I liked the central location while not being dead in the center of all of the daily hub-bub. The bus passes frequently headed to Burmingham and there’s several good restaurants nearby if you want other options beyond what the Inn serves. You can stroll along the canal for days without retracing your path, and walk to a popular amusement park within 20 minutes. I really liked the team headed by Ms. Fran. They’re top shelf in my opinion. I felt immediately comfortable.

My only regret was that I didn’t know about this option while I was still making plans in America. I would have booked significantly more days here.

The staff were fantastic extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our needs, they also made myself, my husband and our two year old grandson welcome and comfortable during our stay. The food was also fantastic, an affordable price, hot and delicious. Thank you everyone we will be booking again.

The car parking is a slight headache but speak to the staff and they will do their best to help. Being in room 27 was a struggle the stairs are steep but we coped as we was only there for one night and it really wasn’t the best room to be in with a lively two year old that likes to jump around we did get shouted at by another guest which did make us slightly uncomfortable.

What can I say.... other than Thank you! I hadn't looked at the reviews online before booking as everyone has their own experience. And honestly, I don't get the fuss. I had a twin room with an ensuite... AND they do a selection of towels. Big fluffy ones! The room was huge, bigger than a regular hotel. wardrobe space with hangers to boot! I had a dressing table with mirror. & radiator. I slept like a log, both nights. The beds are super comfy! Fran had stated it may get a tad noisy due to it being a wkend with entertainment. I was flat out both nights. I've stayed in places where you hear the neighbours in the loo... it was peaceful! The food is spot on. Proper pub grub. If you're not keen on that. You have a Cantonese, Indian, chippy & a tesco express opposite. The breakfast Wowee! Fit! Everyone should get aega brekky to start the day! Last but definitely not least. The Fazeley Family. From stepping foot into the pub, it was all friendliness & warm smiles. Easy access. WiFi & door codes for the night crawlers stroll. Fran & Amber, Mel & everyone from housekeeping to locals. Friendliest bunch with hearts of gold. Well worth the stay, brilliant pricing. Decent pint or few. For a single female traveller, I felt so safe. Fran & her team are very much like family & I for one am super greatful for making my stay pleasant & care free.

Meet and greet on arrival was excellent by the young lady who also gave me all the information that was required to make my stay stress-free. I had a clean deluxe room, the bed was comfortable, a good-sized flat-screen TV, on-suite had a shower which worked perfectly, all in all, great value for the money. I wanted somewhere close for my meeting the next day and stress-free, and I managed to get both. I read some of the reviews that gave it 5 and had a little chuckle to myself, they are paying £43 for a double room with an on-suite, if you want the Ritz then you'll have to dig a lot deeper into your pockets, and then you really would have good reason to complain. The rooms could do with an upgrade but then that would reflect in the price, if you are paying budget prices you shouldn't be expecting five-star standards. Great stopover and would stay again when I am back in the area.

We needed a cheap and cheerful place to stay when visiting the nearby Snow Dome in Tamworth. This did exactly what we needed. Clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. And the price is excellent for what you get. They weren’t serving food the evening we stayed but we were invited to get some food from the range of takeaways across the road and eat it in the bar, where we were provided with plates and cutlery.

The facilities are basic but nothing unexpected at the price we paid. The blind in our room could have done with updating or maybe some curtains.

On checking in the lovely lady was super friendly and gave me all the information and details I needed. 5 🌟

Booking the Fazeley Inn was a base only for myself and my girls as we was visiting family...however we stayed in room 6, it was the first room up the first flight of stairs. Myself and my daughters were woken up from 5am everytime someone walked past or opened their room door as our room door rattled when another door opened. However people need to go to work and we was on a break. I will stay again but will request a different room!

Fantastic little pub and over night stay can't belive how welcomed we felt from the word go lovely room with a incredible bed best sleep I've had at a hotel for a long while!, being a part of a pub is ideal especially how reasonably priced the drinks was! As a added bonus live entertainment in the evening of a ska band and even leaving to go back to the room early you coudlnt hear the noise from the room,we come up here for a car show but I can definitely see a weekend away here again soon!! Well done Fran you got somthing good going on here! Keep it up!

Can't say there is anything they are very accommodating to help with any need,

The staff were so so lovely and so welcoming, , we travelled down for my sons 13th birthday and they put balloons and banners in the room prior to our arrival. The pub and facilities were spot on and the room and beds were clean. Breakfast was really good and the music downstairs was off by 12. The prices were also really good, to stay and for food and drinks and they also had some good evening events. In all I couldn't fault them. The beds were really comfy and despite reviews I had previously read, our room came with a TV with a remote, had multiple channels and we had a kettle. I was surprised at some reviews that I had seen before going as I don't think they represent the place at all my son was buzzing when we got there and he's autistic and is very fussy. The layout of the pub was excellent, i wish i had had more time to spend my evenings in there. We were only 5 minutes from the snowdome and namco which is what we went there for and infront of the inn are several takeaways, a tesco express, a pharmacy so i was impressed with the location, in all we were very happy and would definitely stay again.

The only issue if anything was that the room did smell as if someone had been smoking in it and there was no ventilation in the bathroom so wet towels and all from swimming did make it smell a bit, and i had to be up at 8am to juggle the parking but that's all.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The manager was absolutely fantastic, she was helpful and welcoming. The bedroom/bathroom were immaculate. Really nice hot shower (new bathroom suite) Complimentary soaps & refreshments etc and fresh white bed linen. Our room had was basic but had original beams which were a nice touch. Even though on a busy road and above a pub, the room was quiet and comfy with blackout curtains. Great for people on a budget. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again 😊

There's nothing we didn't like, maybe the bedroom needs updating a bit (decor) but doesn't make a difference as it met our needs!

The Fazeley Inn has had a lot of negative press and I really wasn't sure what to expect however, our room was clean and tidy, it was quiet, there's someone on site at all times, the staff were great and really friendly, breakfast was cheap and plentiful and tasted brilliant. The room was spacious and I would say that if you're looking for somewhere on a budget, this is the place! Stayed for bloodstock which is about a 30 minute taxi ride away and I'm looking forward to our stay next year already!

Couple of minor issues with the room - blind had marks on it but was useable and a black out blind, there wasn't a silver flush button on the toilet but easily sorted and flush was still able to be used, the door handle was a bit loose but could be used and the toilet seat was damaged but useable.
