EasyHotel is a great chain if you need to stay somewhere clean, central, and cheap. At £50 for central Birmingham, this was the cheapest room available on Booking.com. My experience here and in another city is that the 24/7 front desk staff are cheerful and helpful, going above and beyond to welcome you. The hotel is well run and efficient.

The only trade-off with EasyHotel is that the rooms are very small. My room was almost entirely filled by the bed and the bathroom was so tiny that it was not easy to move around in or shower. Given the cramped space, EasyHotel does a good job of providing lighting and other amenities. A good deal given the price. Might be tricky for larger people!

Everything. The simplicity no fuss accommodation. The location was perfect.

Although minimalist simplicity is the key, there could do with a shelf or shelves Maybe from the bed to the wall or in the corner. Also in the shower room to store the spare toilet roll to save it getting splashed. It would be minimal cost for a huge gain in facility. Noise at night. Some people allow their self-closing door to slam shut rather than close it gently. I used ear plugs the 2nd night. I am not sure what can be done about this. Someone needs to invent a silent self closing door. Or people need to learn courtesy and manners for their fellow guests.

Very central location, easy to find. I've stayed in easy hotels before and I like how they are very uniform in what to expect, but it's clean, tidy, and the design makes sense. Front desk 24h and the staff were lovely and helpful. I like that they no longer charge extra for WiFi or TV as standard

This location is situated over Turtle Bay. Be very careful on how early you intend to go to sleep. On a Sunday night I could hear the music downstairs (i was on 1st Floor) and went to front desk to ask if I could move. She said the music will stop at 10, which in fairness it did. However I'd expect other nights to be open, and noisier, later. Not a problem if you yourself have a late night planned of course!

Fantastic location, a stones throw from new street station. Lots of great food options nearby (we went to Tokyo Izakaya around the corner, really recommend). Room was clean, tidy and comfortable and most importantly had fabulous air conditioning! The shower was incredible, we were able to get a hair dryer from reception, the staff were lovely and super helpful. Rachel checked us out and unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the girl who checked us in, but she was very helpful with all my queries and super friendly! We had booked a different hotel for our stay but unfortunately upon arrival it was very disappointing and way too hot to feel comfortable, I'm so happy I was able to get a room at Easy Hotel last minute and for a very good price, it honestly turned our short trip around and made it so enjoyable!

Only that I didn't book room here sooner!

We just had an overnight there before leaving England so we did not expect anything, but the room is air-conditioned (more than I would ever wish for). It is very helpful in a hot summer night. Check in, Check out process was easy as a hotel name. The staffs were very friendly especially Violetta. Walkable location to the main station, plenty of restaurants around.

nothing really but however I would not recommend to stay more than a night or two. The room is small (give me a Tokyo hotel vibe) and not for a whole family week trip. It is rather for a short or business trip

Really central location, the room was really quiet and at a great comfortable temperature to sleep, staff was really helpful and friendly! My room was small and had no windows, which for some people may be a huge no, but for one night it was really OK and comfortable (no noise from the street and no morning light waking me up!)

I would have appreciated, if not a kettle in the room, at least the option to have a free tea or instant coffee in the building - there is a hot drinks machine, but only marginally cheaper than buying a nice one in a café. A complimentary instant coffee/tea would not a huge cost for the hotel, and would've been nice. But again, you're so central you can just go out and have a quick hot drink anywhere!

Slightly larger than the room without a window I've stayed in before so a bit more space to manoeuvre round the bed. Great shower and although not a view (car park!) the blackout curtains were excellent - I slept in! Borrowed a hairdryer from reception and staff were friendly and helpful

Could have used a cup/ glass in the room although I know there is a coffee machine in the foyer Charging point on the side of bed closest to mirror didn't work - I only found out in the morning when my phone didn't charge and couldn't use the hairdryer there (used opposite side no problem) Bed felt a bit hard but I slept very well regardless A bit of exterior noise but to be expected for location and wasn't all night as has been the case at other hotels in Birmingham I've stayed at

Location is superb for central Birmingham and the New Street train station. Ideal for business, retail shopping or just sight seeing, it’s second to none especially when you compare the price. It’s no frills but it is very clean and functional with everything I needed for a business trip including free WiFi and for a fair nominal charge for early check in/check out. A huge thanks to Violeta for making everything easy ;)

I miss having access to breakfast but there are a number of local places to get what you need.

Room was warm and clean. Staff was very friendly when I arrived and explained everything to me very well. Location so close to the train station was key to me and made it easy to walk there and also walk to the other locations I was there to see such as the symphony hall and to restaurants.

Room was small but I knew that it would be tight when I booked. There was a little bit of noise, music playing from another room and also noise from the street but it wasn't too bad. I don't understand having to pay more for a room with a window but I was only there to sleep and was not in the room during the day so not having a window was fine.

I love everything about this place . This is my 8th visit as I always go for work.

Communication after you leave is terrible. The place is fantastic but I lost something and wanted to check if they had found it but did not manage to get a response. The person on the line kept on saying "enter or say out your reference number that starts with H " then cut off the phone without any care or the reason why someone would be calling. If you book with Travago or booking.com the reference has no H. This is frustrating and unhelpful. They need to have after care for customers. It appears they care about bookings and not clients. It appears they are interested in taking bookings not clients welfare after they leave. This could be administrative or managerial negligence, I am not sure. I have to travel back to check if they found what i suspect I lost.
