We recently stayed at Residence inn downtown Providence for 10 days, and it was the perfect home away from home! The studio apartment was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with modern finishes that made my stay incredibly comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen was a major highlight—it had everything we needed to cook meals, from quality appliances to ample counter space. The amenities were top-notch, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, laundry facilities, and a sleek, functional workspace, which made our extended stay both productive and relaxing. The location couldn’t have been better , right in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to Providence mall, great restaurants, cafes, and attractions. The staff was friendly and responsive, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, short-term or longer stays, this aparthotel is an absolute gem.

Extremely clean, comfortable, and just a beautiful room. We love the bathroom shower, it had a nice makeup vanity counter, a desk at the window that had a beautiful view of the city. The kitchen was phenomenal with a huge refrigerator, all the dishes and pans you would need, a stove top, and a dishwasher. They had breakfast included but unfortunately we didn’t get to try that, the first morning we slept in and they only do the breakfast until 9:30 am, the second morning we had to leave early for my daughters dance competition.

The only thing that I would have liked differently would be that the breakfast included ran later than 9:30am

the room was well appointed. It even had enough towel racks for 2 people (very rare in Marriott hotels). Plenty of furniture, and a full sized refrigerator.

The surprise charge of $38 for parking the car. That seemed a bit steep. Also, it was valet parking, and that then involved tips, and the valets were spread thin. I called for the car, it was there when I got down, but the valet with the key had gone off to do something else, and I ended up waiting a while for the car anyway.

LOVED having a kitchenette to actually be able to eat breakfast. Spacious, comfortable, Super close to work. I dont know what it was about the mirror in the bathroom, but all of us found it to somehow show us as the most attractive versions of ourselves we've ever seen. Thrilled by the dishwasher. I'm physically disabled and there was zero issues with the accessibility of the room, (which is, ironically, unusual!) The couch is a futon, Which was very helpful when I had to sleep sitting up because of a few dislocated disks.

While, as a victim of stalking, I feel VERY secure having to use my room key in order to operate the elevators at any time AND all doors after certain hours, I would have loved to have known that BEFORE i shoved my key in my pockets while trying to haul things before and after work. Lamps in sleeping area could be a little more generous in terms of light. all in all, petty complaints that mean nothing to me.

Hotel is very close to Convention Center where I attended meetings. Walked over within 2 minutes. Rooms are functionally great. Had full size refrigerator, microwave, etc. Able to take leftovers back and reheat at later time. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom large and clean. TV was large. Internet worked fine. Breakfast was included. A lot of choices - much better than many other hotels which include a breakfast.

Couldn't check in online because I booked through third party even though I am a Marriott member. Parking was expensive.

Location was ideal. Across from Amica Pavilion, in a pleasant part of the city, and a 4-minute walk to Dunkin. Valet service for parking was convenient. The room was laid out well and comfortable, extremely clean, and very quiet. Did not hear neighboring rooms. Breakfast was included.

The bed was overly firm. Adding bottled waters to the room would have been an appreciated touch. The TV controller was difficult to use.

The location was perfect for my trip. I walked from the train station to the hotel. The concierge was wonderful. My phone charger died, and he had one that I could use. The breakfast station was great and clean!

My elevator key malfunctioned at first, so I rode the elevator up and down a couple of times. I had to get a staff member to get me to my floor, but I had two keys, so I just used the other one.

Everything was good the staff, the food etc. The valet parking was excellent.

We had a King room we were 4 adults including my mom of 90. The king bed was fine but the sofa bed was not set up when we got to the room and it was not comfortable at all. We could not sleep in it so we ended up sleeping all 4 in the king bed not very comfortable either. Next time I will have to book a double bed room as this was not a good option. I am disappointed

Location, breakfast and accommodation especially the full size kitchen and refrigerator. Easy walk to Brown University, Little Italy and the tourist bureau.

The soap containers in the shower - very difficult to read whether it was soap, shampoo or conditioner. Also the ice tray was missing - probably pinched. However it was a delight to go to the bar downstairs for some ice and have a chat to the barman. By the way, if these are the worst things about the hotel, then things are pretty good.

The room design was fantastic. Cleanliness was 10/10/. The hotel location was convenient. Good wifi throughout the stay. Overall, a very good option for short- and long-term stay.

The breakfast was a mess: at 9 AM there was no cooked food left, the food area was messy, and the tiny dining room was filled to the brim. We were not able to enjoy breakfast at this hotel. The staff did not mention that the rooms do not get serviced unless guests specifically request room service. Finally, despite Booking.com and the hotel policy as displayed in their TV guide stating that check-out is at 12 PM, we got an unpleasant call at 11:30 AM stating that the check-out is at 11 AM. The person remained undeterred when we pointed out that the hotel policy stated a different check-out time. This interaction somewhat spoiled what otherwise was a pleasant stay.
