It a historic building close to a great tourist area

We were given a handicap room close to the entrance. We should have asked for a new room right away. We traveled with 2 teen daughters. A bathroom is difficult to share at that age and the bathroom was a bit difficult to use because it was a handicap room. For the cost, there isn’t much included but we were very happy with the location. The “extras” were very basic. For example, the toiletries were generic and you could buy snacks like sodas, cookies or chips at the desk. We asked for advise on some excursions we wanted to take. I wasn’t expecting a concierge but the staff at the desk wasn’t very knowledgeable about the area.

Location was near many restaurants. Easy walk from Amtrak station. Bed and pillows comfortable. AC worked great. Bathroom was very clean, plenty of water pressure and hot water. They have a coffee bar in lobby also a little outdoor area on the second floor. We ordered a small pizza from a little shop around the corner called Uncle Rocco’s (delicious) and enjoyed it in the hotel balcony. Hotel staff was very helpful.

My experience at the Virginia Hotel was exceptional. The staff was incredibly communicative and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, making it feel like a pristine haven. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, providing a heavenly sleeping experience. I was so impressed by the cleanliness and comfort that I seriously considered extending my stay for another night.

My stay at the Virginia Hotel was overall enjoyable, with the only downside being the parking situation. The $30 per night fee seemed excessive to me. However, the valet service made up for it with their friendly and professional demeanor, which helped me understand the reasoning behind the cost.

The property was very nice and in a great location. A block away from State Street so walking distance from everything. The staff was very attentive and professional.

Dissapointed that the hotel did not provide self parking even though they had parking on site. $30/night for valet parking. Feel that a property of that caliber (and price point), part of a chain like Hilton should include parking for guests.

A very modern hotel in the heart of Santa Barbara, within walking distance of bars and the promenade, while a little away from the bustling central street. The staff is very friendly and helps with all questions.

Bottles of water in the room are free of charge only if there is a club card, without a club card they charge $ 3. I think that for such a price, the rooms could provide their guests with water for free. There is no free parking, only paid parking of $ 30 per day.

Location was perfect, a short walk to the train station and all the great places on State Street.

I understand that it's an older building and it lends to the character of the place, but upgrading to double pane windows would be wonderful for eliminating the noise from the street.

My mom and I loved staying here. The staff was amazing and very professional and the location could not be beat. The room was clean and cutely decorated. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Santa Barbara.

my credit card was wrongly charged at night by the hotel due to an error or hack. i was able to resolve the matter with some interactions with the credit card company. however, the hotel staff didn't seem to care about the matter at all. this was irritating because everything else was perfect and they were friendly.

Location! Very close to the State Street pedestrian zone; very walkable to the funk zone as well. Comfy beds.

Would have liked a second chair. No restaurant (but many nearby)

This is the first time we stay in a Tapestry Collection . We loved the property , great location . Very very friendly staff from front desk and valet parking. Rooms were clean spacious and have a nice decoration. Will stay here again for sure!! We loved Santa Barbara
