Well kitted out, bright, spotlessly clean room. Nice big telly, USB sockets 😀 Comfy bed, great shower with loads of hot water. Bathroom a decent size! I was next to the fire escape so I had my own private morning cuppa balcony when the fire door was open for staff servicing the rooms. Nice peoplewatching view from there of the street out front 😁. Had drinks & supper there both nights - reasonably priced menu, good selection, & quite good food 👍🏼. Large, open bar area, with high ceilings. Housekeeping staff very pleasant & very helpful!!👍🏼.

A bit music-y in the room early evening as it's over the bar but Not unpleasantly so. Quiet by 2300hrs.👍🏼 Canned music on in mornings which makes breakfast talk downstairs rather hard. Should be left off during closed hours. Shower a bitty small but that's just me as I'm short & chubby 🤭. Hotel staircase rather narrow, No Lift, & main doorstep a bit high so deffo Not for the fully disabled.

We booked as we attended a family birthday in the Function Room. The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of storage if you're staying longer. The bathroom was a decent size with a corner shower, which was good. However, there wasn't any shelving space inside the shower to put your own products. The bed was We paid extra for breakfast the next morning: £10 for a full English breakfast which includes tea/coffee was very good value for money. There are other options available: croissants, toast with eggs, or bacon, sausage sandwiches. Customer service was very good, professional and friendly. The location is brilliant as it's less than a 5 min walk into the main town and there are plenty of other bars and restaurants on the road. We paid less than £80 for a one night stay in April, which is excellent value for money.

Iv stayed at the Globe Inn on pretty much all the occasions that I have been to Tamworth, by far its good value for money compared to other establishments within the vicinity of Tamworth centre, but I recommend this place if you do want to save some money. A good price per night, very adequate bar and lounge area, good food,/ drinks at very reasonable prices. The room I was allocated was surprisingly the same one Iv had since I started using the Globe Inn, and its kept the same level of standards , bed was very comfy , and cleaning standards of a high level. A adequate bathroom has got pretty much all you need, but rather on the small side. The staff have always been nice, friendly and enjoy working there, compared to other places iv stayed in. Very pleasant indeed.

The only slight issues was that during my stay they were in the process of replacing windows and frames in empty rooms.. which is a good move , and I think will up the experience for guests , as it gets very noisy and disturbing from sound of traffic and revellers using the nearby pubs on a friday/ Saturday night. Having bringing my own toiletries in the shower they could do with a small shelf in there to put your own shampoo/ body wash etc. Also i didn't notice air conditioning in the room so it would get very uncomfortable during a heatwave id imagine

The hotel is in a perfect location close to the rail station and to the Assembly Rooms if one wants to see a show. The room was spacious and clean and the staff helpful. Breakfast is good and with plenty of choice. The bed was comfortable and considering how cold the weather was at the time the room was very well heated. The rooms are above a pub so one can hear music and voices in the evening but after 23:00 it was nice and quiet.

The only minor thing was that there is a very bright parking light outside the window of room 7 so if one is a fussy sleeper they might prefer a different room. The dark curtains mitigate the brightness but it's still quite strong.

The location was perfect right near the town centre. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the food was lovely plus all freshly cooked.

The noise from outside the accommodation if you had the window open, which we had to as the rooms was so warm Two of our group decided to stay in the bar area while we went to the shops, and they are both disabled. One of the staff questioned them to why they were waiting and had they checked out (which we all did before 11), and they were only waiting an hour for us. This made them feel uncomfortable even though there were two other guests sitting in the bar area.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very good, clean, well equipped and cared for. The location was good. Very convenient for the shops etc.

Because of its location, in the centre of town, there was a great deal of noise, well into the early hours of the morning. Not from the pub but from the streets outside. If you live in this kind of location, it may not be an issue but we are from a quiet, countryside area and found this to be a problem.

My room was only a single room, inside my room were the Tea and coffee making facilities,a clean bathroom but limited Toiletries TV free WI FI , even an iron and small ironing board also a hairdryer clean bed linen the room was very clean a little bit small but as this was for only me it was ok I would stay again here but I would ask for a room away from the street

My room was overlooking the street and also near to a nightclub so from 2.00 am onwards awoken by shouting, screaming, singing, talking also car doors slamming cars racing up the street so unfortunately didn't get much sleep.also people on the landing, shouting, banging doors also I think the windows need soundproofing to shut out the noise.

Only used The Globe as a base to meet friends. Lady booking me in was very polite and welcoming. I’m hard of hearing so when I had to ask her to repeat something she explained kindly. Room was lovely and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. TV was easily accessible to both chair by dressing table and to watch in bed. Nice easy instructions on check out times etc. looked a nice bar downstairs and as a single lady travelling alone I felt comfortable returning back on the evening. Nice seating area to meet friends within a key only entry separate from the bar.

No lift as I have difficulty with climbing stairs but not a problem

The whole experience was hassle free. The check-in at the bar was quick and the staff were helpful. The room was small but perfectly adequate in all aspects. The bed was cosy, the shower worked fine, the bathroom looked pleasant, the TV worked ok, the kettle was fine. And being right in the centre of town, the whole experience was easy.

There was one tiny bit of noise from the street as some people passed by, but only the once, and it was a Saturday night. For reference I got in at 2330.

We stayed for a Halloween at the pub and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. Clean and comfortable. I didn't have breakfast as I had to be away early but my friends who did eat said it was one of the best beakfasts they had had in a long while.

Car parking was a bit of an issue for some in the daytime as the one next to the pub was pretty full with shoppers. However later in the evening it was better so some moved their cars. Parking nextdoor was free after 4:30pm if registered with the pub.
