Location—walking distance to many things

The suite had a kitchennette but no utensils, plates, bowls, paper towels, or dish soap. The AC unit in the room was weirdly calibrated and the room was often too hot or too cold.

I like the friendly staff and cleanliness of the place. I liked the treatment I received getting an upgrade on my room and the little details that really add to the experience like the coffee service at the lobby, the type of coffee machine in the room alongside the cookies. The bar/restaurant looks nice even do I didn't had time to try it out.

It's an old building so I get some stuff might be old like the plumbing system and the heating at night took a long time to be felt but maybe I was figuring out how to use it properly. For a longer stay, I'd be interest in a breakfast service.

The staff is fantastic, as usual (we've been here once before). Love the location. Rooms are clean. Their hotel bar is spacious, clean and friendly staff as well. Had an after-dinner drink and wonderful conversation with our bartender John. He was lovely. Had some pelligrino drinks awaiting us, as well as a yummy cookie. Thanks so much!

We were spoiled by a premium room last time so this one was noticeably smaller. the door to the bathroom was a bit banged up as well. Recommend they replace it; can't be that much right? Would just add to the ambiance.

The location is perfect. 15 min walk to the inner Harbor and great shopping and lots of restaurants and stores everywhere. I didn’t eat in the lounge or restaurant but I had drinks in the bar with my family one night and it had a great atmosphere. The room was large and the bathroom had great shower and the king size bed and bedding were so comfortable The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the cleaning staff were friendly too I stayed here last year and will stay here next time I visit Victoria.

We really liked the location of this hotel, close to Chinatown and downtown. The bus stop is across the street and everything was accessible on foot. The staff were really friendly ALL THE TIME and just really lovely and professional. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable. Loved the heated floors and comfortable beds. Didn't find it too noisy except for other guests opening and closing doors (can't be helped so it's minor). Coffee (pods) is included and fresh fruit in the lobby. Would stay here again based on location and comfort.

Unfortunately it's quite expensive for what it is (not a luxury hotel) and this would be due to the location and comfort level of this hotel in the area.

Central downtown, big suite with couch, very comfortable bed. Very clean. Friendly staff.

We thought we could make our own gluten free breakfast, but while there is a microwave, a small fridge (without freezer), a nice capsule coffee machine with capsules and an electric kettle, there are no plates, cutlery, toaster etc. Fortunately, there are many breakfast cafes nearby, several offering good gluten free breakfasts.

This is a very nice hotel in an historic building close to all the features of downtown and near some exceptional restaurants—Japanese and vegan restaurants (what!) were stellar. I recommend it. Rooms vary in size but have everything you need. Hotel staff were lovely and always helpful.

This has nothing to do with the hotel but is offered for future travelers to Victoria: Parking is very close by and uses an app called ParkVictoria, which you'll need to install on your phone. It lets you preload $ from your credit card, and parking costs $15 Canadian per day. The app isn't great, the system was down twice in the 3 days I was there, I had money in my account but got a ticket anyway. The upside is, the people who support this app are lovely Canadians who listen and communicate, and the app is set up to refund any money you don't use from your ParkVictoria account. So it's a tad awkward, but just fill the account between 8am and 8pm as soon as you get your parking space. Outside those hours it might not let you add $, because parking at night is free. Go figure.

Location and proximity to restaurants, shopping and activities downtown. Rooms and hotel felt high class, spacious, clean and comfy.

Very view amenities, no gym, pool etc. No view out the window as they faced across a courtyard to more building and windows very close. Also very little natural light. However this made for a quiet sleep and stay downtown! There are many great restaurants within a block of the hotel.

The service was absolutely fantastic! Everyone was so nice and accommodating—especially the housekeeping staff. Also, the location of Hotel Rialto is perfect—right in the city, with access to a variety of restaurants (and only a short walk to the Royal BC Museum and other cultural/historical venues!).
