Although the room had everything you needed. The rooms downstairs are small and the walls thin, so you can hear everything that happens in other rooms next door. I had to spend an extra night and paid for a double bed upstairs and this was better. There was a stool in both rooms but did not have backs on them.

This was a pleasant inn located overlooking the Cromarty Firth..one of my favourite places! Check in was straight forward & quick. Our family room was adequate for the three of us, albeit a little on the snug side. Our double bed was comfortable. Our evening meal was excellent and my steak was superbly cooked! Service was very good, especially since the restaurant was very busy and fully booked. Breakfast was good with a good choice of hot & cold food. This overnight stay was very good value for money. We would stay here again

Our 12 year old grandson said the single bed's mattress was too hard & uncomfortable!

Excellent breakfast, even though, due to time limitations, we did not take advantage of the full Scots breakfast on offer. The staff, Niamh and the breakfast chef, were very friendly and efficient .

There was not much room to move around the bed, and a protruding sill on the windows at hip level made snuggling past painful once or twice. Bit of traffic noise at night from local hoons. A comfy lounge option to the dining tables and bar stools would have been welcome.

The staff are excellent! Karen and Rihanna were taking care of the breakfasts and the room cleaning and prep for guests and provided an excellent breakfast for my wife and I. The night staff were great when we ordered a table for 6 on the Saturday night, despite having a 50th party the same night, they were attentive and made a good night for us. The meals were very good as well. Rooms are always clean and tidy with comfortable beds, with bright white linen.

The five and a half hour drive to get there!

The room was at the rear of the hotel and whilst it was basic and lacked character, it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The shower cubical was quite small with a high step into it, but the shower itself was good. The breakfast was plentiful and very good as was the dinner the previous evening. The location with views of the shore and promenade from the dining area added interest as it was possible to watch cruise ships and other vessels passing. It was a short walk to the town shops and facilities. Parking was not a problem. Other rooms in the hotel overlooked the shore.

The room was quite small, a double not a king size bed and there was no view or aspect at the rear of the hotel.

The Inn was exactly what you would want in a Scottish inn, with spacious and well-appointed rooms that provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, and the showers had ample towels. The staff were friendly and ensured our stay was enjoyable. The on-site restaurant at Tuckers Inn was very good. The menu offered an excellent selection of dishes that were were prepared. The staff was friendly and professional, providing attentive service that elevated the overall dining experience. Whether you're seeking a cozy retreat or a stop for a good dinner, Tuckers Inn delivers on both fronts with its spacious accommodations and restaurant.

What made our stay so memorable was the lovely staff. Not going to name them as I have a fear of missing someone out! Each and every one of them were so approachable, friendly, accommodating and to be honest, lovely! I hope management at Tuckers Inn really appreciate what hardworking staff they have. A master class in old fashioned customer service - seldom found anywhere in the hospitality trade.

A friendly, efficient check-in, a safe (and almost concealed) parking space for my motorcycle, and lovely food both for the evening meal and breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, and the wi-fi was very good. If I was visiting the Invergordon area I would certainly return to the Tuckers Inn.

Nothing really - the room while clean and comfortable could do with a little ‘refreshment’.

Fantastic view of the Firth from the room, Hotel within easy walking distance of the Village, Good evening meal options Decent Breakfast offer, portions on the Large size so ask for smaller if not big eater. Excellent value for money.

Hotel is old and in need of a refurb, reflected in price, worst area which could be an easy fix is the entrance carpet which would put off any passing trade was really disgusting! other areas fine. Shame because the hotel is in an excellent position.

Single room was small but was warm, bright, fairly recently decorated and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was first class and plentiful. Ate in the bar the night before and the food was, surprisingly for the type of small basic Hotel, of a high standard and presentation.

Hotel is fairly basic but for the price paid is pretty good and can not really fault anything.
