My room was not ready at check-in, so staff gave me a nice upgrade to a larger room. I had a double balcony with a partial view of the ocean, a comfortable bed, and a huge bathroom, The hotel is steps to a giant beautiful beach (no need to cross a road), and there is also a gorgeous pool with lots of cozy/shaded loungers, and a large and shaded BBQ/picnic area. It's close to the historic district, but far enough away to escape the crowds and traffic.

They are refurbishing the rooms and restaurant, so there was a lot of commotion during the day. They also charge nightly for parking, which I missed when I booked the room.

If you are a beach person, it's a great location. Easy to walk to restaurants. Staff is very nice.

We were there during their remodel for a transformation into a Hilton property so things weren't as tidy as they could have been and some of their amenities were closed. It will most certainly be lovely when finished. The new furniture had not yet arrived so what we had was somewhat shabby but the mattress was new and very comfortable. Bathroom was newly done but new lighting for the sink had not arrived. We would stay there again because we are confident it will be great when finished.

The staff was a pleasure and always accommodating. Special thanks to Raquel who always greeted me with a smile and helped me to resolve many issues. Location was amazingly close to beach which I did not realize when I booked. I loved the steamer in the room as opposed to an iron. - worked great for my clothes! Convenient parking. Beautiful decor in lobby.

The hotel was in transition so I was often having to ask for things that were not in the room but it was readily provided. My door was left open during the day when I got back it was still open, but there was no issue in my room. I think the hotel will be amazing after all of the upgrades.

Everything for this stay was awesome! The room exceeded expectations and every employee that I encountered was very pleasant. It is very close to the ocean (just down a side street). It is within easy walking distance to a few restaurants and a couple ice cream shops. They are still doing construction, so there is no dinning area at the moment and the fitness center was not available. The construction did not affect our stay. The walls are not thin like some places, so you won't be stuck listening to your neighbors. I liked the place so much that I went ahead and booked the location for next month.

The only negatives would be that the track that was put down for the shower door does not stop water from flowing out of the shower and that there is no shelf in the shower.

Hotel is a hidden gem!!! Reasonably priced with ample parking. Establishment is conveniently located steps from St. Augustine Beach and is a short stroll or drive to a variety of local dining, entertainment, and St. Augustine area. Hotel is clean. Rooms are spacious and provide ammenities such as flat screened tv with cable, free wi-fi, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, A/C and heat. Grounds are manicured and well maintained. Over all this is a terrific place to stay. Great value in comparison to other hotels in the area.

Ocean view rooms are obstructed by buildings and trees. Transparency is used with " partial ocean view" rooms wording, but some would perceive this as misleading based on actuality. Also, the increase in price for this room view is not worth the value.

The location was good. Lots of restaurants walking distance. Walk to beach was 3 min. Laurie in the front desk was exceptional. She was so friendly, efficient, and professional. She gave us great recommendations for dining and accommodated us at the hotel. There’s a sauna and steam room, yoga Mats, a medicine ball, free weights, stationary bike, and treadmill. The hotel was very clean and the rooms are very large. Tile floor and beautiful spacious bathroom.

Jacuzzi was cold. Check In is at 4 It’s under construction so there’s noise and dust, but the upgrade is beautiful.

Breakfast choices

Loved the staff. The hotel has some maintenance going on so the restaurant was not available but staff gave recommendations on local places. There is no microwave in the room but one on the first floor. The hotel does not offer beach chairs so bring your own. Cleaning ladies kept us stocked with towels and supplies. I would recommend this place.

No microwave in the room. The bed was firm which I preferred softer but not uncomfortable.

The room was fabulous! It was incredibly spacious and the balcony was wonderful as well. They have breakfast bags and good coffee available in the lobby. Every employee that I encountered was very pleasant. This was my second time staying there this year, and I would happily stay there again.

The thermostat in the room looked like you could change the temperature, but lowering the temperature did not cause the air to come on or reduce the temperature in the room.

Everything exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly, Rhonda went above and beyond to help make our stay the best possible. They are at the end of the renovation to be part of Hilton, we had no issues with noise due to the renovation. Rooms are very spacious and beds very comfortable.

The pool was only open two out of the six days we were there. It did not bother us since the beach is so close and they made sure we were well taken care of.
