Hotel management was very welcoming, personable, and helpful. He was quick to offer suggestions for excursions, and even had some for us in Homer, our next stop. The lodge location is ideal. It’s close to the glacier, the sled dog tours, town with restaurants, shops and bars, as well as the port for boat excursions. Also, right next door is a restaurant and the food was delicious. After taking the long drive from Denali in, it was welcome news to hear we could dine without getting back in the car again.

This lodge is in a great location. It's right at the turn off towards Exit Glacier and only 10 min away from Seward. The room was very clean and the staff was really friendly. There's a little creek that runs right next to the lodge so our kids loved looking at the clear water flowing through the rocks.

The flooring finish in the bathroom makes it very slippery whether it's dry or wet. We had to remind each other to step very carefully when going into the bathroom.

We arrived before our check-in time, and they did their best to accommodate us as soon as possible. A mama bear and her cubs were wandering around the cabins, and the staff ensured they were gone before we walked to the cabin. The room was clean and stocked with plenty of toiletries.

It is a little isolated where this is located which is fine, but makes it a little more challenging to get around. There is a rustic restaurant attached that serves good food, but if you wanted to go into town to eat or sightsee, you would need to call a taxi. Uber and Lyft are hard to come by.

Such a great location and so cozy and comfortable! We loved staying here and being so close to Exit Glacier plus easily drivable to Seward for restaurants and a grocery store. The Salmon Bake next door is amazing and was our best dinner in Alaska. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful three nights with my husband, myself, and our young son.

We reserved two cabins and were happy with both. The location of this property is great; right on your way to Seward and/or the Exit Glacier park. Unfortunately for us it was pouring rain and we were unable to check out the property. (This survey mentioned that I requested a quiet room, I don't remember asking for a quiet room it may have been that we would like our cabins close together, but it was quiet.) The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again if I had the opportunity.

The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant, Exit Glacier Salmon Bake, on the property was closed that day for some reason. It would have been nice to have eaten there. Instead we went down the street to Resurrection Roadhouse (nice place, very busy, and really expensive). Other than that there wasn't anything we didn't like.

Loved the front porch sitting area. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room was very clean. Close to town. Nearby restaurants and coffee shop.

Based on the booking.com description I thought there was a pull out sofa in our suite. But there was not. Good thing we brought an air mattress for the third bed needed for our group. No breakfast included.

Rooms where comfortable, clean and looked great! Though the pictures of our booking online where quite different from the actual rooms. The actual rooms where updated and very nice!

There are no dead bolts in the room or anyway to lock the room from the inside. That is the only thing we didn't like about the place. A bit expensive but comfortable

What a lovely stay! The lodge is on a quiet road, yet very near a couple of restaurants. Also near a dog kennel and on the long road to Exit Glacier. It has a welcoming lobby with a fireplace and lots of seating. Our room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was large and both the bathroom and bedroom were very clean. I wish we could have stayed longer. the only drawback was that they do not have an elevator or breakfast...but they do have coffee and tea. Highly recommend.

Staff and location. We appreciated having a kitchen and laundry available. Since it can be spendy eating out 2-3 meals a day, we cooked a store-bought frozen lasagna for dinner one night, saving us time and money.

Room slept up to 3; one double and one futon. The picture shown was one twin and one double. The futon was not comfortable, sorta of like sleeping on a pull-out couch where you could feel the metal bars on your back.

From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and at home. Friendly welcoming and helpful owners and staff. Comfortable spacious rooms. The Salmon Bake restaurant that belongs to this hotel was our favourite choice for all of Seward.

Breakfast options are limited but not a deal breaker.
