We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Upon arrival, we had an upgraded room complimentary. The room was spacious, bed was comfy. We didn’t dine in the restaurant as we attended a wedding reception nearby. Next morning, breakfast (full English I went for) was very hot, fresh and tasted great. Various continental options alongside set out on table, the room carried on the characteristic of the hotel, very warm, great lighting and friendly feeling. The gardens are perfectly maintained and various spots to relax, enjoying the sun. We paid for 3 hours spa session, most say, it’s the best spa ever been too! Was amazing and felt great after a late evening.

The property was practically perfect in every way. If I was being critical (and this is picky sorry) the rooms to have bigger TVs in. With the spacious room, the small tv was almost lost on the wall.

I was given a free upgrade which was wonderful and the room was lovely. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of the ingredients at breakfast was great. A nice quiet location so a good night's sleep.

The continental selection at breakfast was limited although tasty. I did not expect at this type of hotel to have to pay extra for an additional cup of coffee at breakfast - the price is already quite high so very disappointed with that. The quality of the complimentary biscuit in the room is poor for this level of hotel along with a limited range of beverages; would have liked a wider range of herbal teas, earl gray, hot chocolate - just comparing to other 4* hotels I have stayed in.

I always love staying at this hotel, and when I cant because of their popularity, I am always disappointed wherever I stay. There is plenty of parking. The staff are always playful and full of smiles. The breakfast and dinner options are exceptional. The wine selection is brilliant and the Guinness perfectly poured. There is a great spa and gym. Highly recommended.

its very difficult to find something that is wrong with this hotel, without being really picky.

The spa was incredible - so many cool variations of steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, and chill out areas. Absolutely perfect for a girls weekend away! The food was surprisingly good in the restaurant too and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I’d definitely just go for a meal if I wasn’t staying there - great menu, big portions, tasty fresh ingredients. All good things!

The room was a little bit dated but honestly, for the price, it was absolutely fine. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, space was perfect for two people, it just wasn’t flashy but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Would definitely recommend!

We booked a standard room for a single night to celebrate our anniversary. On arrival, we were told that we had been upgraded to a bigger room at the front desk. When we got to the room, we were so pleasantly surprised due to the beautiful features of the room. There was a beautiful star lit bath, kitchenette & living room suite downstairs and upstairs, the bathroom and bedroom. We had such a wonderful weekend & will be back in the near future to try the restaurant and spa facilities! Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Lovely welcome at the reception and we were able to check in early as our room was ready. The hotel is welcoming and very clean. The rooms are comfortable and well presented with the addition of an iron which was very useful. Lovely shower. Nice smelling toiletries. The staff were all very friendly and exceptionally helpful. I cannot praise them enough. We were joining a large family party who were attending a funeral. This included several young children. Breakfast was particularly chaotic but the staff managed with efficiency and cheerfulness. I really can’t praise them enough.

I think use of the pool should have been included for the price.

Family wedding not at this venue. Slept here 3 nights & had breakfast once. Chosen for location which was great for what we had on our agenda. Didn’t really use the facilities available other than that.

Noise from weddings at the venue was pretty loud in our room, but we knew it was a venue for such things when we decided to stay here. My wife had to send her one breakfast back. The one egg of 2 on eggs Benedict was totally overcooked & hard. The other was fine. Whole breakfast was replaced with apologies, but not the best start.

We attended my brothers wedding - David & Lindsey, room was beautifully decorated, the garden space was perfect for popping in & out. My 8yr old loved the little park area, and played for hours. The rooms were spacious and comfy. We had a double room & brought a readybed for the 8yr old that we laid beside our bed and still had plenty of room. The bed was so comfortable we had a wonderful night sleep The food for the wedding was delicious, and the staff were so attentive. We wanted for nothing. It felt so safe, that our 8yr old was off playing with his cousin for hours, on the grounds and we had no concerns. It was a wonderful day, in a beautiful venue.

Our 1st room was not suitable for us as it was a long walk down a corridor, past the swimming pool smelling strongly of chlorine and then up two flights of stairs. My partner is disabled and can't walk long distances without getting out of breath and there was no lift available to take us and our luggage upwards. We went back to Reception and they put us in a very nice room with a lift nearby. Lack of teabags/coffee and fresh milk. Only 1 flannel between two people. No soap, only liquid soap on wall which was hard to get hands under. Toilet very low, hard for us to cope with without grab handles.

the location . the outside area. the breakfast and evening meal . some rooms had fridges with water others did not .

the ground floor room for ease of access for disabled was very dark and view was all enclosed by buildings. the room itself had plenty of room for mobility .I was surprised all accessibility rooms are all upstairs In event of fire you are not to use lifts.
