The room was lovely, very clean and spacious. We didn’t have breakfast, felt it was overpriced. Went to a place on broad street and had a lovely full English with refill tea for £7

Car parking for the hotel is expensive, we found alternative parking at the nearby fiveways multi storey, it was £8 for 24 hours

Whenever I visit Birmingham I always stay here and the staff are fantastic. There was a lovely lady who checked me in yesterday and checked me out today, I forgot to grab her name but she was lovely. It was around 4:10pm. I love the fact that there’s a “lazy Sunday “ late check out till 4pm for an extra £40 which is definitely worth it after a night out on a Saturday. The room was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed. I ordered room service and had the mushroom pasta and it was absolutely beautiful! 10/10 service throughout my entire experience. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back again!

Located in a busy part of town with lots of shops/gym/cinema around it. Not easy to get to in rush hour, mind you! Beautiful lobby, friendly staff, lovely comfortable room. We had an accessible room and the shower was good.

Parking is expensive for overnight and not directly attached to the hotel itself, you need to leave the parking complex and then enter the hotel. Accessible room - bed was oddly close to the wall (tv was also on the side wall) so had to navigate out of that side of bed - not sure why bed wasn’t more central to the room!? Also lifts a bit far from lobby (for those with mobility issues)

We needed a bed for the night and we’re really happy that there was a restaurant available on site so that dinner could be had and an early night to bed.

So…. We hadn’t read the parking information for our car when we booked… this information came in the form of a message via booking dot com ( where we booked through) The entrance to the hotel was so tricky to find. It wasn’t until we thought maybe we need to go into the parking garage…. Yep! that was the case. Park, get your luggage and walk through a series of corridors to exit the carpark and you will then see the hotel entrance. Be sure to tell the staff that you have a car in the garage as you will need to pay and they will then have your license plate loaded so that it can be scanned on leaving the carpark.

The parking is ridiculous you are lucky to leave the car park without a scratch to your vehicle and that’s with being over careful

Another great stay! 3rd stay in around 10 weeks and again everything was perfect!! Fab staff in particular a lovely lady at reception called Marta ( I think I may of misspelled) who was extremely friendly, polite, accommodating and kind. We arrived over an hour early and we were checked right in and we was kindly gifted two free drinks vouchers as it was my birthday during our stay. A lovely curtesy call to check if everything was ok with our room etc. Fantastic, friendly and warm gentleman called Mohammed who worked at the bar. He had a wonderful manner about him with first class customer service skills! I will be rebooking asap again!

Decor was lovely, reception staff were great. Big Thank You to Matthew whom was a star. His service was brilliant. He did the Hotel proud. The bar was great, food honestly was tasty and portion sizes were brilliant. We were celebrating a birthday and complimentary shots were given, which made the visit more special. Waiters were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend a stay here. Hotel was clean, ambience was nice, and overall a good visit.

When entering the restaurant and having to wait a long time before a waiter comes to us was frustrating. Also £4.50 for a small coke was ludicrous.

The location, the design of the lobby area, the restaurant, the room was big and spacious, the bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful. The staff were friendly and funny especially Matthew from the front desk, he knew it was my birthday and made check in fun and easy for me. And also Christina from housekeeping, she's so sweet and funny, I asked for some more toilet roll and she had none left on her trolley at the time so I told her it was fine and she literally went out of her way to get me some fresh toilet roll and surprised me at my door. Lovely lovely experience!!

The tv is not a smart tv, just a satellite tv which was a let down. We couldn't even get YouTube on the tv. A hotel of this calibre should really have smart tv's in their rooms, or at least in their executive rooms and higher. Even holiday inn express has smart tv's in their rooms which we found a bit odd.

Positives - Great hotel, stunning lobby and bar. Good location with safe parking. Friendly staff and easy check in and out. Hotel smells unreal. Good value for money.

Negatives - Room was decent enough, however no bin liners in the bins, not sure if this is a new thing? The rituals hand dispensers were dirty, with the conditioner by the sink and the hand moisturiser in the shower (clearly mixed up). Attention to detail missed a bit with wine stains on carpet and bed, nail varnish marks on sink and marks up wall by toilet gave an unclean feeling. Kindly had hot drink options in room and biscuits which were a nice touch, just personal preference but a bottle of water would have been good too but were not provided this. Our room was by next to the main corridor door and we could hear people coming through this door to go back to their rooms very loud.

Lovely service and beautiful hotel. We parked next door to the hotel in their car park. Marie Ann at reception was great. When we checked in she ran after us when we headed towards the wrong lifts to very kindly let us know and point us jn the right direction towards the right set (it was our first time staying but our conversation had led her to believe we had stayed there before so completely not her fault). The room was spacious and clean, with complimentary tea,coffee, biscuits, and water. The bed was comfortable with fluffy pillows.. The wardrobe was big with a safe, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. The bathroom had a large shower with 2 heads (1 rainfall), face cloths, and the condioner was really nice quality. We were on the top floor with views out over Birmingham. We ordered an uber to go to the area near the O2, which arrived quickly out the front, and we were there within a few moments. Great choice of buffet style breakfast in the morning too. We will be staying again. Oh and if we were quick we could have swapped to the hotels 50% off the car park and free breakfast, which would have been fantastic, but we went through booking.com. so next time we will swap to direct booking through them

One small gripe was the car park gate took ages to open to let us in and out, with us thinking we had done something wrong. Be patient, and it does open as long as you aren't too close to it. It was £28 (or 26) for 24 hour parking, and we had to pay the clean air for 2 days although literally going immediately to the hotel and leaving the car there and jumping in it to come home the next day, but that was not the hotels fault of course.
