Liked the size of my room and that it looks like a new hotel

My family of four (two older teenagers) stayed in two single rooms for three nights. We were so grateful to be able to check-in super early after our cross-Atlantic flight that we didn't mind getting rooms on two different floors (I requested rooms nearby when booking). The rooms were small but new and comfortable. Plenty of charging (with USB ports, so we didn't have to use our adaptors). The location was super ideal for us. On a quiet street but very close to a commerce area and a newer shopping mall ... and our favorite place for food -- Eately (no lie, it's excellent food). There's a light-rail just down the street and the metro around the corner. The airport express train is super close, too, which we used to get back to the airport. We used the light rail to get to Duomo and Sforza (didn't pay for it the second time because the ticket machine was broken). Otherwise, we walked around the north Brea area for amazing restaurants and shopping. This was our third time in Milan and I loved this location so much, I'd return to this hotel just to be in the same part of town. Also, we had tickets to Taylor Swift at San Siro Stadium and the metro took us directly there. No changing. It was awesome.

It was a super hot and humid weekend and the hotel had no water bottles -- to buy or to take. The bar on the ground floor was not helpful getting us water, either. There's a grocery store around the corner and across the street where we went to stock up. There is a night club around the corner and a pretty hoppin' bar nearby. We heard some music and street noise late at night. Not loud enough to keep us up, but just to note.

The security, the room, the staff (Anna), the service, the cleanliness and i must say this hotel was definitely exceptional and it is so spotlessly clean. All the front desk service personnel was so professional and helpful nice people. I recommend all who is coming to milan for leisure to have your booking here. Good restaurants and cafe around the corner. You will never regret staying here. Cheers to TOCQ Hotel which i guess should be a 5 star hotel definitely in the near future!

The hotel has a very sleek modern design. The room very clean, the staff very pleasant. Despite it being located next to a few night clubs, it is very well isolated to the outside, so the noise is held to a minimum. 30 min walking distance to the Duomo and the center.

We had the room right next to elevators and the breakfast area; you can hear everything on the hallway and the noise from the plates and the buffet. It gets quite noisy in the morning, with people chatting in and out. The breakfast has many options, but the food is medium to low quality, pastries included. Only one coffee machine for everyone. For a 4 star hotel, would expect a better range.

rooms was of a decent size, though felt expensive compared to what it offered. Though it did not bother me personally, as the double-panel windows did a great job of soundproofing; people that are extremely sensitive to noise will likely be bothered by the noise and chaos in the early mornings due to the many nightclubs right outside the hotel.

Great location. Close to Garibaldi station, restaurants and shops and an easy stroll to the Brera neighbourhood. The staff were friendly and let us have our room early, which was just what we needed after a long flight from Australia. The rooms are clean and modern, with great soundproofing windows. The AC was much needed! Breakfast was included with our stay, and they had a great selection to choose from. The waiter and waitress were so polite and very accommodating. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Milan.

Incredibly helpful desk who unprompted checked us into an available room when we came to drop bags at 9.30am. Comfy bed. Quiet aircon. Good shower. Good soundproofing. Easy walk to Duomo and centre or Isola bars. V close to Porto Garibaldi station.

Porto Garibaldi station is still a miserable construction site surrounded by other construction sites and the area directly around the hotel is not so scenic. But you can see it will be nice. The hotel as a transport link was excellent though if you need to catch the train from Garibaldi.

The room was nice, with a window that could be opened and a comfy bed - we slept well. Breakfast in particular was lovely with plenty of choice. Around the corner is Porta Garibaldi station and a new area with a lovely park to walk in. It's a pleasant 20 minute walk approx. to the centre so we thought it was a good location to stay in.

What let it down was a couple of housekeeping points. Being tall, I put my clothes on the top shelf of the hanging unit only to retrieve them absolutely thick with rolls of dust. Clearly nobody had dusted up there for a very long time. The shower tray looked dirty and there was no tea on offer, only coffee. I requested it at reception but it didn't arrive. I moved the box of Pringles and thinking it was light, I found it had been opened and was in fact empty. Despite these minor issues, we had a very nice stay.

It is always my pleasure to stay at Hotel Tocq. This is my favorite hotel in Milano and it is always my choice as this is not the first time I stay there. The staff are the best always. Very friendly, helpful, and highly supportive. I was happy to see Tiziana (Titti), Giorgia, and Stefano but it is unfortunate that I didn’t get a chance to see the rest of the team who were on vacation. It was also sad to hear that Giulia has moved to another branch. I can talk all day about the staff as they are the best in my judgment. Housekeeping and restaurant teams are awesome as usual. The location is excellent and near by Garibaldi station, Corso Como and many other stores cafes and restaurants are close by. Duomo is 15-20 minutes walk. This hotel is highly recommended. My special thanks to all at the hotel to make my stay pleasant as they usually do. I wish them the best always. This hotel is your best choice so book your room ASAP.
