Amazing hotel, the staff was really helpful and kind, the breakfast was almost the same every day but it had a good varieties of options, the facilities are clean and well maintained, the room has everything you need and they got a complimentary surprise for us when we check-in.

The dinner tough is quite expensive - 40 euros/person but everything else was perfect.

The rooms were spacious and clean

The pool area was not clean at evenings. when I wanted to go to pool around 5 after the sea it was all messed up and nobody cleaned it before next morning. there was not food available from around 6 till 7:30 . pool cafe closed before 6 and until other restaurants were open i could not feed kids, which was very uncomfortable ! The staff were not very friendly at breakfast times.

The hotel is beautiful, very clean, the rooms are spacious & comfortable. Great food & very friendly staff. 30 min drive to Lindos by car

Almost no children activities, the kids club is very basic & was not much of an interest. Almost no entertainment program, the night shows are pretty basic. During the day not even some atmosphere music at the pool. Repetitive breakfast, unless you go to the a la carte restaurant which is very nice. Drinks are pricy. The hotel defines itself as a family hotel but except of the facility its ability to address children is limited.

The personal were great, room was nice, food was nice, pool area good. Gardeners are doing a very great job! The flowers and garden area was amazing. The shop in hotel were very convenient.

Overall this hotel remind me some Turkish hotels not Greek hotels, just not our style. We did not like the beach, there is plenty of better beaches in Greece. We did not feel the character of this hotel and place. But as we have been in 13 Greek Islands we have a lot of experience and high expectations. So hotel is not bad, just not for us. Also it was built 7 years ago, so some renovation is needed soon.

Overall a very good resort. Very friendly and polite staff that are very helpful. Great breakfast and dinner, with much variety in the maim buffet. Nice and clean rooms. Plently of pools, all very clean. A beautiful resort that seems to be very well maintained. Many great green lawns. Room decor is nice, a great pool and sea view. A mini club for children with friendly staff and activities for children. A children playground that we used a lot.There is a spa that we did not use.

The resort is located an hour and something from the airport and old town. The all inclusive option while seems nice and neccessary in a resort that is far from cities and villages, may not exactly live to the expectation. The options of snacks between meals are limited, and are served by snack bars. The hours of operation of these bars mirror that of the restaurants, and when you need a snack in between, you wont find an open. It is not a major issue, but something to keep in mind. Also on the all inclusive, it is not really all inclusive, as you have a limites number of restaurant that you can use from the available restaurants. Again not a major issue, but keep in mind.

Gorgeous, clean, relaxing and nicely spread out - never felt too busy and had spacious rooms with a gorgeous private pool and the staff went above and beyond! My kids loved Davide and Francesco in the kids club - all the staff really want to make sure your stay is comfortable and pleasant

Avoid the shrimp salad which has 2 tiny tiny shrimps in and I have fed back that the cooking class needs to state it is for adults only - we managed to book on and had 2 very very disappointed kids (love cooking) when we were then told they weren’t allowed but the staff were very apologetic and accommodating

We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and we were amazed by the extremely high level of service and love we received from all who work here. You can tell everyone enjoys being there and takes great pride in their work. One of the managers, Paris, was especially attentive and took special care to be sure everything was perfect for us and really went the extra mile to be sure we wanted for nothing. Usually I have to confirm and be sure all the wishes I discussed in emails with a venue about a special experience/birthday surprise are going to be carried through - but with Gennadi all was above and beyond expectation with zero work from me! The mille-feuille I asked them to make for Robert's birthday cake was the absolute best I have ever had and in true Gennadi style, they went the extra mile and even put gold flakes on top! We loved hearing about everyone's country (the staff is from all over Europe) and Petra who gave amazing service at dinner was even from Hungary, where my grandmother came from! The food was perfection - complements to the executive chef who was always keeping an eye on everything. The room was beautiful and the housekeeping ladies keep the resort absolutely spotless.

Having to leave after 8 days was the only downside!

Extremely clean and well kept throughout. The rooms are a good size and have a powerful overhead and handheld shower. Comfy/large bed and lots of room and space to hang clothes. The food was very good, there was a varied selection every meal time. Plus a few restaurants you can book on site. Pool area was big and had a great sea view. Always enough sun-beds and there were additional seating areas to relax. Small pool area and beds for parents and children as well. Onsite supermarket which was handy. Staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us.

Amazing hotel with great service. Rooms are spacious with modern design and a comfortable bed. The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. Although it's not targeted as adults only, the hotel is not really kids friendly so it's very quiet and calm. Multiple swimming pools, a private beach with a bar and a lot of peace and quiet. Breakfast is solid with good variety, nothing too fancy but no complaints.

Dinner at the main restaurant lacks variety and not at the level expected from the hotel. The a la carte restaurants are nice. Other options in the snack bar are nice too. You won't be starving but it's not a hotel for a culinary experience. Nevertheless, I still rate the hotel as amazing.

We keep returning to Greece as we love the food and the people, and the Gennadi Grand certainly delivered. The staff were exceptional and we didn’t come across a single person who wasn’t smiling or happy to help - it was some of the best service we’ve come across. As for the hotel itself, it was very comfortable and clean and the facilities were great. The food was very good with an expansive buffet, and we really enjoyed the live pianist and violinist at breakfast. All in all we had an excellent time here and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Rhodes.
