I booked this for my mum and dad. They enjoyed themselves dad had breakfast near every morning made by lovely staff, rooms was standard but just what they was looking. Close to local shops and bus stop. Free tea and coffee with your stay which is great for my parents. Good atmosphere, entertainment and staff. The shower was fantastic.

The kids play room was not open due to fixing it up but park across the way done the same thing. Had mum and dad in 2 single beds, they did have an option of upgrade to a double but save the hassle they just stayed where they were.

It was close to bus stop to get to local shopping centre, the rooms was standard for duration of stay, the staff was lovely. Kate does some hours. Couldnt do more for you. Anything you needed they helped, no kettle in room no problem just ask, although tea and coffee available for free just ask for a cup at bar. Entertainment each night of my stay. Great with the kids, Park across from Kingstanding Inn again great for kids. The shower was unreal would bring it home if I could, water pressure was great. Good size bed, great storage for clothes etc. The corridors for rooms was hilarious reminded me of crystal maze 🤣 took me all of 3 days to find my room right off the bat, but yet still got lost. Brilliant staff and very friendly would stay again. I got a fry on my last morning and it was beautiful, eggs cooked to perfection, bacon was great and proper sausages thank you. Kid friendly.

They dont just clean your room, need to ask which again I love because that way they are keeping themselves right and going by what customers want. Couldnt really fault anything. Rooms was very warm without heating on in rooms, but open the door while in there and problem solved. The childrens room was not open which was a slight disappointment as at times children got bored but as I said park across the way, but as they said they have just taking over the place and are redoing everything up, so hopefully on my next stay it will be open.

The staff was amazing I lived not far away from the kingstanding Inn but need somewhere to saty as I came all the way over from belfast and it was closer to my sister and the entertainment was amazing ❤ I would like to thank all the staff at the kingstanding inn for there help with my niece and a BIG SHOUT OUT TO KATE AND BEX YOU WAS REALLY KIND AND AND CARING HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN REALLY SOON XX

Noses from other guests having arguments and slamming and banging there doors when they was coming and going but the staff dealt with it and they was really kind I couldn't fault them in anyway

Great pub with rooms above. Absolutely lovely staff 😊 so friendly and welcoming.. especially as I was a single female staying the night. I was even given a free shot for watching Aston Villa in the bar 😁 2 shops right next door along with an Indian and chip shop. My room was clean and tidy, lovely big shower and a little area to hang up my clothes. Didn’t eat in the bar as I was there for a party near by.. but the food that I saw looked good 👍🏼

It was very far from the city centre.. 20 mins in an Uber People may feel a bit wary of the location if they aren’t used to working class areas.

I have written pretty much the same as I did on my first stay. I want a cheaper alternative to Travelodge who are pricing their rooms stupidly - even when looking to book 3-4 months in advance. You may save a few quid using booking.com 😉 I only need a room (with private bathroom) to sleep in after leaving an event at 12.30 a.m. that takes place nearby every month. The room was quiet. There were two clean hand & bath towels and the bedding was clean. DON'T expect: a shelf in the bathroom; toothbrush container; waste paper bin; tea/coffee making facilities. Pub has car park covered by CCTV. I am booked to stay there again. This bit is IMPORTANT! ONLY book a room at this pub if you are happy with the most basic facilities.

Good location with local shops on the doorstep. Clean, comfortable and cant fault it for the price. Staff were friendly.

No lock on the bathroom door. No food served at the weekend but local chippy and takeaways just 30seconds away.

We were surprised walking into the building as it looked small from the outside but it was really nice on the inside.

The only thing we didn't particularly like is that the toilet hadn't been cleaned before getting our room key

The room was great value for money and very clean! The staff was very friendly and the customer`s were also considering I was from outside the area. The Breakfast was HUGE! All in all, A very pleasant experience and I would certainly stay there again If I am ever In the area.

There was nothing not to like!

Beds was comfy, it was clean and the staff were lovely. It was quiet and ideal for what we needed :) plenty of space and the bathroom had plenty of towels and toilet paper. Cosy room and easy to find. Parking was abundant. Other people staying were friendly and had help with the doors trying to get bags and a 2 year old in aswell. :)

The cleanliness of the room, the bed, the room layout and the easy check out option of leaving the keys in a box.

The location was a pub and i got there in the middle of the part, Saturday night... It was a bit hard to speak with the staff since the reception/check in desk was inside the pub, actually at the bar, but in the end we manage to solve everything out. The bathroom looked like the ones you see in the hospital, the toilet was not properly clean.
