It is a new hotel. It is the closest hotel to the Acropolis. The staff was surprisingly excellent and friendly. We felt we were welcome.

The restaurant is fairly poor, which was entirely unexpected for Greece, with neither dinner nor breakfast to our liking. But again, the staff was very attentive they managed to find lactose-free yoghurt even though it was not on the menu. The gym was really tiny and the equipment was old and poor.

Location is perfect - just by Acropolis and museum, also Plaka district. Breakfast room with view of the Acropolis is gorgeous. Athens Was suite had a great view and was spacious.

I found the bed too hard and would have liked a more substantial doona. Booked a taxi for 6am the night before and it didn’t arrive until 6.15am. When you are on a tight schedule going to the airport, these details are important.

We stayed for a week to visit the major sites in Athens. The hotel was perfectly situated, a short walk from the Acropolis and museum. It was also even closer to the metro, so getting around to more distant places (including the airport) was simple. The staff were fantastic, with an attentive and friendly service. They also had very helpful suggestions and recommendations of what to see and do. Breakfast was served on the top floor, giving a great view to the nearby Acropolis. Excellent choice of waiter-served dishes and limitless supplies of coffee. The hotel is close to the main road running up to Syntagma square, but we were never bothered with any noise whatsoever. I would stay again without hesitation and would recommend for a short or longer stay.

A perfect breakfast starts with the warm and friendly welcome of the staff, seating with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis, and ordering from a rich, diverse, and exceptionally delicious menu The tasting dinner at the hotel restaurant exceeded all our expectations, with surprising and incredibly delicious dishes. Beyond the stunning evening view and the hotel's aesthetic, the impeccable service of the waitstaff and the excellent music selection made the experience even more special. Without a doubt, this was one of the most memorable evenings we had in Athen

Everything was more than perfect.

We liked everything about this hotel apart from the inadequate lighting in our room and the placement of items in the bathroom. All the staff were friendly and spoke good English. The good and varied breakfast is served on the top floor giving magnificent views of the the Acropolis area. The air-conditioned room is a good size and has a coffee machine and free water every day. The wardrobe space is good.

Our room had inadequate lighting. The lighting is not bright enogh as there are no lights fitted on the ceiling. One of the bedside lamps did not work. We were told that a new part was on order. The person who designed the bathroom never used it. It looks very nice with high-quality fittings but there is a surface for laying toilet bags and other toiletries but there is a large gap between the window and the laydown surface. This allows things to drop over onto the floor. The small face mirror is on the same surface and not easy to use and the light of the mirror is inadequate for shaving etc. The rainforest shower is too large for the shower space. It is not easy to get away from the deluge while washing unless you turn off the tap.

The staff were all so kind and helpful, everyone went out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. An excellent ala carte breakfast was served and boxed breakfasts were given to us at 6am on our way to the airport. The view from the restaurant was spectacular and our balcony was private and huge. Below a lovely pedestrian walk, lined with large old trees, shopping and restaurants were a minute walk in every direction. A Very comfortable bed and pillows too.

Having to check out after only a three night stay. We have spent weeks in other hotels in Athens and I would rate this as the best.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and pillows, lovely breakfast with wonderful view of the Acropolis. Very stylish and chic. The staff deserve special mention and were happy to arrange taxis and reservations. All done with ease, minimal fuss and a welcome lack of pretension. Restaurant staff also excellent. Room service was good and the pizzas and salads offered were modern eating as described and an easy option when feeling too tired to leave the room!

Liked just about everything but one thing that could be improved is the lighting, especially in the bathroom. Not much space for personal toiletries in the bathroom either. A bit “style over function”. There is a lift but you need to go up some stairs to reach it and to get to the restaurant, so not so great if you have mobility issues. But I’m nitpicking here…

The location is excellent, and the staff are truly exceptional. They were very attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. They helped us organize a trip to Meteora and ensured our breakfast was ready early before our 7:15 departure. They knew us by name and always greeted us with a smile. One particularly thoughtful touch was the complimentary wine they offered. When we declined, they brought freshly made juices to our room every day instead. Their care and attention made our stay unforgettable.

The rooms did not have great views. Also it was very expensive.

The central location in a pedestrianised street close to shops, bars and restaurants . The Reception staff and luggage handlers were very friendly and helpful.

Some of the breakfast staff were inefficient and surly. Not all items on menu were available. Also the bar is not open all day and evening to hotel guests. It used to close at 7pm just as you want a drink before going out to dinner. Also Sesnse only serves Tasting menus, not al la carte and they don't cater for dairy free people . For these reasons it is definately not a 5 star hotel which they claim to be.. Our friends stayed in room 403 and they reported that the air con didn't work but it did but turned out to be inadequate for the size of room. They were moved to 101 where it did keep the room cool. As they were checking out so were the new guests in a 403. They reported same problem and Reception acted as though they knew nothing about the problem.......

Perfect location in the most beautiful area of Athens city centre plus an underground station just a step away. Very nice comfy and spacious room. Excellent breakfast with a wonderful Acropolis view. Fantastic staff, helpful polite and friendly. In conclusion a great place to stay. It was our 2nd stay and it will be our choice again in our future visits in Athens.

A little bit careless cleaning staff. They damaged a bottle of our own cosmetics and there was a pair of dirty socks from a previous guest in the wardrobe
