Excellent location - attached to the Mailbox shopping area, so only 4 minutes' walk to the Everyman cinema & canalside, and about 7mins to New Street station! Receptionist was fantastic when I arrived, not only checking me in swiftly and early, but going above and beyond to help me with a scavenger hunt I was doing. My room was immaculate and huge, with blackout curtains and a super comfy bed. Everything felt high quality. No noise at all from other guests, etc. Free glass bottles of water provided each day, plus tea/coffee/biscuits, shower cap and even eco sanitary products. Mal Bar was very nice too, and the Starbuck's at reception was extremely handy.

I didn't have a view from my window but i barely noticed that as everything else was so good!

In my opinion the best hotel to stay at in Birmingham. The staff are incredibly helpful and the customer service is spot-on, supportive but not intrusive. The food in the restaurant whether you eat in there or the room service is at the highest quality and reasonably priced for what you get. The rooms are tastefully furnished with a host of small touches that make your experience that extra bit special. Also the spa facilities are top Notch. The hotel is also outstandingly clean in every area. If I'm ever back in Birmingham again I will not hesitate to stay here.

Every staff member was super friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to the bar (manager?) on the evening of the 6th of July who remained incredibly composed despite a very rude customer trying to cause trouble (and mixed some fantastic cocktails for us). Everything was clean and the room was a lot bigger than expected.

The only negative is a minor design flaw. I was woken numerous times by bedroom doors seeming to slam and put it down to inconsiderate fellow guests. However, when I left the room in the morning, I realised it is simply impossible to close the doors quietly. Even allowing for them being fire doors, I wish they weren't so loud as I'm a very light sleeper!

The rooms were great, amongst the best and definitely the quietest of any hotel I've stayed in. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was 10/10. The brasserie staff were fantastic, particularly Warren and the head of house that day (sorry I don't know his name).

The music in the bar and restaurant during lunch and dinner was far too loud, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy our meals. Unfortunately when the DJ arrived the volume just went up and we chose to find another bar for drinks after dinner. The check in process could have been improved. The receptionist didn't provide information about dinner reservations and breakfast times or where we could find the lifts or assistance with the luggage. No robes in rooms.

We stayed for my best friends pre-hen for one night as I booked her a surprise massage. Upon Arrival, the lovely check in girl asked us regarding our stay here and advised it was for my friends hen and she gave us a free glass of fizz on a bar voucher to use which was so so nice. She was so friendly and we had a good chatter as there was no queue. The massage was also fantastic! I had Chloe and it was just perfect. She also heard it was my friend's hen and gave us a few free little samples of Templspa and it was just such a nice gesture and my friend was buzzing. Overall, lovely hotel, great bar and the rooms rlare spacious.

The room was absolutely stunning, very spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Me and my boyfriend came here for his birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make my boyfriends day special, extremely friendly and nothing was to big of an ask. they made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the doors. Couldn’t be happier we will definitely be visiting again we can’t wait. the petals i had ordered for our room was also lay out perfectly and the complimentary drink was very appreciated. Thank you for making my boyfriends birthday extra special x

From the moment we stepped into the hotel foyer our experience was outstanding. We arrived 30 mins before check in, and one of the reception staff called over to us, and asked if she could help. I said I knew we were a bit early for checking in, but she said she’d see if there were rooms available. Wit in 2 mins we had checked in to two very spacious, and really well equipped standard doubles. The beds are huge and so comfortable. Large bright bathroom with shower over bath. The tea/coffee facilities were great. Coffee bags were a nice touch. My friend and I decided to nip down to the bar for a cocktail. We were served at our table by the bar manager. We enjoyed our drink, and my friend simply commented to him that it would be even nicer as a longer drink with soda. 5 mins later the cocktail had been adapted and a fresh drink brought to our table in tall glasses with bottle of soda to add. He asked us to try it, review it and he’d consider adding it to the menu. It was utterly delicious, and a very kind unexpected gesture. We ate dinner in the brasserie. Bismark the restaurant manager introduced himself, informed us the names of the other waiting staff and showed us to our table. The whole team were polite, attentive, professional and engaging. We actually told Bismark that he and his team were a real asset to the hotel. The food was very good too. Also a great choice of wines by the glass. Breakfast service was slick but not at all rushed. A great choice of continental breakfast available as a buffet, and then hot food orders taken at the table. Nicest coffee from a coffee machine I’ve ever had. This whole experience exceeded both our expectations. We spent the whole journey home trying to find an experience to book in Birmingham so that we ca return and bring the husbands for a stay.

Great decor, fab bar good drinks selection with great bar staff, young man got us a round of shots for our hen party group! Very comfortable beds amazing pillows! Unique pictures on the walls in the rooms.

The music the DJ was playing, techno? No water in the room, Very clean however every time we came down the corridors there were lots of trays and empty glasses on the floors despite being all different times of the day, no water in our room but other members of our group had water in their room provided, jacuzzi was not working so we didn't bother going in toe spa which was something we were looking forward to doing part of the reason we chose this hotel.

Room was decorated beautifully for our occasion,The bed was super comfy, and the jacuzzi was a great touch to the room, also the staff on reception were amazing, so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the stay.

We found driving to the hotel as it’s in the middle of town quite a pain, the jacuzzi looks amazing but the whirlpool wasn’t really that strong on it which was a little disappointing. The parking wasn’t included with stay and with paying so much for the nirvana suite I would’ve expected free parking with the stay, but it was £24 parking for 1 night.

Room was lovely, clean, spacious, comfortable. Good bathroom, good bath, most hotels have terrible water pressure on the shower and baths in the standard rooms but this one was good. I did get a complimentary drink voucher to use. In town so close to entertainment/shopping. It was my birthday treat and I asked the hotel to leave me something nice which they did, appreciated.

Room service menu isn't the best, also it wasn't obvious to me if it was 24 hour room service or not. I had to google it. Also there's a reduced night time room service menu that starts from 9pm. Again, wasnt sure if that ended at a certain time or if it was 24 hour service, when did the main menu start again. 9am? 12pm? Wasnt clear. Also the room seemed rather dark even with all the lights on, the bathroom was brighter than the main room.
