The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The atrium is always pleasant at Embassy Suites. The nightly reception with free drinks was great. The bartenders were wonderful. We even ate at the hotel bar/restaurant and were surprised at how delicious the food was there. The shuttle to/from the airport was great.

If it wasn't for the bartenders and the food at the restaurant, I would have given it a 6. The staff didn't seem all that interested in being there or helping. When I booked, I asked for towels for the 3 of us, and there were only enough for 2. They also didn't have the sofa bed ready for our child to sleep on. The breakfast was not up to normal Embassy Suites standards, very disappointing. This is our 4th Embassy Suites to stay in, but it wasn't in the top 3. It's still a good value and location.

Excellent breakfast, one of the best I have had at a hotel. All staff were pleasant. The kids enjoyed the pool. The nightly reception/ cocktail hour was nice but too early to be enjoyed most nights if you're actually doing things in KC.

Don't feel like the prices are very transparent. When I inquired about the price difference I was told the third party vendor doesn't necessarily know all the taxes that get charged. Uh .... what? Also didn't like that there is a parking charge that isn't included in the daily room charge. I get that this hotel is near an airport and they're trying to avoid people leaving vehicles sitting for days but why isn't it included in the room charge per day that you are staying at the hotel?

The bartender, Dom, was great. The manager's reception every night made this place an 8. The location is close to the airport, and the shuttle was nice. The free breakfast was better than the last time we stayed.

The place is dated. Rooms are okay, ceilings are low, and the bathrooms are small. Our daughter hit her hand on the sprinkler head while getting ready. We stayed at 5 different hotels on our recent trip, and this was not the best one. It is unfortunate because we used to love going to Embassy Suites, but they just aren't what they used to be.

It was clean, all staff was excellent and extremely friendly! We spent some time at the bar and both the gentleman that worked Friday night and the lady that work Saturday night were super nice, helpful, fun and cared that we were having a good time and had everything we needed! They were both awesome! I will stay here again for sure!

Our refrigerator didn’t seem like it was cooling as cold as it should. The person at the front desk said that’s the way all rooms are. That is the only even slightly negative comment I could come up with. Everything really met or exceeded our expectations.

The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. My husband enjoyed his made to order omelet very much. Very attentive breakfast staff. Liked the fact that there was a guest laundry. Our room was superb and very roomy.

The guest laundry was in terrible shape. If you are going to offered these facilities someone should be responsible for making sure they are clean. There was a gentleman that arrived the same time as I did and we cleaned up the washer and dryer before using them. They were in very sad shape as far as cleanliness.

I liked my room, the staff, my bed, my breakfast..everything.

The breakfast menu offered crispy bacon. I was told they couldn't make it crispy due to the steamer where it was kept. I was told it would just make it soft again. I wanted crispy bacon. So, I took it to my room and zapped it until it was crispy 🙃

We stay here quite often and love it!

The female bartender was rude and unprofessional. We didn’t have the usual complimentary water bottles or our happy hour cards. Last thing, room service walked in our room at 0930 in the morning while my wife and I were having “personal time”!!

MY CHECK IN WAS FAST AND FRIENDLY I WAS READY TO GET INTO A HOT SHOWER AND WAS IN MY ROOM QUICKLY. AS I ENTERED I FELT AS IF I WAS IN THE PRIVACY OF MY HOME NOT A HOTEL AND THE BED WAS SO COMFORTABLE I DIDNT EVEN FINISH WATCHING MY SHOW.TO TOP IT OFF BREAKFAST WAS THE CHERRY ON TOP.THANKYOU

The breakfast is exceptionally good. The salt water pool was a big hit with my youngest son as well.

My room key would not unlock the pool door and instead of fixing the problem, they just kept unlocking the door for me. So then when I left something in the pool room I had to wait until the front desk wasn't busy to let me in again.

Breakfast was great! The cheff worked extrememly hard to keep up witht he demand -

I ordered foor through the qr code just after 10 pm since we arrived late. The orer was confirmed but never arrived. I called the front desk at about 10:45 and was told that the kitchn had closed at 10 pm. This system should be fixed!
