The front desk staff were very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was very nice that they let us check in a little early, which made our short stay at Shanghai much more pleasant. The location of this place is excellent, near many food places and hongqiao airport.

The booking.com website clearly indicates that the airport shuttle is provided free by this hotel, however, in reality, the airport shuttle was not provided; we felt like being cheated by booking.com. It is a vital feature for an airport hotel, and it was one of the amenities we considered when booking this place. Please going forward, the website should take this feature out of its amenities.

Very comfortable room, nice bathroom and good quality toiletries. Good quality water kettle and a good mix of carpeted and non-carpeted flooring in the room. Staff was helpful. Breakfast spread was a little limited but the quality was good. Location was good, a short walk to the malls and a Lawson convenience store behind the hotel.

The first room they assigned to us reeked of cigarette smoke but they changed the room for us. The walk to hongqiao train station was not ideal- there is an overhead bridge to cross without elevator, which is inconvenient with our luggages.

Fantastic location, very clean hotel, very helpful staff. Very nice fitness center. A beautiful place. Near public transportation, near the International airport, and near very nice tourist attractions. Will definitely come back.

Like everywhere in China, Internet is useless. You can only access Chinese sites, which is no good for an expat. I had to rely on my 5G hotspot during my stay to connect through my home country Internet. Also the pool was too shallow, and the life guard was very strict about wearing a cap. I wore the cap that he offerred me for a moment and then cancelled the idea of swimming altogether. I couldn't bear the thought that that cap was worn by so many other people, and I like to swim with my head uncovered.

It was a really good time in Hyatt! We are family of 3: 2 adults and 1 kids 5yo. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was absolutely right decision. Breakfast was excellent, because in previous trip to China we had difficulties with European food, but this time everything was perfect . Our son usually had for breakfast potato, chicken, eggs, orange give and so on, it was really easy to organ the breakfast for kid. The room was completely comfortable: blackout curtains , king size bed with 2 types of pillows, air conditioning was good , moreover the bathroom size was comfortable. Additionally this hotel has the fast way to the subway station, even you don’t need to go on the street, the way is underground, it was absolutely convenient during a rainy season. Location is pretty good, a lot of restaurants and shops is near. Moreover this hotel has a pool, we used one time, everything was good. Special thanks to hotel management, everyone was kind and helpful!

The hotel is high level from many points of view. I want to underline that the staff is very professional and always ready to support the hotel guests. They all speak very good english too that is not so common in chinese hotels. A super special thanks to Brian the concierge. The offer of the internal restaurant is not very wide, it would be necessary to enlarge it also with more choices of western food. It is necessary to adopt a service to change foreign courrencies in chinese RMB

If you dont have a big suitcase I recommend you to walk passing through flyover because reaching out to the main entrance of the Terminal by taxi may take you 20-25 mins in rush hours

Book the rooms in advance because there might be an exhibition, event or conference (that you are not aware) in Shanghai anytime. Second time I went there on my way returning home, there was 2 occasions (an international medical conference and an exhibition for dentistry equipment), prices were dublicated and been offered to stay with my male business partner in one room with a King size bed

The breakfasts were incredible and catered for any preference. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The beds and bedding were amazing and made the stay that much more decadent. The location of the hotel is very convenient as the railway is not far and we were even able to comfortably walk to the conference center.

We did have dinner in the restaurant on two evenings and I found the service disappointing in the evenings and the dinners themselves were not the best. We had the option of ordering off the Chinese cuisine menu or the Western cuisine menu. We ordered food from both but I was underwhelmed by food itself.

I liked the property because it was centrally located, making it easy to access major attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view. The hotel had excellent amenities. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made my stay very comfortable. The on-site restaurant served delicious food with a wide variety of options. Overall, the property provided a luxurious and pleasant experience that exceeded my expectations. It is also very near to HongQiao station.

Both front desk and Concierge were extreamely helpful. I especially appreciate a young concierge Mr. Du who went extra miles to get taxi for me to go to the train station when I departed from hotel.

The hotel is actually NOT at walking distance from the pirport terminal and the trainstation. Not only the street to the hotel is bumpy, there's no elevator for the sky bridge that goes across the traffic in front of the hotel. So you will have a hard time to talk to the hotel if you have heavy laggage. To help you estimate the distance, my taxi cost was 60 CNY to come to the hotel and 26 CNY for my departure to the train station. Most of the hot items for breakfast were actually cold and the service people were not as friendly as the concierge like Mr. Du.
