The motel is typical of a 1950's roadside motel in decor and amenities. The room was clean, and everything worked well. The location is a very walkable 1/2 mile from the cruise ship and about a quarter of a mile from good restaurants for lunch and dinner. The free Seward shuttle will take you anywhere in town and has two stops within 150 yards of the hotel. This is a major plus. The WiFe was very good (nothing 1950's about that) and the tv channel selection was amazing.

The room was small. Nothing the staff can do about that. Coffee and tea are located in the hotel lobby (open 24/7). There was a good selection of coffee and tea types. But you have to get dressed before morning coffee.. The motel is typical of a 1950's roadside motel in decor and amenities. This complaint is subtle but important. The bed frame had sharp 6 inch protrusions on one side. In the night, a person on that side of the bed could easily hurt an ankle going to the restroom. These protrusions can be removed and should be ASAP. This was reported to motel management.

Excellent staff, comfy bed, warm water, great views, 24 hr office area with supplies, good lotion and hair products, and convenient location that is walking distance to everywhere.

Need better pillows, balcony too small

Excellent location. Easy walk to downtown, and the docks. Reception staff kept the foyer clean and well-stocked with tea and coffee. Allowed me to check-in early which was a bonus.

No complaints

We loved our stay here. It was a great value for the money, especially compared to other locations in Alaska. It had everything we needed. We had a room with a balcony which was nice. It is an easy walk to the path that goes along the shore and an easy walk to the marina. There is a Keurig in the lobby that is available 24 hours a day which was a huge blessing for us!

I like that the staff went above and beyond to accommodating our needs even when they didn't have to. It made our stay much more comfortable and convenient. We will be staying again next time we come to visit Seward.

I really don't have anything to complain about. They meet my expectations by all the information I read up on them before booking my reservation.

Location and convenience

A portion of the wall in the room seemed like it was under renovation, the lower part of the room had drywall work done, and it wasn't completed, painted. Other than that, it was fine.

The location is near everything thanks to the Seward free shuttle. We were allowed to leave our luggage until the evening train.

The location was awesome!! The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was super hot and there was no way to leave the sliding door open since there was no screen and we were on the first floor. Thankfully the office had fans we could borrow.

Bathroom was small. No coffee maker in room, no coffee and tea bags in the room. Parking space is small for large SUV.

Location was close to Kenai Fjords. Didn't have breakfast. Liked the view from the room.

The faucets in the kitchen and in the shower only ran 'very' hot water. So we couldn't take showers. We let the front desk know.
