Easy access to the interstate but not noisy. Waffle House for breakfast next door. Longhorn Steakhouse also next door. Clean, airy room on 3rd floor with a balcony.

Pool was closed for the first day, but then opened for our last two days, The shower faucet was very tight and hard to set between cold and scalding.

Staff was friendly! Rooms were clean! Beds were sooo comfortable! Lots to eat around the area. Nice quiet location!

Ice machines weren't working or had no ice. No breakfast. Have to request room service in advance, not for the same day. We wanted a room refresh and more towels and trash emptied. We were told we had to ask for it in advance to see if they could accommodate. We ended up getting the towels from the front desk and just took trash out to the hallway/elevator trash cans. Our tub didn't drain properly, so after 4 of us showered, the tub was full of water. None of these really bothered us too much though, but wanted to put it out there. It was still an enjoyable stay.

The location of this hotel is great for all activies in the Northland of Kansas City, especially the Zona Rosa area and MCI airport. Downtown is only 20 minutes away as well as Legends area over in Kansas. The staff was very friendly, especially the people who worked the front desk. They were personaly and very helpful and actually explained things. Housekeeping is done upon request, and the rooms are slightly dated but OK. The bed was comfortable, and the room had plenty of working space at the desk or on the large sofa. Note: this is a new Sonesta property that use to be a Courtyard Marriot. If you are familar with Courtyards, you will recognize the layout and furniture. Great pool and hot tub. I do wish that breakfast was included, but the do serve it. I had first floor couryard access, so it was great! Overall, the property gets an A.

Parking could be slightly better. There were times that patrons, self included, had to park completely on the opposite side of hotel due to the amount of vehicles. A minor inconveince, but still OK. The cover of the lock on my door fell off twice. I actually fixed it myself twice. Also, some of the furniture, art and other room adorations are a litle dated but still OK.

It was absolutely value for money. Immediately after booking for a night, I got an offer for an upgrade to a suite, which was amazing. The front desk ladies were a delight. Too bad, because of the sudden snow we couldn't avail the Jacuzzi. The location was perfect for anyone heading for an early morning flight or is arriving late.

I don't have a lot of complains but would have loved if room facilities were up to date. For example, in terms of a really old TV or absence of USB ports for direct charging which are common these days on modern hotels. Also, there were minute trashes from a previous stay which were possibly an honest overlook.

I liked the size of the suite and the value, having an outdoor space, and being on the ground floor. The room was clean, the linens seemed fresh, everything works (except the janky coffee pot). fridge and microwave were very helpful.

There were some details that were missed. We had to request room cleaning, but there was no sign in the room letting us know that was necessary. When it was requested, they missed the counter and left coffee spilled on the counter and didn't refill the coffee. Also, the coffee pot was janky and made terrible coffee when we did have it. There were multiple times when there were no towels at the pool. Details like this made what could have been an excellent stay good but not amazing.

we were only in town for a night, but on the weekend, the prices here were far more favorable compared to those closer to the event venue we were visiting. at only 20 minutes away from downtown, it's a fantastic location.

I don't have any actual complaints. everything was exactly what we needed. the only "flaws" I can think of are as such: 1) no exhaust fan in the bathroom. -- it wasn't necessary, my boyfriend and I both showered and the lack of exhaust fan didn't have any impact. 2) ground floor doesn't have a 'balcony'/patio like the rest of the floors, but it did look like we could still go outside. we didn't, but the option was still there. so no actual complaints.

We really liked how all the staff were so friendly, our room was very clean, tidy, and the bed was excellent, bathroom had everything we needed, we booked a shuttle bus to take us to the airport the next morning, and the driver was there ready, so at 9:30am off we went to the airport, nothing was too much trouble, so thank you so much for your hospitality, we will always remember our stay and will definitely stay here again.

We really like everything about this hotel, we had a swim when we got there, which was great, the spa was so good, no one there only my partner and me, the only thing was, there was no where for us to change from our swim wear to our clothes, that was the only thing.

Clea comfortable room. The pool area was clean as well as the public areas. The location felt safe. T he bathroom was spacious and the room layout was great so we didn't trip over each other or our luggage. Would stay at this location again.

I would not suggest being right next to the exit as it was noisy throughout the night. The pool area was out of towels at 8 pm when we visited.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean and there were extra pillows and blankets in our dresser drawer. The pool was a bit chilly but it was nice given the humidity outside. The location is fantastic and the overall environment was very kind and friendly. This will definitely be the families first choice when we're in town. Kudos to the staff and facilities.

The kids complained about the static on the TV but my wife and I found it nostalgic

Very welcoming check in clerk! (My child tells our whole story when we arrive...) The large, inviting room and bathroom were fantastic, and it was reassuring to see that they welcomed pets without any lingering odors. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub at the end of the hall and were surprised by the well-kept climate of the pool environment. Also, the surrounding hall and room didn't have any moisture damage. BIG SOFT beds.

We didn't like the lack of breakfast options, but we were grateful for the forks when our take-out order forgot to include them.
