This was a really nice, clean suite with lovely staff that is located right outside Moor Street station (about a 5 minute walk). The suite is actually positioned inside a shopping arcade, but you can enter it from the street. In the morning (and I assume evening) the hotel is locked off to only card owners, which is good because this is a busy area. The staff in particular looked after our bag pre check-in, and post check-out which was lovely too. The suite itself is nice, and is well kitted out with clean utensils. They try and make it feel homely , so there's evening socials on Monday and Tuesday, and as well as that there is an event map in your room. I was really impressed. There's plenty of options to eat out nearby, but the ingredients used for the breakfast were great and didn't feel cheap as well, which wasn't shown in the photos! You'll get a full cooked breakfast if you want, or a selection of fruits, pasteries and yoghurts.

The only slight negatives is that in our suite we found a (I presume interconnected) locked door between you and the next suite. It seemed somewhat easy to open (we didn't try) as it only had a free lock, but it was off-putting. As well as this, you can hear the noise quite easily between your suite and the next. For the price I wish we had a selection of a room there. However, the rest of the suite was extremely noise-proof, which was excellent considering the area is right in the middle of Birmingham central.

The only problem I did have was the booking , I’d booked a cancellation free room, so I thought as I wasn’t sure who was going at first. I then cancelled the booking as people had dropped out (I should have just cancelled the people that had dropped out, my mistake) and rebooked. Because I rebooked I was charged £95 for cancelling which made the rooms more expensive than I had told my friends. I did call the hotel and they sent me back to booking.com which then sent me back to you and I was told there was nothing that could be done, which I think was abit harsh being that I’d rebooked with yourselves . I also wrote an email and heard nothing

Location great. Staff great. Cleanliness of hotel throughout great. Breakfast and coffee all day great. Cannot complain and will visit again.

1) Only complaint was tv in room. Suprised!! Small screen for size of room. with no digital features such as I player,Netflix and screen mirror. 2) why is check-in 15.00 and checkout 11am. Asked for late checkout - £10 each hour? Feel like I am being short changed!! Other hotels when visiting b'gham have always offered extra time for free.

Location in the city centre and public transport. Interior beautifully designed and styled. Suites were so well equipped, they really had thought of everything and more. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy. Plenty of hanging place and drawers. There is nothing you would want for. They even have a launderette and a fitness centre/ gym. The buffet breakfast did not disappoint either, so much choice and all excellent quality. Although you have tea and coffee facilities in the suites, there is also free coffee machines and selections of tea in the lounge / dining area. All the staff were so very friendly yet professional and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing. Surrounding buildings on approach are run down. Area needs some TLC and regeneration.

Location wise there is no better if you there for a NEC exhibition! Few minutes walk to the Grand Central, from there a 10 minutes train ride to the Intl. The room was a small suite with all the important necessities. We could even cook something. The breakfast was also excellent with very strong ("serious") coffee, but I would liked more a bit more personal presence. Maybe it's only me, but I like when somebody is there with a smile. A bit of critisism, that they should change the closing on the cinnamon holder near to the porrige. One cannot be careful enough and half of them is on their porrige - no good. All in all, see them next year when we will be in Crufts again!

The studio suite was spacious, comfortable, clean and very well appointed. A lot of thought had obviously gone into how to make the most of the space available, while ensure that everything needed to support longer and short-term stays was included. The breakfast spread was fantastic. The location was super central (just over 5min walk from New Street station and close to plenty of shops, cafés and places to eat/drink. Even the toiletries were nice.

The only reason I am not rating this a 10 is that the entrance and the lift, on the day I stayed, were rather gloomy and not very welcoming (especially when arriving alone at night), but there was maintenance work going on so it would be unfair to deduct any more than that. Perhaps the room in which breakfast was served could be made to feel brighter - though that's a very minor grumble.

Location near to New Street central station & shopping street; 3 lift to use therefore no need wait for too long; Spacious lobby mixed with Kitchen/ Breakfast area; 24hrs basic gym equipment available; free laundry room to use; Bedroom comes with kitchen w/ everything you need and it’s clean n tidy, even with dishwasher tablets; Bedroom size is okay for 2 adults; Own control AC and efficient to heat up/ cool down (no dust); Shampoo quality is okay; Breakfast selection was okay, fresh fruit n hot food available; the building is clean and tidy all the time; this is good location for short to medium long trip travellers.

Wifi speed keep dropping off; Shower area design fault, therefore bathroom is always wet and slippery after shower; Air circulation in breakfast area is not good therefore the kitchen smell will stay on clothes;

Everything was superb. From the reception staff, to room, and the location near the train station and the city centre. The breakfast was very good, we enjoyed it. We were able to leave the luggage there on our last day as we had the National Equine Show to attend. We had a very happy weekend altogether. Very impressed with the kitchenette, we didn't need to use it, but it would be very handy for longer holidays. We are actually going to search for these suites across UK. Thank you to the staff, they were very kind to me and my daughter.

I loved the location of the hotel which was easy access to the train station. My first impression of Staybridge Suites was absolutely amazing, and the staff were so wonderful, friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, I throughly enjoyed it. My Suite was comfortable and it had everything that I needed for my stay there. I will most definitely be booking to go again soon. Thanks to the Manager and the staff, you all are doing an exceptional job. God bless.
