It's a very nice place to stay and have done so numerous times over the years since new owners bought it. The improvements over the years have been very good.

The continental breakfast has changed dramatically and not for the best. Ordering 2 items online is confusing. Maybe cause of the time of year, the remaining selection of fruit, cereal, juice outside of online items is lacking. I found this funny, in one of the inns web pages there is a stock photo of a gorgeous continental breakfast and then what you see at actual breakfast is no where anything like the picture. LOL

Extremely friendly staff - I absolutely love the convenience of communicating thru text messaging. Beautiful grounds we (my daughter & I) walked the property with cute whimsical details everywhere. We were there for a Mother's day trip. Definitely be back to try out the salt water pool, wasn't ready yet where we were there off season but still a beautiful time to be in Provincetown.

No microwave - lighting options could of been better & no USB charging stations or outlets on the alarm clock or lamp base.

The customer service was extraordinary! All of the staff were so friendly and acted like they were so happy with working there! So unusual and refreshing! The shuttle service was unbelievable- they have a six person golf cart that will take you anywhere during it’s scheduled hours 9a-3p and 4p-8p in Provincetown. It was so convenient- you just call the inn and the shuttle was there in a few minutes to transport you. It was extremely clean and had recently been renovated. The grounds were beautiful with lovely maintained landscaping. The breakfast was very delicious. Just an example of the amazing customer service, upon leaving, we needed to return to the ferry. So, we tried to take their shuttle, but it was raining and the shuttle couldn’t take us. We called a cab, which is ridiculously expensive ($12/person to go about 2 miles). We were prepared to take the cab, but the staff approached us and said that they would take us. They drove us for no additional charge to the ferry dock!! I would without hesitation stay here again! It is also very reasonably priced!

The free hot breakfast is prepared early in the morning by a wonderful chef and left in paper bags - along with the usual choices like yogurt and orange juice & coffee. I am both gluten and dairy free, but she prepared tasty, nutritious “egg bites” for me. My husband got to eat quiche and croissants. The people there, both guests and staff, are warm and conversant. Everyone is happy to be there. Guests come back year after year: one person said “14 years,” another, “25 years.” The height of the property and groomed grounds are beautiful! Although you’re in town, it feels pastoral. A free shuttle will take you into town. We’re planning our next trip with the family.

We had trouble with the faucet, but they came and fixed it right away.

The staff and property are wonderful. Lots of great places to sit outside and enjoy the grounds, a very nice pool, pretty landscaping, and the excellent shuttle service. We also loved the daily breakfast!

I think we probably had the worst room in the complex, right next to the housekeeping area and near the stairs. The building is also not insulated very well, and we heard a lot of clomping around upstairs. Next time I will ask for an upstairs room with an ocean view!

Really sweet place and nicely located, super friendly staff, comfy bed! For breakfast you can order warm options (ham and cheese or spinach feta croissant) the night before and they have yoghurts, fruits, cereals, coffee, tea and orange juice in the morning. Good coffee and also oat / almond milk available. Nice walk to town and nice view of the sunset in the evening in front of the hotel!

Only plastic cups etc

Great and friendly staff. Always there to help and give suggestions. Pre-ordering of hot breakfast options and pastries the day before is a great idea and really worked and other continental breakfast options and coffee were also available each morning. Good location, walking distance to Commercial Street and a few great restaurants. Bicycle rental place just down the road. Had a great time and would book again.

Sockets not all easily accessible. Some older furnishings could be modernised, perhaps no carpets. But would stay again.

Excellent (free) breakfast, awesome staff, all sort of extra services (such as a port shuttle), large rooms with good AC, nice swimpool and a beautiful little sitting area. And probably so much more that I missed.

The bathroom is difficult to keep dry when showering due to the shape the bath in combination with the shower curtain (for other Europeans, it's the classic North American bath/shower combination ;) ), creating a bit of a mess.

The location was amazing, the rooms were quite spacious and the breakfast was great. I also liked that everybody had a separate entrance to their room. The garden and pool area was beautiful and I loved to just sit there and read. Also my boyfriend wanted to send me flowers. One of the staff members went and got them, and even wrote a cart with the text my boyfriend provided. The staff is so lovely!

We couldn't take a bath as the bathtub wouldn't shut properly. Apart from that, it was amazing.

The staff was amazing...friendly, authentic, happy to be there, helpful...can't say enough about how welcome everyone made us feel. The property is quiet, tranquil, relaxing and simply beautiful...an oasis in the midst of hectic P-Town. Rooms are clean and cared for. The grounds "manager" (not sure of the proper title) carries peanuts in her pocket to feed the squirrels, and seeds for the birds, and....how amazing is that!

Hard to say that there was anything we didn't like. At most I would say the hotel is a bit dated...but super clean and you can see the care that goes into the property. I would have enjoyed a microwave in the room...but no big deal!!! My only fear is that some big conglomerate will take over the property and build private homes...hope this never happens.
