Short stay at JR Inn as we came direct from Asahikawa, checked in hotel around 4pm and checked out early 6am as we had flight to catch at Chitose airport at 9:30am. The hotel was kind enough to book us a taxi to the airport at 6am. The fare for the taxi for 2 adults with 3 baggages was around 2200 yen. Yes it was a bit expensive for a short distance but we did not opt for the train even though it is very near with the hotel (next to it) because we were too lazy to drag our luggages early morning with the snow/icy snow on the ground. They have power outlet on the bed frame so it is easy to charge our hp while sleeping.

Nothing to dislike except for the room is a bit small, but it's Japan.. we anticipated that already.

Surprisingly good. Great public bath on the second floor, where the hotel provided a well appointed library with a coffee machine. There was also a laundry room for guests with four washers and four dryers. Fantastic if you are up in Chitose/Sapporo for golf. The best feature, however, was the ability to pick out a second, or third, pillow for your room at the reception lobby. Four, five, or six types of pillows were available, with covers. That was a really nice treat. The hotel is located at the station, so airport access is easy by train, and the hotel is surrounded by convenience stores.

If you are driving, parking can be tight.

This is a great choice if you want to visit Sapporo and destinations within a 2-hour train ride. We stayed there for 3 nights while exploring Sapporo. Afterward, we rented a car from a nearby pick-up location, easily reachable by an affordable taxi ride. We loved the public bath on the 2nd floor, which had a lounge area offering tea, coffee, and tables for reading or working. The train station was only a 3-minute walk away, and an Aeon Mall with good restaurants was also nearby. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Being conveniently located near the airport, we chose to stay there again on our last night before leaving Hokkaido.

Check-out was at 10:00 a.m., with a late check-out fee of 1,000 Yen per hour.

The room was clean and modern. It was, however, a typical Japanese hotel and was fairly cramped. All in all, it was ok for the one night we stayed and was convenient, just wish there was access from both sides of double bed (wakes partner if you get up.

Just the double bed only having access from one side. Otherwise, was better than expected and perfectly adequate for their niche. Was certainly clean and convenient.

Location is next to JR train station. It is just 2 stations away from New Chitose Airport. You can reach here by train with just 270 yen. Ignore the google map which stated that it cost 1.1k yen for 2 stations

The toilet bowl is REALLY small. I stay at 4 different hotels and visit multiple public toilet, none of them have issue unlike this hotel. It like kid size toilet. The price is also quite expensive

The location is excellent. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The place is clean, tidy and has everything we need (Loved the comfy lounge) while being compact. The breakfast is hearty and delicious while not have as many choices as other buffet style, it's still very nice. We enjoyed our time here and would recommended JR inn.

This is really just nitpicking here. Honestly not necessarily a bad thing, but the food choices could be larger, but what we had was still very hearty and delicious. And if you are a fan of onsen, the small facility could be a tiny bit disappointment (It's clean, serviceable and honestly better than not having one imo)

Location was great - 2 min walk to JR station and 1st train at 06.21am got me to CTS in time for 07.25am flight. Hotel bathhouse was VERY nice and clean. Aeon mall nearby with great sized supermarket and good food selection.

Didn't love the standard pillow provided, although you can go downstairs to the pillow bar to change it. But I only discovered I didn't like it when I was ready for bed, and by then it's too much of a hassle to change.

The location is just superb. Perfect for a late flight and needed a good night sleep. We took the train from the airport directly and reached at the station, probably within 10mins. Look out for "JR inn Chitose" around the exit, and you will find it right after the exit next to the station. We had good Ramen set meal wick is value for money next door, after a long day flight. Compact but clean, awesome place

Clean and comfortable and excellent location

We liked that it was very near the JR station enroute to the New Chitose airport. We also liked how seamless the check-in was, very straightforward. We also liked the everything was well thought out for a quick stopover enroute to the airport. We also liked that there is a Yayoi to eat in at the lobby.

Although we requested for a non-smoking room, the room still smelled off it. Perhaps it was from other floors where smoking is allowed. The room is also a quite small for two people. There was hardly any room for our bags.
