Location was great, 1 min walk to centre of town, 5 min walk to supermarket, next door to Silver Creek, a couple mins from Lake Sambell which were great from morning walks. We visited in winter and the room had been heated prior to our arrival which was a lovely surprise. Heater worked really well too, nice constant temperature and not too hot. Andrew checked us in and had lots of great suggestions of things to do. He also kindly helped us with our bags as we had an upstairs room. Room photos on hotel's website are an accurate representation. Water pressure in the shower was very good, shower was large and the hairdryer was great. I was a bit concerned when there was no security chain on the door but then found the door wedge was provided as an alternative. Would happily stay here again.

Good value for money. To start, I was greeted by a lovely gentleman who took the time to tell me a little about the town and the attractions, he was a lovely first impression of the property (which was refreshing start to our stay). Overall the motel is kept in good condition. The room was compact and simple but comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The heater worked well, it was quiet and easy to use; the room itself was a little on the dark side because of the red bricks, but there was enough lights around the room to compensate. The location was fabulous; we could leave our car and walk everywhere, with plenty of good food options around. Yes, there is room for improvement with the accommodation, but for the price it is pretty good!

The welcome was fantastic; we were greeted as friends not just paying guests. This was even more pleasing as our host had to drive 5 minutes out of town to print out all the reservations due to a Telstra outage. He did not seem flustered and greeted all waiting guests with the same calm demeanor. Once checked in we went for a chat about the dining options and again he had all the time for us. The following day he guided us to all the historic landmarks and thereby made our stay very memorable.

Bathroom. I know it is a bug bare in a lot of Motels but a few shelves to put toiletries on would be great. Loved the shower.

It was a lovely, clean room with a good supply of the basics (fridge, kettle, microwave, etc). The bed was so comfortable, and they provided a portacot for our baby at no extra cost. We had a second-storey room with balcony access, and that was great for getting fresh air when needed. The staff were lovely and helpful!

The hot water doesn't seem to run overnight - I was trying to clean bottles and make formula in the middle of the night and couldn't get any hot water from the tap. Also, there was no matress provided for the portacot. Thankfully, there was a spare blanket I was able to fold up and put under the sheet for a little padding.

The location was incredibly central. Just 100m to the main high street. Very close to the famous Beechworth Bakery (perfect for breakfast) and the Beechworth Sweet Co. The pub next door is a great dinner choice as well. It was also a 5 minute walk to Lake Sambell and the Chinese Gardens for our evening strolls. The room was super comfortable and clean. We love the Inn's red brick walls/interiors. Very warm and comforting. The staff were also very friendly, always a smile during the day when we bumped into them. We received really good dinner ideas during our check in. We love this Inn and would love to come back again!

Comfortable, clean and cozy. The owner had ensured our room was warm on our arrival...we'd only booked less than an hour prior. Location was great..just a short stroll to the main street of Beechworth. Plenty of options for eating close by. The owner and staff are all friendly and obviously enjoy their job. Bed was very comfortable, shower also good.

Traffic noise in the morning for front road facing rooms...not too much of a deterrent as it shows how busy and popular Beechworth is. If you do want quiet ask for a room at the back of the property.

This was an absolute gem of a motel! Right in the centre of Beechworth, easy walk to all restaurants and cafes, safe parking at the rear of the motel with the added bonus of a cage to lock away our mountainbikes securely. Our room had everything we needed to make breakfast with toaster and microwave in room. Lovely outdoor area outside our balcony to relax in. When we checked in, despite it being a busy time, they took the time to show us around and make us feel comforable- amazing service that was very much appreciated! Will certainly stay again.

The Armour Motor Inn couldn't be the more perfect location in Beechworth for our first time visit. The room for a family of 4 was cosy and charming. The staff on check in were extremely lovely and gave us a few good pointers on the area. It really felt like a little home away from home and was so clean and tidy. The little amenities we had (like a fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery and cups), meant we could wake up at our leisure, have a cuppa and a bowl of cereal or toast before venturing out. Location was second to none being walking distance to everything in town, especially Bridge Road Brewers, the Visitor's Centre and the old gaol. We will definitely be staying here again.

The shower was a little temperamental going hot/cold when showering but otherwise fine. Could be a little noisy at times, hearing other guests but it didn't bother us when we zonked out after big days!

Lady at reception was lovely and very helpful with information about the town and places to see. The location was excellent close to shops and restaurants and the lovely lake sambell. The accomodation whilst old was well maintained. The room was comfortable with a nice verandah overlooking the garden. The air conditioning worked well. We appreciated a toaster a microwave plates and cutlery in the room. We had a swim in the pool as it was struck a hot day in Beechworth. It was in a lovely garden setting.
