access to a multitude of food and beverage outlets, the town's castle and boat trips, etc. We had a lovely room, well furnished and fantastic sea view. Good WiFi, TV, and bathroom amenities. Breakfast was an extensive buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold options that could be enjoyed on the restaurant's decked area at the sea's edge. Food was excellent. Hotel staff excellent. I am happy to recommend and hope to return here.

Nothing to dislike, happy with all aspects.

The views, the food in the restaurant especially at lunchtime or in the evening. One of the waitresses in the evening was particularly friendly.

The staff at breakfast are a bit surly. They could smile more. Also the quality of tea and coffee is poor. Lipton teabags are budget teabags and do not taste good. The coffee is also not good even when you pay for a cappuccino or other specialty coffee. This detracts quite a lot from what is otherwise a good quality breakfast.

Everything was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is just perfect - right on the water which I fell into every day for beautiful swims in the ocean. Sitting on the balcony is like sitting on top of the ocean - a magnificent view. Food, staff, helpfullness, cleanliness - all a 10. Going back in september at the end of my trip and hopefully will be back next year!

Only thing - a little more explanation of the restaurants on arrival as I did not realise there was a more casual part for food until later but it was not a big deal.

The view from the rooms is so good that by itself the hotel is worth it. It's just such an unassumingly stunning view. Fully facing the sea, you can see Turkey, you can see the boats come and go...it's perfect. Not sure if all rooms have a view like the one I had, but if so, it's a 10/10 view. Add to it a very kind staff - especially the night manager, who helped me when the room next door sounded absolutely haunted. He entertained my weird story about hearing strangled elephant noises from the other room, even came upstairs with me and explained that it might just be a Greek elderly because his uncle sounded the same. He tried to find me a different room since they had some space, helped me move, and reshuffled a couple of bookings so I wouldn't have to move again. I'm sure it wasn't a great deal of work (super low season, many free rooms), but these little things really set a "normal" hotel stay from a great one. The breakfast selection was also very good, the facilities are fine, clean, and comfortable. No complaints and would recommend.

I suppose if we are nitpicking, the gym room is very very tiny and unequipped. But you're in Kos, just get some weight exercises in and go walk along the beach. You'll be fine! :-)

The hotel is on the beach and you can enjoy the sea or lie on sunbed. The breakfast has a good variety and served till 11 AM We requested a baby crab and it was really useful and comfortable. The room and the balcony were really big enough. Thanks to reception, they upgraded our room to a bigger one because of the baby.

Coffee was not so good in the breakfast, they can also serve cappuccino or frappe. There is no enough space to plug the laptop and work. The staff in the breakfast section were not so friendly.

This hotel is exceptional. This was my second stay in one month and again the location is amazing sitting on top of the ocean, the food and service is exceptional and they really do assist you and help you in every way. My hair was in need of urgent repair and an appointment was made at a great hairdresser for me - just so helpful. My husband was not well and they went out of their way to meet our needs at the time. We will be back - all the way from Australia.

There is not one thing - perfect stay.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks. All rooms have balconies looking onto the Aegean Sea. Such a view to wake up to every morning or even in the evenings to sit and relax. Rooms were big and spacious. Big beds which were nice and comfortable and good pillows. Bathroom was a good size too. Room was kept cleaned every day. Breakfast was included. There was a big breakfast buffet so a lot of choice to choose from. Staff were nice and friendly throughout the hotel. The location is brilliant. Probably around 10 minutes walk to Kos Marina where you will find bars and restaurants. There is also lots of restaurants beside hotel if you don't feel like walking much. When we checked out of hotel the receptionist gave us a little present which I thought was so nice. Definitely recommend Kos Aktis Art Hotel to stay in and will stay again when I visit Kos.

From the moment we stepped into Aktis Art Hotel, we were embraced with warmth and exceptional service. A special shout-out to Denise at the reception – her welcoming spirit set the tone for our wonderful stay. The manager, Thalia, went above and beyond for us, securing a table at a particularly sought-after restaurant in town. This level of personal attention truly made our vacation special. Additionally, the waitstaff were consistently attentive and friendly, with Linsi standing out for her delightful service. We felt genuinely taken care of during our stay.
