First of all , the attention to detail was perfect. From care to decor or cleanliness to service. The staff were absolutely amazing, respectful, serviable and happy to help. The hotel was very nicely done. And truly the best service I’ve had in a hotel coming from someone who travels often. They will welcome you with a hand written letter with a bottle of champagne, and the night before leaving , a worker came by our room to give us a hand written letter along a goodbye gift and a lunchbox as we had to take an early flight missing the breakfast. The care put into this action is remarkable. I will definitely be coming back.

Nothings, everything was perfect

We spent a perfect week at Happy Cretan Suites. The apartments with pool are amazing - the furniture is modern and beautiful and the pool is very nice (although quite cold ;)). The staff is nice and the whole setting and mood of the hotel is very calming and beautiful. The outdoor gym is perfect.

The breakfast should be improved. It’s almost the same every day. During the week, they ran out of oat flakes and didn’t replace them. It also took too long to take empty dishes and replace empty plates at the buffet. Sometimes the tableware wasn’t 100% clean and I even found a broken drinking glass. This should be improved. Everything else was perfect :)

An unbelievable experience in an amazing place, I wasn't prepared for how gorgeous this place is. The staff are sweet and kind, the pools, the facilities, the seaview, are all out of this world. This place is nearing 5* and the staff make it so comfortable as they are so down to earth and approachable. The rooms with pools looked amazing and on our last evening I only noticed the spa area for massage .. wow!! Wish I'd booked a massage it was unreal an open area like a villa with uninterrupted sea views, swimming pool, waterfall etc this should be advertised more! Should not be telling you all this and want to keep it secret but it so deserves to be said, what a place. Just left checked into a place nothing like it and wish I was still there. Thank you so much to all the staff.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Happy Cretan Suites. From the warm hospitality to the beautiful facilities, the delicious food, and the incredibly kind staff—everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This hotel is beautiful and pristine. Very clean room and beautifully laid out and appointed pool areas. Never any question of looking for a cabana or sunbed. Maybe it was because we travelled in July before schools break up, but it never felt busy or overcrowded. The staff were courteous. There are several large pool areas which always had towels available. The bathrooms were nice and stylish. Overall we were very impressed. The hotel feels very ‘grown-up’. Out 14yr old daughters were old enough to fit in.

The breakfast was average. No toast machine, limited egg options. Although the omelettes were good, I would have liked to have had poached eggs and pancakes available. The fried eggs are always too greasy. We always found something to eat but I have had much better buffet breakfasts elsewhere. The hotel is not accessible- so many steps and levels. If you are in a wheelchair or have any walking issues then avoid. Some reviews say that you can walk to Agia Pelagia from the hotel… I don’t know who these people are but they must be super human… the walk is too far in the Grecian heat and very very steep. You either need a car (we had one) or be prepared to taxi.

The place was wonderful, starting from the staff that was always very kind to us, giving a lot of gift, and taking care of any necessities we needed The food was also delicious, I suggest you to try the Greek dinner because it was a lot of food and the let u trying everything from the local kitchen! They have two gyms, both with a wonderful view, anche there is also two big free parking of the hotel! The pool il very beautiful, and also the wellness zone Very recommend

Very tastefully designed, very luxurious, it's quite remote, so it feels very peaceful and relatively private. Had a great time! Has a big bathtub inside the room, the pool was fantastic!

the food is a lacking in veriaty (the morning bouffet as well as the room service/ dinning restaurant), considering the fact that there is nothing in walking distance it's not ideal. The roads to the nearest village are a bit scary for my taste. The bed is too soft for us

Beautiful and well maintained holiday suites with multiple pools and exceptional views. Superb staff, generous breakfast and a good lunch/dinner restaurant if you are lazy to go somewhere else. Close to Heraklion city and airport and the Knossos palace.

A little bit out of the way, a car is an absolute must if you want to check out anything on Crete. Internet is not up to 21st century standards.

The cave suits are stunning, the view is magnificent from the Sea View ones. Temperature of all the pools in the facility is perfect for refreshing. The interior design is modern, esthetic and elegant. Everything seems to be brand new and still in perfect shape.

The breakfast variety can be much better for a resort of such class. In addition the hotel might think of shuttle service to the main street of Agia Pelagia.

The people working there are the kindest people you’ll meet! They greet you by name, ask about your trip, and give great recommendations. There’s a personal touch at Happy Cretan Suites that makes it a really wonderful stay. It’s great value for money, and the pool on the bottom level is amazing. The gym is gorgeous and the breakfast is pretty decent.

There was some mold in our bathroom as well as in the grout on the top level pool which made it less appealing than the bottom infinity pool. Sometimes there was a bit of disorganization, like when beach towels weren’t available but I was happy that the staff found solutions for it.
