We loved the hotel but minor negatives were: Bed not as comfortable as it could be Sloping ceiling meant I slept wrong way around to avoid banging my head on the ceiling (I’m not that tall) Nowhere to hang a towel in the bathroom

Terrific experience. The hotel seemed recently renovated. Certainly, it was clean and up-to-date. We really liked our room - it had a small terrace (essentially, part of the roof on the east-facing side of the hotel). It made our space seem larger, gave us a discreet place to dry our beach stuff,, and made mornings just beautiful. (The room has heavy curtains to keep light out, if one wants them.) No air-conditioning, but the (I believe, ceiling) fan worked really well to keep the room comfortable during the hot days we had there. It also helped that we had big terrace windows to let air in. Breakfast was good and we ended up taking a number of meals at the hotel. The large terrace is very inviting. The reception and restaurant staff were generally very welcoming and nice, including to someone whose conversational German isn't particularly strong. The location is calm - certainly in comparison with neighboring Meersburg! - and the park developed along the lakefront (and right across the street from the hotel) offers a nice beach, a little harbor, and a great place to watch the sun set on the Alps. The cycling accommodations were also very good. The hotel has a large, secure room that is easy to get bikes in and out of.

The location was perfect, the room was perfect with a harbour view, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with the additional choice of a hot ‚egg‘ dish.

There was a storage room set aside for storage and charging of e-bikes. It was also used to store some hotel outdoor furniture. As a consequence there was limited space for bikes and it was a bit of a nightmare getting your bike in and on charge! Ideally the room would have been a dedicated bike storage room with perhaps bike racking in place, allowing owners to position and store their bikes sensibly.

Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, the village was lovely and fun to stroll around. The patio was beautiful, located in front of the pier area.

We had a double room, not much of a view but it was still comfortable. It was a little further from meersberg than I realized but there was an option to take a bus if you didn’t want to drive into the busy town.

Very nice place to stay, excelent onsite parking (parking otherwise is limited to sites a bit outside the village) we had a very nice view but opted for a room without balcony by misstake, but that was no issue as we just went in the evenings to the beach bringing drinks along there (no problem doing that, you wont be the only one :) ) Excelent breakfast and friendly staff

The hotel is located in a very enchanting place. our room had a large balcony overlooking the lake. The hotel has free parking and the breakfast was very good.

Property well maintained. Nice Breakfast. Food in Restaurant a little on the pricey side but tasty and worth it. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Location is super. Just a short walk to the Ferry. This was our second trip there in as many Months and probably will not be the last.

Excellent location for excursions by boat or bicycle. Short distance to Meersburg or to ferry boat to Konstanz (bike or car). Arriving by car is easy, also great free car parking and indoor bicycle parking plus bike charging at the hotel. Friendly personel. Airconditioning in the room (finally figured out how to control it). Room is modern. TV has many channels but ended up using the HDMI input plus fast enough room wifi. Beds are good (if you like firm matrass - which we do) and rain shower is nice. View to the little harbor with sail boats (if you have a room at the front). Breakfast is excellent but people were queuing sometimes at the buffet. Restaurant for dinner is excellent but slightly €€, came back 3x anyway as dining on the terrace is nice. Stayed an entire week. Would come back if in the area again.

The only thing that could be improved is to prevent people from needing to queue at the breakfast buffet. What would help is longer breakfast hours (earlier than 8 am; which would allow also day trips to start earlier), or a second coffeemachine.

Staff was great. Owner very personable and came over and talked to his Guests. The Food in the Restaurant was Super. Everything was clean and fresh.

There really only one thing. The Pillows in the Room could be better. Other than that the Room was great.

Our room with a balcony was absolutely gorgeous. Ever so clean…modern….had everything you needed. Loved the whole layout. The heating was lovely…. Towels were perfect. Could have done with some big strong hooks to hang your coats on near or on the door.

There wasn,t anything at all. We didn,t like the thought of leaving such a lovely hotel… in a lovely location. And of course the staff…the lady on reception and the two young girls in the breakfast room …just all smiley smiley.
