The room was very clean and the bed and bedding comfortable. I used the laundry facilities (1 washer/1 dryer) and glad I got to it early as someone else needed it. You can buy soaps at the vending area in lobby, I think. I traveled with my own. There was a choice of vending machines or restaurant to eat at, and a breakfast served in the morning. There was a Starbucks Coffee vending machine you could buy a coffee at. Very easy to find, just off the freeway and near airport. Was quiet inside rooms and downstairs had comfortable sitting areas.

It was the most humid property we stayed at in our 3 weeks on the road. I had a very hard time getting comfortable and breathing well. I had to turn the heater on at one point during our June stay to dry the air out for myself. The rolling carts for luggage could have worked better, we had to lift the wheels at the front over the doorway thresholds. The separate toilet/shower space could have used a hook to hang robe or change of clothes on.

Great Facility, easy off and on the I-29 highway, very clean building, grounds and rooms. Quite, perfect for sleeping and OMG, the beds and blankets were cloud soft and heavenly to cozy into all night! Front desk were friendly and helpful to a 'T' and breakfast was a very full spread. We stayed here Oct 13, because our son and niece were able to use the early (6am) shuttle to MCI for their trip to Japan. Now we returned to Orangewood on the 31 to await their arrival back to MCI and another overnight here, before driving back to Omaha, NE. FROM NOW ON, THIS WILL BE OUR "HOME-AWAY" for these flights out of MCI/KCI!!

This review is more about the people and service instead of the hotel itself. The people made my stay wonderful, the hotel is somewhat forgettable. I think I've stayed in 7-8 hotels in the last two weeks. This was the one by the airport... if you are a traveler that fits my description then you'll understand. They picked me up at the rental car return center (instead of forcing me to meet them at the airport) and they were more than happy to drop me back at the airport the next morning at 4am. I think I was at the hotel for just about 8 hours! The front desk was great, the drivers were great, and the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. For my needs that is the perfect hotel. The price was lower than the other chain hotels nearby. Another Tip, there is a tiny BBQ place a short walk from the Hotel (Scotty's) absolutely fantastic and inexpensive. Would I stay here again - definitely.

Almost nothing that could be changed by the hotel. For what I needed, just about perfect.

I didn't need a location by the airport, but the price was excellent and so were the reviews. And , it was RIGHT off the highway. I was not disappointed. The facility was very clean, quiet, and well staffed, it smelled great, and the breakfast was very good. Eggs , sausage, toast and bagels and other choices, juice, etc. The beds and pillows were excellent and comfortable. I slept very well.

I thought it would be loud, being near the airport, but it was not at all! They must have done some really good soundproofing.

I stayed overnight with our toddler before our flight out of Kansas City and we had a wonderful time! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the courtyard outside. We ordered food from the on-site restaurant and enjoyed it in our room. Our son is 3 and still talking about the breadsticks weeks later! The staff was very helpful, especially during the morning when I had to get our bags, stroller and carseat onto the shuttle while simultaneously keeping an eye on our little guy.

This was a surprise found as the hotels in downtown Kansas City was too expensive on the day we stayed (due to the NFL game and few conventions at the same time). By all means, we did the right choice. First off, all staffs we met were wonderful. They were all energetic, eager, and plenty of "can-do" attitude to begin with. That said, if here was anything that did not go as it was supposed to, they would most likely make it happened. Secondly, the room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Renovation of the bath room was a good touch with plenty of functionality at the "powder area." Complimentary breakfast was great too as they offer pretty good options and varieties. Last but not least, as a bonus, they offer a commercial coffee vending machine making Starbucks espresso and/or regular black coffee for free (late or cappuccino need extra bucks). As I've never saw that service before, it was, of course, way better than what you would fix a coffee in your own room. It seems to have been a popular among all people who stayed there, and I totally agree! Again, it was a great stay, and, if I had a chance to return back, I have no hesitation to pick this hotel again. Thank you very much for your hard work with smiles!!

There was really nothing wring with the hotel. Wish the room had more AC outlets for charging purpose and lit a little brighter. Nonetheless, we have no complain whatsoever.

From the time I checked in until I left on the shuttle at 5:40, the staff at the front desk were exceptional-friendly, helpful, and courteous. The hotel was clean and bright, the room spacious and comfortable, the shuttle on time and the driver so kind. They provided an easy way for long term parking and pickup. I understand the hotel has been totally renovated and it is superior for the price! I want to recognize the man at the desk for the evening. I overheard an impatient and argumentative customer speaking with him on the hotel charging policy. He remained patient and kind, maintaining the hotel policies and assisting the customer to the best of his ability.

Only that I needed to order in food for the evening. However, the hotel provided a recommendation and had drinks and some items in the small store. I left before having breakfast.

Staff were excellent, everyone friendly and beyond helpful. Loved the spa pool and towels laid out. Very convenient for the airport

Shuttle bus was confusing: I waited at the airport assuming the shuttle would come regularly. After ~30 mins I called the hotel and was told I needed to call and request the shuttle. There was nothing in any welcome emails to say this. I nearly called an Uber twice and after travel this was confusing and tiring. Simply, let your guests know in the welcome email. Apart from that, great.

Orangewood Inn & Suites was a great, affordable place to stay. The staff were prompt, courteous, and friendly. The rooms were very clean! The bed was super comfortable. Very nice, complimentary breakfast in the morning. The Park and Fly Service ran very smoothly and is a great advantage over other hotels in the area. The driver on the shuttle couldn't have been nicer!

There were 4 pillows on the bed and were all the same size and density. I suggest different varieties so you have one for everyones taste. It was a beautiful evening, and I wanted to sit outside for a while. All their outdoor furniture in the courtyard had been removed for the season. It was only 9/12. I would wait until the end of September or even October to do this.

Front desk staff was very friendly at check in. Room was decent, nice pillows. Free parking is always a win

Doors are really small/narrow. Breakfast was trash. Air conditioner couldn't get the room below 70 (only 75 outside) and kept shutting off, before it got to the "set temperature" Bed is hard as a rock. Some people like that, wife and I certainly did not. No point of having a balcony on the 2nd floor, and especially on the court yard side of the hotel
