Walk through from the baggage belt to the hotel without stepping out into the street, with very good directions inside the airport too. Very large buffet breakfast spread but caters to a huge churn of customers so it's a bit messy. But the rooftop restaurant has awesome ambience, great staff, good views of the tarmac (from the window seats), decent local tap beer and a small a la carte selection. Could even do a whirlwind city walk around at night in 2 hours thanks to the metro also being right next to the hotel (again no stepping outdoors!) and the 25 minute ride.

Nothing much to complain for an airport hotel except that the shower is only in the bathtub and it's pretty high above the floor. So if you have problems with your knee, or mobility, you will really struggle.

We were blown away by the attention to detail. A Swedish wool throw blanket on the bed, two different pillow options for the bedding, Rituals products in the bathroom, shoe-horn, bottle-opener, the list goes on. The whole hotel is beautiful and the finishes are all high-end creating a true sense of luxury. The value-for-money is excellent and the location could not be better in relation to the airport. We used the wellness facility as well and also found it to be lovely. Breakfast is in a modern and stylish room with plenty of options. The rooftop restaurant is a must. Offering both delicious food and stunning views. Watching planes take off and land while the sun sets and you sip your prosecco is an excellent way to spend the final hours of your trip. During all interactions staff were professional, helpful and friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at the Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. The rooms are modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable - the beds were some of the comfiest I’ve slept in! I especially appreciated the delicious breakfast buffet which offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic view from my room - I could see the runway and watch planes on the tarmac, which made my airport stay surprisingly enjoyable. Due to a flight cancellation, I ended up staying an extra night, and the hotel made an unexpected situation feel easy and stress-free. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and the convenient location right next to the airport made everything smooth. All in all, a great experience - I will definitely choose Clarion again!

Just perfect location, you have an inside walkway to the airport. Shops, restaurants just at your doorstep. Modern, new, clean. Excellent breakfast, however no sweet choices at all (e.g. pastries) apart from pain au chocolats. Egg station, fresh fruits, smoothies and the normal stuff. Coffee tasted bitter but I have found it nearly impossible to get good coffee at finnish hotels. At least there was a bean to cup machine, not only filter coffee. Also the gym was spacious with modern equiptment, however it was located in their sister hotel (comfort) that you can access via one of the floors. Didn't get to try their spa section - it must be booked in advance, has couple saunas and an outdoor jacuzzi and you can spend 1.5 hours there, think it's about 18 euros / person for hotel guests.

Sweet options for breakfast could be added. Also better coffee beans for the bean to cup machine.

Hallways a bit dark and moody, signage lacking, all doors and hallways look alike. (where is the elevator??). I accidentally locked myself in the stair entrance on the 10th floor, did not realize once I entered this area I couldn’t access the floor again without going down 10 flights of stairs. I called the front desk, and a helpful man said he would come rescue me. He called me back 20 minutes later to say he had checked all of the 10th floor towers and couldn’t find me! Only by pounding furiously on the glass door did I get the attention of a maid who came and released me. Kind of nuts!

A very new and modern hotel that is very easy accessible from the train station and airport. The standard room was sufficient for a one night stay. The breakfast was very generous and with lots of varieties.

Our biggest issue was the pillows. The room comes with 2 different ones and one is too small/thin and the second one was too big (we stayed only one night, therefore we didn't explore if they offer other pillows). The other thing that we didn't like was that the breakfast had so many bread options, but most of them had lactose in, and matching the picture to the bread was a bit of a hassle.

The breakfast was included and took place in a large hall. Some areas of the breakfast hall were restricted from using although all the tables were taken. Why not allow the whole space to be used? The person collecting dirty dishes and cleaning tables after usage was way too slow and the tables were pilled up with dirty dishes of multiple eaters before. The person responsible for frying refused to fry an egg although there were still a few minutes before closing. This time, the breakfast experience was terrible.

Great location for sleeping in between the flights, easy calm access to the hotel from the flights. Very clean room, professional and good staff.

It would be great to have some tissues in bathroom, there is only toilet paper and towels. Some basic things for removing makeup etc as in even the very minimum would be lovely. Also even if the food was fine, it was cold when it got to the room (room service), would be maybe good to think how to make it. I ordered two dishes and no bread & butter was included either, despite the fairly high price... Not a nice touch.

Breakfast was wonderful with a big variety. My husband needed a shower chair and it was provided, personnel helped us in a number of ways. Great location if you are flying. Arriving we did not know what a three minute walk meant and people and taxi driver all confused the airport Clarion with the other Clarion . My husband can not walk more than three minutes so we took taxi, but had to take another taxi back to the airport for a total cost of 40 Euros. As you are new, better description of location would be helpful.

Perfect for the airport. Just follow the signs from inside the airport building and you can walk to it easily without ever going outdoors. Immaculate hotel with lovely staff. Liked the gym too. Great view of runway and absolutely no noise whatsoever from outside. Restaurant very nice but would work out expensive if you've got a few children. They need a kids menu to keep the price a bit more reasonable and to get more custumers. Lovely restaurant though with delicious food and amazing staff. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely visit the restaurant again.
