Gifford House is a wonderful property! Centrally located, great staff, wonderful, comfortable stay. The bed was a king size, luxurious rest and the pillows were incredibly soft yet supportive. The bathroom was nice size and the shower worked well with plenty of water. Best of all, there were plenty of outlets in the room. Hallelujah! The room I was in was spacious, super clean, and a joy to stay in. I felt safe, and well taken care of
The property has no elevator, and understandably it is a historic building, but that didn't make my 2 flight climb with a suitcase pleasant... But I did understand. One change is to place coffee makers and safes in the room, iny opinion that's the only thing I would change

+ great location, very central Provincetown, easy access and easy to go to the main PTown viewpoints. + great crew, very friendly, helpful and listening, both for check-in or special request. They provide beach towels and sunscreen, as well as free coffee, water and other small stuff in the morning. Very well run and feels like a very friendly inn, similar to a family-run business (not your cold big anonymous hotel). The building itself is a very well preserved New England house with lots of charm. + good comfort overall. The room is accurate to picture. I was staying in the Annex, that you access from the patio instead of the main lobby. The room has an AC, a little fridge, a desk with a TV, and a comfortable enough queen size bed. Bathroom and bedroom felt very clean, renovated, and "elegantly" furnished. Despite the seemingly old age of the building, it does not show at all. + If you come for the events, they are much fun and some would turn the main living-room into a cabaret-like space that just feels special.
- the windows have blinders and not curtains, so be aware that you can not have a blackout in the room. Not necessarily a big deal if you're used to it, but you will have morning daylight coming quite in your room. - be aware that the inn hosts some parties in the afternoon (5-9pm) and/or night (9pm-1am) during some weeks/days in summer. I was staying at the inn precisely for the events going on, but you may want to check their schedule, otherwise you can end up with undesired noise at some evening/night hours.

Very central and close to shops, restaurants and bars! Also has its own bar, lounge and club! If you are a gay man this place is for you! As a group of two lesbians, 1 gay and a straight we still had an amazing time! Staff is friendly and place is decorated very nice! The artwork in the room was a special touch and had us laughing and smiling
Parking is limited! First come first serve so otherwise you may struggle a bit to find some! We were fine but just as a warning to others

The location is perfect. The shower was exceptional. The antique furniture was spectacular. The Porch Bar was vibrant due to the Frolic Weekend Events at the Inn. The Singer/ Piano Player was amazing. .
There were a lot of steps to manage with luggage

Very clean and well decorated room, the bathroom was impeccable. I loved how every detail in the room was thought out to provide the best possible accommodation. Comfortable bed. No unpleasant smells.
some guests talking loudly in the hallways at 3am. but I understand that it is not the property's fault, considering it was a party weekend.

We have been there before so we knew what to expect, they are doing renovations and when done will be great. Hannah is the manager, and you can't ask for someone nicer than her. Anything you ask she has an answer, she has great personality and takes care of all your needs. We had a great time, and we will be back.
Continental breakfast could have been better with more to offer.

Location is excellent. Porch bar was super fun and open in the off-season which was a huge bonus.
Hot water in the shower would have been nice. Especially since it was April and chilly. Not sure what the problem was. But in fairness? We never reported it. Could have been an easily fixable issue. We’d still stay there again.

Loud base from bar/ nightclub until 1 am nightly. Upper floors less noise.

The location cannot be beat! The staff was VERY responsive and friendly. There was NO issue with noise.
The AC in the rooms didn't really work so it was HOT HOT HOT. That made sleeping a little miserable. It was VERY expensive.

Great location, friendly staff, charming rooms and live entertainment on site.
Price is on the higher side, but worth it.
