Nice staff at reception (thank you, Mina). Going the extra mile. Comfortable quiet room/bed (stayed on 10th floor). Ample parking under hotel. Breakfast very good. Very close to all entertainment venues.

Minimal roomservice after 2200 hrs, but brought our own snacks/drinks. Parking a tad expensive @ £21 for an overnight stay. View from rooms now obscured by high rise buildings.

I can't say enough about how helpful the staff have been—especially Jordan. She’s always gone above and beyond to support my family and make us feel welcome. Thank you, Jordan, for making our stay so pleasant. My family and I truly appreciate it, and we’ll definitely be coming back again! Also, a big thank you to the rest of the staff, everyone has been incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. And I have to mention the breakfast, it’s absolutely delicious every morning! It was always served right on time and exactly how I ordered it, which really made a difference and started each day off on the right foot.

Very comfortable room and bed. Efficient housekeeping.

Room: The cupboard layout is impractical, with too few drawers and the ironing board taking up most of the space meant for hanging longer garments. Check-in: On arrival, the receptionist was on the phone and didn’t acknowledge us or make eye contact. A second staff member was present but went into the back despite a growing queue. While all reception staff were friendly and pleasant overall, the initial welcome felt disorganised and lacked the efficiency expected at check-in. The breakfast range was excellent and the catering staff very efficient and helpful.

Staff were very helpful and made you feel welcome. Especially Hans in the bar and Silvia in the breakfast restaurant. Location close to canals and restaurants too. Hotel restaurant dinner was quite good too. The staff were some of the best hospitality professionals we have had on our trip so far. Made us feel very welcome to their hotel and Birmingham.

We had an issue for several days with our toilet not flushing. Reception staff were very empathetic and chased up maintenance quickly. It was eventually sorted. Wine lists in UK are very limited. This hotel no different. Very fruity, sweet wines on offer. Not all travellers appreciate that style of wine. Perhaps some more dry, crisp citrus & mineral choices for white & rose would be enjoyed by international travellers like us.

Large rooms that have been refurbished well, very large comfortable beds. When we checked in we were given a free room upgrade, the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and well presented, tea and coffee making facilities, and biscuits, chocolate and water were provided in the room. The bathroom was of a good size and was very clean, there was very good water pressure and ample hot water.

Unfortunately some tall buildings are quite close to the back of the hotel, so the view out of our window was straight into an office. The aircon was very noisy and not particularly effective.

No need for an Uber, short walk from the station Upon entering the hotel the reception we received was consistent throughout our stay. Danny had a warm aura & smile, he was extremely helpful & appeared to enjoy his job. Seeing him working with a spring in his step was refreshing. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Rachel from house keeping, was welcoming polite easy to engage with and keen to ensure our needs were being met and we had what we needed in our room, which was spotless👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 The restaurant staff made us feel welcome and were cheerful, they checked in to see if everything was ok with us. I don’t eat eggs but listening to the lady who was cooking them was a pleasure. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I got a 10th floor room with a great view of Birmingham skyline. Hotel restaurant offers a great buffet breakfast with a lot of variety. Each breakfast item was made with care. 24 hour exercise room. Paid parking available with a parking company right in front of hotel main entrance. Hotel located in the heart of Birmingham close to many visitor sites. Many wonderful restaurants nearby. Give the Biryani Jackfruit a try at Dishoom Restaurant in Victoria Square especially if you are a vegetarian. I am a meat eater and I liked Biryani.

Hotel was located 35 to 45minutes drive away from Black Country Living Museum and Stourbridge Canal Locks.

I arrived very late, but the staff member checking me in did a wonderful job of making me feel welcome, going above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a great stay. The room was large, with an excellent floor plan, giving me more space than I was expecting. I quite often do not use sofas or seating areas in hotel rooms, as I tend to find the furniture uncomfortable and awkwardly designed. Here, however, both chairs were very comfortable, there was an abundance of table/desk and storage space, and I chose to relax, read and have lunch in my room rather than going out (saving me time, as I had an event nearby). The shower and bathtub were separate, which I prefer, but without compromising on space; both were generous in size. Bar and restaurant hours were excellent, housekeeping extremely efficient and considerate. There were plenty of power sockets, both USB and regular, placed with care and attention. Connecting my laptop to the TV was also easier than I've experienced in any hotel room - a small thing, but in a short stay it's all about the little comforts. I will definitely be returning!

Despite having notified the property via Booking's messaging system, calling them directly, and finally emailing to confirm my late arrival, I had been still registered as a no-show. The staff member did note that the system registers late arrivals as no-shows, which I understand, but not only had no note been left to inform those on duty of my arrival, they also could not find my booking at all. It turned out that my name had been misspelled in the system. Thanks to the staff member's patience, care and professionalism, things were eventually sorted out, and I was very well taken care of, but this should not have happened.

Staff were terrific. All were warm, friendly and efficient - at reception and in the dining room for breakfast. I idiotically left my car keys in the room after checking out. I only realised when I was on the train back to west Wales. I phoned the hotel and they located them immediately and my brother was able to collect within 20 minutes of my phonecall. Fortunately his train was a little later than mine! Superb service. Thank you.

Shower screen had an ineffective seal and water dripped on to the floor. A fridge would have been welcome in the room!

Everything was perfect. It was spotless, the staff were very professional and friendly. The room was gorgeous, really spacious and we had everything we needed. We slept really well in an air conditioned room which was very much appreciated as it was so hot last night. Breakfast was fabulous, there was so much to choose from. My husband had smoked kippers and poached eggs which he said were delicious and I had a freshly prepared omelette which was perfection. The staff couldn’t do enough and it smelt so lovely throughout. We paid £21 for parking for 24hours , however it was in a secure parking lot which was locked at 10pm so we knew the car was secure until we needed it and it was cool when we got into it which was a bonus. As we had paid for parking for the 24 hours, we were able to go into Birmingham Bull Ring for some retail therapy as well so it was well worth it. All in all, an excellent stay in beautiful surroundings.
