The shared / common areas are wonderful. The rooms are big with AC. In the common areas there is so much space to eat, enough tables for multiple people to sit at and eat together that it doesn’t feel crowded. The seating in the living room is very good too. One of us spent a day drawing there without any disturbance. It is possible to microwave, toast, grill, cook your own food. There are enough dishes, bowls, cups for everyone, also knifes, cutting boards, pans, pots, and there’s a rice cooker, a microwave and plates. There’s a shared fridge with enough room. Hot tap water 24/7. For families: diapers, toys, play area provided. For teens: shelves full of manga as room separators. A ping pong table. 5min away from tram. 30 minutes public transport to insanely beautiful shrine & temple island Miyajima. Vending machines. Free amenities from toothbrush to toner to shaving equipment to combs for free. ROOFTOP! It’s just amazing to sit there and admire the ocean view. Sunrise & sundown over the sea! The staff was awesome and helpful, we could put stickers on a map with our countries. Big, big YES. We recommend it ! Car parking also available for a fee. We loved all about it.

That's the most comfortable hostle I have ever seen with so many facilities and so clean. The facilities for kids exceeded any expectations and the special toom with slides was just magical. They do cook up till 21:30 so you can not worry about late dinner. Abd the variety in the bar is great. The prices are exceptionally affordable. The staff is great. The location is convenient for Irsukushima Jinjia visiting especially if you with car. Private parking needs reservation. Don't worry about shared toilet facilities - those are exceptionally clean. We will definitely stay again if around.

Nearest railways crossing sound was a bit irritating at night in our room, but it did not wake up my family, only myself early in the morning .

One of the best hostels ive stayed in, the girl in reception kindly let me put my bicycle in the entrance hall which is locked at night and very secure. The hostel is nicely located about 3 kms ftom the ferry so it was great to go there after a day on the island seeing the Tori gate etc. They serve evening meals up until 21.30 and the meal i had was great along with the breakfast the next morning. The hostel has a big comfortable lounge and kitchen area and great showers. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Love this hostel. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. I am a solo female traveler and this was my favorite hostel. Close to the ferry port & to the rail station. WiFi is great. The facilities are 10/10. The safety is next level with everything having a lock code (including female shower room) I even extended for a night because I loved it so much. Plus they have a restaurant with great food and very good prices

Nothing it’s great!

Everything. I really like the location. Although is a bit far from everything, the locations is perfect if you want to disconnect. They rent bikes for 200 yen per day so its easy to go places. I took the bike to the ferry station and ride back to the hostel after spending the day in the island. The staff is VERY NICE and the food they offer is outstanding (in my opinion).

We stayed in the family room on the top floor with the coed bathrooms. Everything is super clean, and for the value I believe it is all up to par. There is a nice simple breakfast too with traditional Japanese items, it is very quiet, and well located if you want to visit Hiroshima and Miyajima. Bonus points for the ping pong table.

No elevator, but really not a big deal, I just say that for those who need to know if this is accessible.

Private room with a sea view was wonderful. The communal area was spacious and comfortable. It was so convenient to be able to have a hot meal from their restaurant when I didn’t have the energy to go out and get something. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.

The carpet part of the floor in my room was specked with pieces of paper. I also found the check in information sheet from a previous guests stay under the bed.

Everything, the staff was real nice, good food and beverages, they have a fantastic spirit collection (mostly whisky). Our campingthemed room was so nice. They have a nice rooftop with nice views over the sea and surrounding mountains, bikes for no more than 200yen/day. For us, perfectly located, a bit out of the center (which we like) and close to the ferry station to Miyajima. There's plenty of games, books, manga, etc to chill out. Really fantastic stay!

For families or single travellers, really good facilities for a hostel. Play, library and games corners with a table tennis table. Very clean common areas. Dedicated womens' shower. Reasonably close to the tram station. Huge family rooms with decor that would appeal to children.

The beds weren't comfortable.

This was a last minute decision at night. I'm so grateful there was an available location close to Miyajima. Cozy, with all the amenities you'll need (microwave, potable water, shower, free disposable toiletries, play area for the kids) Very friendly staff. Local train takes you to Hiroshima or Miyajima, short walk away, starts early in the morning.

The beds were a little uncomfortable. My roommate locked the door, so I couldn't get in for a while. You roll the dice on who shares your room.
