Exceptional and convenient location within walking distance from Kos traditional city center and bar areas, very convenient for large free car park nearby as well as for main motorway for the rest of the island. Exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful personnel. Very good breakfast with lots of choices. Spacious and clean rooms, renovated with a "modern touch".

Quite popular for younger people due to proximity with Kos traditional city center and bar areas, adjacent rooms could be noisy sometimes at early morning hours when hotel residents return from local bars/clubs. We have not used the top-floor pool (we considered we would not need a pool with such great beaches in the island, anyways) but it is rather smaller than in the photos.

Great friendly staff - room was cleaned daily and cleaning/reception/catering staff were all happy, helpful and polite. Room was modern - a little on the smaller side but adequate for the two of us. Safe, air con (both free of charge) and fridge in room were very useful. Roof top bar is very chilled. Location is excellent. Would recommend as a place to stay (we intend to come back again!)

Noisy at times at night, with doors banging and conversations clearly being heard from the corridor (I came prepared with ear plugs so just accepted it). Bed sheets are not fitted, would have preferred fitted sheets (but only a minor dislike)

Very large room and modernised and clean, nice concept in decoration:) not quite sure why the room settee was set up as another bed so I had two large double beds in the room ……. I felt quite lonely as I was a single traveller :) the settee would have been more useful to me. The breakfast provided was great with good choice and plenty provided, one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in Kos

Unfortunately I arrived at 10pm so my room was probably the last to go so the view from the balcony was awful which is why I only gave the hotel a 4 instead of 5. It just looked into a scruffy inner triangle with other bedrooms looking directly into my room and all their towels on the balcony. It was also next to the cleaning cupboard so was noises from about 7.30 am.

Hotel Review: Maratina, Kos I had a wonderful 10-day stay at Maratina in Kos this January. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and serviced regularly, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment throughout my stay. Breakfast was excellent, offering a plentiful selection with a good variety of options to suit different tastes. It was a great way to start each day. The front desk staff were particularly helpful, always friendly and ready to assist with any queries or recommendations. Their hospitality added to the overall positive experience. Overall, my stay at Maratina was enjoyable, and I would gladly return. A great choice for anyone visiting Kos!

hotel is in a great spot! just out of the busy part of old town but still within a 5 minute walk of anything you could need! the main port is about 10 minutes walk away. rooftop pool was fantastic, i visited in august and could get a beanbag next to the pool everyday, there was a few kids around but everyone was very respectful, seems like families tend to stay at the larger resorts. room was small but air conditioned and had everything you need. included breakfast was a great bonus and there was lots on offer.

The hotel is in a very good location in the city center, 15–20 minutes from the beach. The room was clean, the air conditioning fully functional, and the bed comfortable. The rooftop bar is perfect for a romantic drink. I’d like to highlight the very helpful staff - we were able to leave our luggage in the hotel for the rest of the day and take a shower after a full day at the beach before our flight.

The breakfast area is a bit outdated and would benefit from a renovation. It slightly took away from the experience of otherwise tasty breakfasts.

Great location - right in the center; beautiful pool area with nice views; rooms are clean; people working here are so friendly and helpful: both ladies at reception and also the lady at pool bar; our flight was in the evening so it was so nice that the hotel has a proper shower next to pool, including shower gels, hairdryer etc - so we could refresh before flight; overall everything was good and we would stay here again; breakfast was ok - nothing special but there was enough to choose from

We liked the rooftop bar and pool, as well as the balconies we received with the rooms. We also liked that our stay was half board which allowed us to save money on dinner.

The roof bar was low in stock, but it was explained to us that this was because it was the end of the season, which is understandable. The pool was cold but once we were acclimatised it was enjoyable. The walls were also thin, so we could hear our next door neighbours making full use of their bedroom in excruciating detail.

Breakfast is plentiful. Something for everyone. Room was comfortable and quiet. Location is great for town centre. Everywhere else I looked at was double the price. Had a lovely few days here and would come back without a doubt. Staff v friendly too.

Pool on the roof isn’t the biggest (or the warmest) but does the job. Having been delayed on my flight for three hours I got in late. I couldn’t get the air con to work but it turns out it won’t if the door is open. Apparently this is general knowledge but I didn’t know! From the second night it was working beautifully. Toilet is a bit tight if you are larger than a rake but it’s no big deal. It really is the best value for money in Kos town

Nice hotel in quiet street ideally located for bars, restaurants, good sandy beach @20 mins walk and port which was @ 15mins walk. Clean,comfortable, and friendly staff. Good selection of hot and cold foods for buffet breakfast, bottled water in room, and tea/coffee facilities. Small sports bar opposite or hotel bar available for nightcap. Lovely but small rooftop pool area and bar if you don't fancy beach or whilst waiting to leave for ferry.

Nothing really, view from room not the best but its where the hotel is situated and only there for 2 nights so not a problem.
