Great hotel for the value. We went for a trip to Leavenworth and decided to stay in this hotel because it one of the cheapest around and about 30 minutes from Leavenworth. The location is good as there’s a Safeway, some restaurants also the public market in walking distance. The manager was really friendly and helpful when we needed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We stayed 2 nights. The breakfast is really simple. Only coffee and some oat bars, but considering that cheap, was not expecting much.

My room was great and had been remodeled since the motel's opening in 1968. My reservation was for 2 queen room, but when I got there it was for a king. The motel gave me the upgrade at no charge. The coffee was great, breakfast was less than "continental", but ok. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I'd stay there again!

There is no lighting in the closet area. I mentioned to staff and they said they are working on a solution for that issue.

I stayed two separate nights in recent weeks and had very pleasant stays. Friendly staff accommodated my early check in: the Anglo who checked me in seemed comfortably bilingual English/spanish. All staff I interacted with were polite and friendly. There was new furniture being installed in some rooms. Wifi seemed to work fine. I saw kids enjoying the pool. The Chamber of commerce tasting room practically across street was very pleasant. I had a nice walk along the river to a pizza at a brewery. The hotel is super close to the free (!) local+regional bus.

The AC was a bit weird/weak, but the room temp was manageable and at the price point I’m OK with it.

Close to the train station. The person managing the hotel was brilliant. We received a warm welcome and he made sure that we were sorted when we arrived in the evening. There’s a small unheated swimming pool in the car park that was perfect for a refreshing dip. The hotel was fantastic value. Clean and well looked after.

This was by far, the best room that I've rented from anywhere! The owner/manager, is great! Awesome personality, very friendly, and welcoming! I am sad to leave, but will visit again, soon, I hope! Thank you so much, for the positive atmosphere, Downtown Inn!

Nice communicative staff. Bed was comfy! Appreciate the effort on breakfast. It wasn't the lap of luxury, but it was perfect for a place to crash for a night!

Perhaps set out 4 pillows rather than 2. It is all outdated, but hey, it is cheap, so I can't fuss too much! Some of the neighbors feel a bit out of sorts too. Regardless, I would stay again.

Our room was awesome. Extra towels were cheerfully provided and when we couldn't locate the TV remote a substitute was quickly located and brought directly to our room for necessary programming. We loved that the A/C was on prior to arrival.

The office smelled like cigarette smoke, which was off putting. And the grab and go breakfast was on the sparse side

At 7:40 the office wasn't open yet for breakfast . The Pool was nice . Clean. Refreshing at 112 f . Ice machine a bonus. New renovations very nicely done. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable.

Breakfast at 7:00. A fan in the beautifully renovated bathroom. No fan made for a stinky room. Couldn't open window at 112 f.

Liked the newly tiled shower, AC, floors instead of carpet, many surfaces upon which to place my bags, lamps and outlets in convenient places, parking right outside room, room location, motel's central location, value for price.

Had to leave early each morning, well before the 8:00AM breakfast hour, so not able to grab breakfast to go.

Don't eat that kind of food. I am vegan and holistic. Brought my own food or went out across the street to the natural foods

That the bathroom was very cold and some dirtiness around the bottom corners in the shower. Faucet was dirty as well.
