The hosts were very kind, friendly and helpful! The location is very good, everything is near five minutes walking. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed is comfortable. The mini bar in the room was surprisingly free! The breakfast was very lovely and tasty, not too large options pool to choose from but really good ingredients and options to have a good meal. We arrived there before we could check in, but they were very fast (like 20mins) and they also give us a free breakfast and free cappuccinos as well while we were waiting for our room to be ready. I could easily communicate with the host on WhatsApp and they were responding so fast and filling our needs as soon as possible. They can even provide you a tourist guide if you want to go for a hike to Etna! Lovely place, would easily recommend!

Located near restaurants and near all major attractions. Great little restaurants, pizzerias and sandwich shops nearby to eat on the cheap. Catania Airport Alibus stop direct to the airport is just across street, and intercity bus from Palermo or other cities drops you only a few blocks away from this property. Very convenient. Very good breakfast with very attentive and helpful breakfast staff who will make you any egg order you wish and great Cappuccino. Highly recommend this property if staying in Catania. Great host and great stay! Would definitely stay here again.

A really great place for two or a small family like ours. Great location - close to the airport bus stops (and the airport), the bus stations to Siracusa and Taormina, and at a convenient walking distance from the city centre. The street is busy during the day, but the soundproof windows close out the noise. The rooms have air conditioning, but we didn't use that in February... The building is pretty secure, with two heavy security doors for the entrance and the flat (plus the apartments). The apartments are lovely and spacious, with a cool design, comfy beds, and a lovely and clean bathroom. You even get your own brand-new slippers, so don't bother packing one. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and treat you very well (and they're fluent in English). The buffet breakfast is a wide selection of local delicacies - salamis, cheeses, pastry, jam, eggs, pickled olives and other vegs, buns, but there's also yoghurt, nutella and corn flakes. And fresh fruit, obviously, but no fresh vegs - these simply do not seem to be part of the local cuisine. You can leave your bags for free before and after your stay in a secure place, to which you got your own key - this was a big help for us. Thoroughly recommended.

Please note that water is heated locally, as probably everywhere in the town, so it may run out if many people take long showers right after one another.

This was our second stay at this hotel in Catania, and we were happy with everything overall. The location, service, and amenities met our expectations, making our return visit a pleasant experience. The check-in time is earlier than at most other hotels in Italy (13:00), which was very convenient for us. Additionally, we were able to leave our bags at the hotel, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating in assisting us with that. The location of this hotel is just perfect - close to the train station and with the Alibus stop to the airport just 50 meters away. We also enjoyed visiting the historical city center, which is absolutely stunning and rich in charm. So, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return in the future.

The air conditioner in the living room did not heat up the air properly, even though it indicated it was working. Thankfully, it wasn’t cold, so it wasn’t a major inconvenience. Another point was the shower. While functional, it wasn’t very spacious, which was a bit challenging for us as we are both tall. We had to be quite careful while using it.

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Catania, just a short walk from the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. This charming B&B is beautifully decorated, blending modern comforts with authentic Sicilian touches. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a very cozy bed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, offering great tips on local spots to visit. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, local, and delicious, with a nice variety of options to start the day off right. I also appreciated the little details, like the coffee and snacks available throughout the day.

Emanulele is a wonderful host, very polite, proposing help and caring. We had a very pleasant experience at the end of our stay in Sicily. Thank you! The breakfast is great, much richer than in other hotels or flats. Highly recommended! Flat is large, clean, pleasant, bed is comfortable, in the kitchen you can find everything you need to cook. We totally recommend this place!

Very small things: if you have a light sleep it is worth knowing that in the ''split flat' on the third floor, the only window overlooks a busy street. If someone wants to ventilate and open a window a bit at night it can be very noisy. It is worth to pay attention to cleaning of a shower tray. There are two sleeping pillows per person in the room. It is a great idea, only two pillows are hard. If there was a choice of hard and soft, it would be brilliant!

Excellent location, especially loved the outside terrace (always accessible)overlooking the piazza cutelli. The accommodation was nicely decorated and furnished with lots of thoughtful touches - such as books to borrow if you want to sit outside and read and relax. We were given a friendly welcome, with a map of the city and advice and suggestions of where to go and what to do. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable with working air con, a fridge with water and juice (free to use) and tea and coffee. The room also had a hairdryer and iron. The alibus (airport shuttle bus) went from across the road every 25 minutes (which we used). We stayed for 2 nights, but wish we had based ourselves here for the duration of our stay in Sicily as we could have done day trips to Syracuse/ Ortigia and Taormina using the bus or train network. Our Mount Etna tour picked us up on Piazza Cutelli.

We loved our stay at Sciara Larmisi. Everything about our stay at this B&B was exceeding our expectations. Our room was very clean, spacious and the view from the terrace was more than amazing. The location is perfect, very calm and safe. Just opposite a pharmacy, 24 hour corner shop and lots of bakeries, restaurants and cafes. The main square of Catania is just a 5 minute walk from the B&B, which was amazing. The room was cleaned daily and there were fresh towels given also daily. The host was super friendly and welcoming and we felt very welcomed and warm hearted to be staying there. He kept in communication throughout our stay and was very helpful if we had any questions in regards of the city. We were renting a car and parking was a worry we had before arriving, however outside the B&B there is free parking spaces for the B&B with a label stating “Sciara Larmisi” also during evening and night there is a person who helps with finding you a parking also for free. We were staying for 4 days and we didn’t have any issues with finding a parking. Giuseppe made our stay amazing, very positive and welcoming! Lastly, the breakfast was phenomenal, products were fresh, we saw a person who was bringing products daily to the B&B and the host asked if we needed any more of what was already out for breakfast+ there is an amazing terrace to have your coffee and breakfast at. Overall, our stay at Sciara Larmisi made our holiday in Sicily amazing. Definitely coming back!

We were so happy with our one night stay in Catania. It felt very safe, and it was centrally located. The bus to the airport was only a 2-minute walk away. The AC was very efficient, the bed was comfortable and I appreciated having a kettle with nice quality tea. The room was spotlessly cleaned. Our bedroom faced an inner courtyard, so it was very quiet. There's even a pretty communal rooftop where you could take in nice city views. I also was impressed with the toiletries. Also, the owner was amazing, so warm and friendly. He came down to help us find a parking spot. Because we were checking out before the B&B's breakfast began, he provided us with a coupon for the cafe nearby to get breakfast before we took the bus to the airport. It was a thoughtful touch and he had it ready for us at check-in.

Nothing, we loved the stay.

The studio ( Anapo) was clean and cosy, well equipped with everything we need, we really enjoyed staying there. It was a quiet place, well located, really close to the centre, about 5 minutes by walk to the Duomo Cathedral, and about 10 minutes by Catania C.LE ( rail station) & bus station ( InterBus), Pizza, sweets and restaurants nearby only by walk. The host was very responsive, and helped us with various information regarding the transport. Thanks, and keep it up! 😊
