The front desk staff was very positive and very helpful--despite being somewhat slammed at the time I arrived. The rooms were very nice, clean, and had just about everything a traveler could want.

We had a fire alarm the morning that I was due to leave. It was loud, noisy, and interrupted my sleep. As far as I could determine, there was no fire emergency. Shortly after that, the lights and power went out, making it necessary to take the steps downstairs with luggage and briefcase. There didn't seem to be a plan for dealing with the emergency. When I asked the front desk guy how I could go about getting a copy of my receipt for the night's stay, he handed me a legal pad and I put my name and room number on it. That was on Wednesday of last week. By today (Monday), I still had not received that receipt. These were not big issues, but they were aggravating.

bed was comfortable bedding was comfortable…  air conditioning was fine…  we did bring our own pillows and some blankets since it’s winter time so I can’t speak to the pillows but the bedding was good…  the window treatments did a good job of blocking out the sun…  the shower didn’t get very hot so that was my only negative..  breakfast was surprisingly good and even though we didn’t get down to breakfast until about 9 o’clock it was still fully stocked and there was more than the usual apple. Let you see it other places there was biscuits and gravy, bacon sausage muffins, English muffins, yogurt with all the fixings orange juice, apple juice, cereal with three kinds of milk, including almond milk, and chocolate milk. Coffee was good and plentiful. The front desk gal with the beautiful blonde braided hair was really positive helpful and professional. It was an incident with the elevator at someone else encountered, but they got that handled immediately.  It is an older property, but they take good care of. It felt clean and comfortable to me.  For the price point, I would stay there again.

The rooms were so nice. Bed was very comfortable. The entire facility was very clean and the staff was so friendly.

I don't know if it was something we had to ask for or not but our room was not cleaned during our 2 night stay. No one mentioned that if I wanted new towels or the beds made I had to ask and I didn't see a sign. A sign could have been there and I just didn't see it so that could have been my oversight. It would have been nice if someone would have mentioned it though.

Breakfast was great. Staff were nice, courteous. The place was clean. There was no ice in the ice machine on the 3rd floor at that time we were there. The place was 20 minutes away from my daughter's wedding venue.

We arrived very late at night. I'm not familiar with the area. GPS said we're in the area but all I can see was the hotel by the feeder road. I almost missed it. The hotel was behind another hotel. I must have missed the Fairfield signage from the street/feeder road.

A great location, easy on and off access from IH 45. The room was quiet, located on the East side of the building. It even had a nice view of a water feature!

The first room we were given did not have a ventilator fan in the bathroom, just a big hole! They moved us to another room where there was a fan but it didn't work. Really need a working vent fan in the bathrooms!

Loved the comfy beds! I just wanted to sleep all day! The location is perfect and all the staff was super nice! Breakfast was super tasty!

This is the first hotel I've ever stayed at where water bottles are not complimentary. A bottle or two in the room would be nice, especially to make coffee! The "snack" area had little to no selection.

The breakfast was good, cut I liked the cleanliness of the facility. Our room was very clean. I sleep with a CPAP and I came away with no "hotel " smells in my equipment. I liked the view outside our window because it was a wooded area with a pond. Very nice!

Thin walls

Great breakfast with lots of choices! Room was large and the beds were very comfortable. Located close to the event we were at. The room was a fully handicap accessible room which was as reserved, which has not always been what we got when booking online.

We weren't able to check in when we arrived, there was a problem with the way the reservation was formatted. Then once we could check in, there was a gas leak nearby that made the hotel not have hot water.

Very easy to get in and out of hotel parking lot despite it being behind another hotel. Since it is set back from the road, the room was very quiet! Breakfast was varied and thoughtful - I've never had a hotel breakfast offer a breakfast taco option. We were each able to get a great breakfast (taco, yogurt, egg muffin, bagel, fruit, coffee, juice) and take everything to the car since we were running late.

Everything was pretty darn good!

All of the staff was inviting and they really did what they could to make their guest feel welcome.

The room we were I'm was small. And not handicapped friendly. My husband is semi mobile but it was a challenge to get him on and off the toilet. Please consider putting handicapped bars on the wall beside the toilet.
